About: Hi! My name is Riley and I'm a 21-year-old nursing student originally from South Carolina. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm raising and caring for many different animals, so caretaking has always come naturally to me. As of now, I have 4 dogs back at home and 1 pup currently residing with me. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with all types of animals, my reliability, and how much I truly love caring for them. At home, I help care for a Pitbull Mix and a large Australian Shepherd, both weighing around 75 lbs. I am confident in my ability to understand their body language and handle them effectively. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve had big and small dogs. I currently have two small Morkies, Pickle and Penny. Pickle requires a special diet and pills to be given daily. Penny loves to be close and cuddle. My parents dogs is a black lab who over the past few years I’ve helped take care of. She has Addison disease and requires medication daily. She also needs a special routine to help keep her from getting overwhelmed. I’ve also had cats throughout my whole life and frequently had to give medications to my last cat Tilly. I’ve had two dogs since the age of 13 and was a big part of their training. My two dogs who live at home are reactive on leash so I am familiar with how to walk and care for reactive dogs. I have also been a foster parent for cats at my local SPCA. I am comfortable with administering any kind of oral medication necessary.
