“This was our first experience with Rover. Previously we had a family member take care of our pets but they had moved out of town and it was challenging to find someone that we felt as comfortable with. I can't say enough about Lavinia - not only did she take care of our pets like they were her own, she knew how to take care of Mom and Dad too! We asked for updates and throughout our vacation she sent us great photos and funny messages about the boys. She was very conscientious and careful about everything in the house. She also took care of our flowers and birds perfectly. You can't fake this kind of care and devotion and we feel so incredibly grateful to have found her.”

About: As a man with a strong love and passion for dogs, I have taken a lot of time to grow my understanding and experience working with these beautiful creatures many call our best friends! My experiences are: -Working at suburban animal hospital - years working at doggy daycare/ training facility’s - studied at animal behavior college for canine obedience training -dabbles in canine fitness - dabbles in canine holistic health and nutrition. I am currently doing pet care as a part time job but as my other endeavors of landscaping and martial arts is flexible, I would love to make a career out of my passion! When your Pets are in my care I want to make there time as fun and stress free as can be. To do that I make sure to have a full understanding of your pets behavior, triggers, fears, and possible injuries to safely modify my care to fit each individual pets needs. You tell me your home boundaries for your pets and I will make sure they are followed the same way you do when your home!

“Julia took care of our four family dogs at our home - one golden retriever, a yorkie, and two havenese. Two of the dogs required daily medications for anxiety and seizures prevention. One of them also had as needed medications for situational anxiety. During her house sitting, the heat went out and she made me aware right away and was able to let our maintenance men in to fix the problem. She sent photos and updates throughout our time away, and checked in after the trip to ensure we were satisfied with the care of our pups. Easy to work with and communicate with.”
