“Dakota connects well with our dog Patrick and is able to re-direct him when he wants to just turn around and come home. Our pup can be just one small ball of over excitement and exuberance and they handle that well. Dakota has been very reliable and always lets me know if he needs to adjust the time a bit.”

“Emil is a great dog walker for our needs. We rely on him daily, and never disappoints or doesn't show up. He is a great communicator and is upfront on what he can do. We will continue to book Emil in the future.”

“Julia is an exceptional dog walker. Her care of our dog is outstanding, from the length of the walks to her following what we have asked of her. And she not only understands her role, but proactively found a replacement for future times she will be unable to walk him. We could not be happier with Julia!”

“Penny was easy to work with and took great care of our dogs. She was very responsive and took extra care with Evie. We’re grateful for her help and would wholeheartedly recommend her to others.”

“Thank you Kris! My pups always look so happy in the pictures with you and it’s the best thing in the world having a peace of mind that they are being taken care so well!”

“Fantastic! I could not imagine a better experience. Dependable, considerate, thorough. Tons of pictures and updates and my dog became genuinely fond of Lissette. The best dog walker of all time.”

About: I have been taking care of friends, family members animals for over 2 years now while attending college. I love giving care to their furry friends while they are away. Having animals myself I understand the need to have a trustworthy caretaker while away! I look forward to become your pets new friend! I currently work 30/32 hours a week usually during the early mornings or mid afternoons. I have usually offered early morning walks or evening walks to those in need! I am able to do overnights as well, but always check to make sure the animals will be okay while I work! I have always tried to take care of the pets in the exact way the client has asked. I am able to sit in during meals, stay to get energy out, or even squirrel watch! I always try to make the animals stay in the routine that they have known!

About: I have a large family dog that I have been responsible for since I was about 10 years old. She has since gotten older so I have experience with a senior dog and giving any sorts of medication (and the peanut butter necessary to get her to take it). I am no stranger to having to clean up any accidents in the house so that is a non-issue for me. I am also open to taking care of other animals like rodents or turtles or other cage creatures. I am a true and passionate animal lover! My schedule is very flexible at the moment. I am happy to give as much or little time needed for the pets. I can figure out any scheduling and details necessary with clients. I am never loud coming into a home. I always let the pets come to me unless they are hiding on purpose. I take care instructions very seriously and will follow everything exactly and will reach out if I have questions about the best way I can care for your fur friend.
“Abby was great. Came over the week before to meet my dogs. She came over on time to play with the dogs in the backyard (it was too hot for a mid-day walk). The dogs looked happy in the pics and were happy when we arrived back home!”

About: Hey y’all! I have taken care of pets, specifically dogs, for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Louisiana with 2 dachshunds in my family home. One of them had diabetes, so I am experienced with giving shots and oral medication. In addition to taking care of the weenie dogs, I had a pet hedgehog and chameleon in high school. I truly love animals of all kinds. I grew up walking and dog sitting for family friends and neighbors. In high school, I was an involved volunteer at my local humane society. When I was in college, I ended up rescuing a dog from that shelter. My parents took him in since I lived in a college dormitory. After I graduated college, I couldn’t wait to get my own dog! Here in Charlottesville, I have 1 dog now, Pretzel, who is a small lab mix. He is also a rescue, and is my world! I can’t wait to meet, walk, and watch your pets! I have a non-traditional work schedule that is unpredictable but also flexible. I go into work most week days, or sometimes work from home. My hours can vary, but I always make time to walk my dog Pretzel multiple times a day with trips to the dog park when I can. I am available on the weekends. In my home, Pretzel roams free. I do not kennel him, as he is potty trained. I want Pretzel to be able to roam around as he pleases. Pretzel sleeps with me every night.
“Alice was really accommodating by helping me out at the last minute. She was prompt in her responses through the app and send good communications and my dog. Great service! Thank you!”

“Miriah is a great communicator and a clear lover of animals! Churro took to her as soon as she came to the house for our meet and greet. Despite heavy rains rolling through, she took him for a nice long walk and made sure he was comfortable. I will happily book her again, and I know Churro would be excited to see her!”

About: Make sure you have a sitter that loves your pet as much as you do! I am a devoted animal lover and I have 8 years of pet sitting experience (not including my own dogs/cats/guinea pigs/ect!). I have experience with a wide age range of dogs (and other furry friends!) including puppies to senior dogs, and have done pet sitting gigs ranging from a weekend, a week, or even a month if needed! I know how important it is to leave your furry baby with someone who will treat them as well as you do. My job is to do just that! I currently work remote with very flexible work day hours. I am a graduate student at UVA with very flexible summer hours. I am happy to spend the day with your pet, a few check ins, a good walk, or whatever else you and your pet may need! I respect you and your pets space! Its very important to me to do what makes you both happy and most comfortable during my time with you. Please do not hesitate to ask for anything or share any information or instructions which would help you feel at ease

“Amy was a fantastic friend to our 10-year old Husky while we were out of town. She frequently went “above and beyond” to assure that She was calm and settled. Our reports were detailed and thoughtful. Additional, she was extremely responsive to us and our dog. We are grateful and recommend her as a thoughtful, caring pet partner!”
