I generally like to do a meet up with the dog and the owner before visits to determine if we are a good match and we all know what to expect. I like to know their demeanor, any triggers that may make them anxious, their feeding schedules/daily routine, and what they expect for daily activity outside. I want the pet to recognize my home before they are here for their first stay, as I know that can be very confusing for them at first! If your dog is reactive or working on potty training, I would like to know beforehand so I can better plan our day and how to make them comfortable/avoid any surprises. If medication is needed, I would like a run down in person (if complex) as to what is needed.

I love to stimulate your dog physically and mentally. I love going on long walks and tracking them through the app so you are able to see what we’re up to! If cleared by the owner that the dog is good with other dogs, I enjoy taking them to the dog park in my building so they can have playdates with other friendly pups! I will keep them on the same feeding schedule you provide and make sure everything is consistent with what their day-to-day is at home. Expect to receive countless pictures of our day when your dog stays with me! If Rover parents miss their pups, I am also more than willing to hop on facetime so you can say hi, etc. If your dog is working on specific commands/crate training, etc, I like to implement training sessions and make sure they being stimulated! A nice long nap after countless activities is usually the best part of the day!
