About: I've had a dog since I was ten, and today three cats and a dog share my home right alongside me. Living with four animals under one roof means I know their routines, their moods, and their quirks by heart, and I understand exactly how much it matters to trust the right person with something that personal. That same instinct shows up in how I work. I'm a checklist person by nature: feeding times, routines, and quirks followed exactly as given, and you'll get daily photos and videos so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and loved. I'm a college student with mostly online classes, so my schedule bends around your pet instead of the other way around. I'm free for house sitting stays and drop in visits any day of the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and I confirm bookings a few days ahead so you know I'm locked in well before you leave. No shift to clock into, no class to rush home for, just consistent, dependable time for whatever your pet actually needs. 👉I offer house sitting and drop in visits, which means your pet never has to leave home, no new house, no new animals, nothing unfamiliar on top of you already being away. I stick to their existing feeding, walk, and routine schedule exactly as you've set it, and keep the house locked up and lived in while you're gone. I come to your pet's world instead of asking your pet to adjust to mine, giving them my full, undivided attention until you're back😊. Services Defined: House sitting is an overnight stay: I arrive at 6pm and leave at 7am. Need daytime care? Please book drop ins. If you need me at your home for a longer stretch during the day, message me first and I’ll quote it separately. Drop ins: Drop ins are 30 minute visits during the day, with 60 minutes available. I take care of feeding, fresh water, litter, and playtime, and send you an update after every visit. Need something longer? Message me and I’ll quote it.

I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to visit and play with your pets! I'm available at most times, 7 days a week. I care for pets by following their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any special instructions. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong pet person who grew up with a whole host of cats and dogs. I love all pets but my favorites are big dogs and old cats — I have a 21 year old cat and a French Mastiff back home. My background as a teacher, nanny, house manager, and personal assistant means I’m reliable, organized, and great at keeping routines smooth. I’m happy to share references and I love meet & greets to make sure it’s a perfect fit. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! My law school classes start in the late morning and are spread throughout the day, which gives me flexibility for morning visits, midday check-ins, and walks. For clients in Charlottesville, I’m able to come back to the home between classes, so pets aren’t left alone for long stretches. When I care for pets in your home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, relaxed, and never feeling alone. I spend time with them in common spaces so they can get used to me. If they’re comfortable, I let pets sleep in my room at night so they don’t feel lonely or miss their owners too much. Safety is a top priority for me—I never take dogs outside a fenced yard without a leash, even if they’re well trained, and I’m very careful with doors and entryways (I know all the kitty-proof tricks to prevent curious cats from sneaking out). I enjoy playing with pets who are able, I’m very clean and tidy, quick to handle messes, and I treat your home with care. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax while you’re away.

About: I have a dog of my own. I will make sure yours is well taken care of. I am passionate about animals and will do what it takes to meet their needs. At home, I help care for a Pitbull Mix and a large Australian Shepherd, both weighing around 75 lbs. I am confident in my ability to understand their body language and handle them effectively. I have experience administering medicine, cleaning up accidents, managing reactive dogs, and caring for animals of all ages. For years, I have been doing drop-in visits and overnight stays caring for dogs, cats, and even goats! I’m organized, reliable, responsible, and adaptable to your pet’s specific needs. For the Fall 2026 semester, I am consistently busy Tuesdays and Thursdays midday and for a few hours in the evenings, but am available in the mornings and every other day of the week. Back at home we have 2 medium-large dogs that weigh in at around 75 lbs that I can walk, crate, and otherwise manage. I’m able to notice changes in body language and what they mean. I also have experience feeding and giving medication to livestock and am comfortable dealing with larger animals.

It was urgent because our daughter was getting married and we would be gone all day. Rachael got back to us very quickly, came for a previsit and we knew we (and our dog) were in good hands. And to top it off, one of the bride's maids who was staying with us unexpectedly brought her dog too so we had to ask her at the last minute to walk a second dog as well. Rachael didn't skip a beat. About: I've been pet sitting since age 12, grew up with dogs, and started fostering cats and dogs in college. I have a cat of my own now! I have experience with both puppies and kittens, as well as with senior pets. I have also given oral medications and eye drops, and am comfortable with large and small dogs. I just finished up grad school and am working on job applications, so my schedule is pretty open! I am free any time during the week and on most weekends. I am more than happy to walk your dogs, take them to the dog park, or just hang out with pets who have separation anxiety! I have no problem giving medications of any kind, helping out with training, or keeping senior pets comfortable.
