About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. I have two cats of my own, and I enjoy dog and cat sitting just as much as spending time with my own pets. Since I love going on long walks, I’m the perfect match for dogs who need some exercise. Whether it's a walk, a check in, or overnight, I will make sure your pets get all the love and care they need! I currently work close to full time, but I still have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to other responsibilities. My days are always free until 4pm, and I’m also available later in the evenings. In addition, I’m off every Sunday, which allows me even more time! I will care for your pets with the same love and compassion I give my own. I'm responsible and dependable, and my goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. Throughout middle/high school, I volunteered with our local SPCA and was able to gain more experience in learning different traits and behaviors of dogs. During this time, I assisted with a program that allowed members of the community to come in and learn more about dog training; this allowed me to gain greater experience into the proper ways to train a dog. Throughout my time in undergrad, I frequently dog sat/walked for the residents and attendings at our academic hospital. I have worked with dogs of all ages and sizes, who have had variable care and medical needs. Currently my family (my parents) has three rescues at home. They are my favorites (obviously haha) and you can find Apollo dressed up many times in the pictures up here! The dogs live with them though in a different state (that’s why i clicked no on « do you have any pets). I’m currently a preparing to start my first semester as a full-time grad student; however once the semester begins, my schedule remains highly flexible and will allow me time to engage in pet care! I have a lot of availability on the weekends, but also plenty of time during the weekdays to fit in a walk or to pet sit. While I do believe that socialization is an important part of a pet’s life and development, during my time with them, we will remain to ourselves and avoid interactions with other animals (unless you would like them to engage in that manner). Safety for everyone is one of the most important components to caring for pets, so if you have any rules in place (i.e. crating or off limit areas), I am more than happy to ensure they are followed during our time. One of my former pet parents (and friends) was a certified dog trainer, so I have a lot of experience in adapting to your pet’s lifestyle and giving them the enrichment they need, in a safe manner :)

About: I have a dog of my own. I will make sure yours is well taken care of. I am passionate about animals and will do what it takes to meet their needs. I am currently unemployed so I will have plenty of free time to care for your pups. I am available anytime and am pretty flexible. I take my dog on walks. I feed her twice a day and take her out 4 times a day. I am definitely knowledgeable when it comes to dogs.

On the days I’m working, I can still accommodate morning, evening, and some weekend visits, so pets get reliable, attentive care built into my schedule. For drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they have fresh water, food as instructed, a potty break, and plenty of playtime or cuddles so they feel comfortable while you’re away. For dog walks, I focus on safe, enjoyable walks that match your dog’s energy level, making sure they get exercise, enrichment, and a chance to explore while I keep you updated with notes and photos after each visit.

About: Hi! I'm Kelsey, and I'm a mid 20s UVA student looking to make a bit of extra money while I get my education degree :) I have lived with both dogs and cats since I was 5 years old and have spent all of high school and college pet sitting. I'm used to specific instructions and special needs, I grew up with dogs that needed both (and a blind cat). I'm just a girl who loves hanging out with animals! I currently do not live with any pets as well :) I am currently a full time student with a flexible schedule! I do not have any pets of my own and have lots of time daily or weekly to meet your pets needs :) I do not offer in home services because I rent in a space where pets are not allowed in my lease, hence why I do not have a pet of my own.
