About: I grew up in Tahoe and love all the wildlife and nature! My grandparents founded one of Oregon’s first canine-crisis-response therapy dog organizations, inspiring my lifelong passion for animals. I’ve raised two Portuguese water dogs and a cat named Merlin. I’ve volunteered at shelters, and studied the human-canine bond in college. Now I’m preparing for med school so I’m looking to help support myself by combining my passion for animals and care! Animals have always been a part of my life that brings me peace and contentment. Being able to care for animals brings me happiness while I study for the MCAT and save money to support myself through med school. I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and have cared for a wide range of temperaments. I take time to understand each dog’s unique personality and needs, adjusting my approach accordingly. Whether a dog needs gentle encouragement, extra training, or space and patience, I can adapt quickly to meet their needs. I always listen closely to the owner’s preferences and concerns, making sure my care aligns with their routines, boundaries, and goals. About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.

About: Hello! My name is Cassidy and I have several decades of experience working with and caring for animals of all kinds. I grew up on a horse farm and helped care for 10+ horses, 8+ dogs (including a litter of puppies), dozens of cats, chickens, peacocks, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, and llamas. I have experience with all sorts of temperaments, behavioral challenges, and medical issues. I have experience administering medication and can adapt care to your pet’s specific needs. I would love the opportunity to put my skills to work and care for your pet, let me know if you have any questions! I work remotely from home and can provide care in the evenings (after 5pm) and on weekends. I am pretty flexible in the evenings and on the weekends. Safety is my top priority - I strive to give your pet the highest quality and safest level of care possible. I strictly follow instructions and err on the safe side to minimize possible risks.

About: Hi! My dog Enzo and I enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. I would also be more than happy to take care of your pups while you’re out of town. Enzo and I can come to your place, or your dog can stay with us at ours. I work as an emergency room nurse so my shifts are variable, but I have four days off each week. When I am not working, I am able to be with the dogs doing dog adventures all day long! I am often off work for a week at a time. My schedule is variable because I work in health care. When I am not at the hospital working, I can dedicate the whole day to hanging with the pups Dogs will stay in the house with frequent potty breaks. We have a morning and evening walk each day at the very least - most days I try to spend the majority of the day outside with hikes and lake days

About: Hello! I am Colleen and have taken care of dogs my whole life. I currently have a 10 month old puppy who is the sweetest, chillest pup in the world and LOVES other dogs. I also didn’t go out for the first few months since I felt too guilty to leave him overnight + I couldn’t find someone who stayed up late enough for me to just go to dinner or a concert and pick him up after. I’m currently between jobs, so felt like I could help address that gap! I’m happy to watch your pup for a few hours or for a few days and promise to send a ton of pics of them! If you have a pup, Vino is great for socialization efforts as he’s super playful but will also be submissive and lay on his back if there are shyer dogs. He’s also great at showing his friends there’s nothing to worry about. (Ie- my parents couldn’t take their dog to restaurants bc he was so out of sorts. Vino showed him how to just relax and get those belly rubs in ~1 hr). So, let me know if there’s anything he add to the experience! I have a very large roofdeck that dogs love running around and also plenty of time to walk them and take them on adventures. I stay up late and get up early, so pick up and drop off is at your convenience! We usually start the day with a long walk and then head up to the roof for coffee and bird watching. I’ve had blind senior dogs who needed injections and puppies who needed love every 5 minutes and am happy to cater to your individual dogs needs!

About: Long time pet owner and animal lover! I have experience with dogs and cats of all stages, including high energy breed (Huskies/German Shepherds/Labradors) puppies in the training phase to geriatric, special needs, and aggressive dogs. I adopted a Senior dog and cared for him through his golden years. In his old age, he was no longer comfortable with other dogs, became reactive, and needed special health care before he passed. I understand that certain dogs need more tailored care and I would love to provide that! For the past several years I've done in-home cat sitting for cats of all stages. I've taken care of special needs cats including geriatric and terminally ill that required medication administration, syringe feeding, and extra love and comforting. I have extensive experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and all activity levels. I love taking dogs on hikes and giving lots of pets! I work fully remotely and have a flexible schedule. Typically I'm in a few meetings in the morning and my afternoons are open for longer walks or hikes. I have a fully fenced back yard with a very walker friendly neighborhood with sidewalks. I have a large open floor plan where animals are welcome throughout. I'm happy to let furry friends throughout my house or I can accommodate crating needs.
