About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was little, mostly house sitting and through my parents and sister's many different pets. I love training, walking, and cuddling with these empathetic creatures. I also have some experience in helping out at a dog boarding and day care facility in Steamboat Springs. I graduated December 2021 with my Outdoor Education AA and my Sustainability Studies BA from Colorado Mountain College. I then had the privilege to travel internationally and more locally for a year afterwards but the yampa valley curse sucked me back in! I now live in Steamboat full time. This past April (2025) I was unfortunately laid off from my position as Conservation Corps Program Manager at Rocky Mountain Youth Corps due to federal funding cuts. BUT lucky for you and your pets that does mean that I am now available full time for walks and sitting! I can provide any environment that best suits your dog. I want them to feel safe and to stick with their routine while you are away. I prefer house sitting rather than drop ins with dogs that are not used to their owners being away for long periods of time. I will do my best to provide stability, basic needs, and of course lots of love, attention and cuddles! Aside from the occasional travels, outdoor adventures, and family visits, I am now available any time ‘day or night’ for walks, drop ins, and sittings while I navigate this crazy life change (and fully enjoy an entire summer in Steamboat for the first time 😉🤗) I want your dog to be the most comfortable they can be while you are gone. I will try to stick to their normal routine and training as closely as possible and provide them lots of love and play time!

I am a teacher so have the whole summer off to play! During the school year, my husband has a flexible schedule so between the two of us, we can take care of whatever your pet needs! About: I have experience looking after dogs of all kinds and sizes, & experience with dog/house sitting, feedings, walking, and bathing! When your pup is under my care, you can often find us exploring the outdoors or snuggling up with lots of scratches. My husband & I are a package deal, so you would get 2 (plus a pup friend for your pup to play with) for the price of 1! I work in Steamboat Wednesdays-Sundays and can let your pup out on my lunch break. Mondays & Tuesdays we can hang all day! I have a 1.5 year old mini golden doodle who loves all dogs and will provide your dog with lots of playtime and friendly company. My husband and pup would accompany me, so it’s 3 for the price of 1! We are very attentive to the needs of our furry friends. We have a very friendly 1.5 year old golden doodle who will provide your pup with lots of playtime and company. l have lots of experience caring for client’s dogs in their homes and my own over night.

“If I could give 10 stars I would! Kristin made herself available to me last minute, after I had run out of options for my dog Murphy to be taken care of for the weekend. She agreed to take care of him and from that moment on, everything was a total breeze. She took him fishing—I got pictures of him looking goofy in a fishing boat, and she took him for a hike the next day. Tuckered him out big time. My whole family met her as my sons and ex-husband dropped him off and my daughter and I picked him up. We all agreed Kristin was AMAZING! Obviously a huge dog lover and a kind and FUN person. She took the best care of him that anyone ever could. I can’t imagine she’s not the best on all of Rover, seriously, she loved him like her own. I would recommend her to anyone who wants their dog not only looked after, but loved. Your dog will thank you!”

“Sadie stayed with Suzanne and her family for 11 days. They were absolutely amazing, they treated her as if she was one of their own. We got updates on what Sadie did during the day, how much exercise she was getting and a bunch of pictures to help ease our minds. There was no doubt that Sadie was in good hands. Sadie had a heath concern during her stay due to a preexisting condition, Suzanne was on the ball, she chatted with us about what was going on and even took her to see the Vet. Overall, Sadie looked like she was having an amazing time with Suzanne and her family. We highly recommend them to take care of your furry animal.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have been taking care of friends dogs ever since I can remember. In my community I am often the first person called when it comes down to finding a trustworthy pet sitter. In addition, I have spent the last 5 years working with/ and babysitting kids with severe cognitive and physical disabilities. As a full time student I spend a lot of my time doing school work but, like dogs, need to get out and run around. I get to spend my time outside, on walks, runs, and bikes in between classes and on the weekends. I live in an apartment with two other dog loving girls. I am more than happy to share my bed or floor with an interested pup. Although I don't have a yard, I live right across from a big soccer field and have access to the horse gulch trail system behind my apartment (which I frequently use). I am currently working as a plumber for my dad. I tend to have lots of leniency with work and can even bring a pup with me! My house is open to all cats and dogs and that includes the couch haha! I live outside of town in a house where dogs have lots of room to roam and even a pond! In my home the safety of all pets is very important :)

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 13 years old and have previously owned a dog for over 16 years. I am excellent at training new dogs and am fully capable of taking care of their every need. I have experience with both large and small dogs and am confident handling either size. I adore both dogs and cats and will show the same love and attention to your pet as if it were my own. I have very flexible hours and can typically choose my own schedule, so I would be able to dedicate extra time and attention to caring for your pet and making sure all of their needs are met. I live in a pet friendly apartment with a balcony that is pet safe and have a yard as well as a park that is very close to where I live. Boarded dogs would typically go on walks 3 times a day unless preferred differently by owner and play time would happen regularly throughout the day.

I am available for drop in visits morning, throughout the day and at the end of the day. If your pet needs special attention let me know! If they are cat friendly they can stay at my place otherwise I can make arrangements to potentially stay at your place if your pet needs overnight care. My attention to detail and deep compassion will guide my care as I communicate with you to best understand needs, schedule and expectation of care. About: I have two dogs my self and I’ve grown up with dogs. I am a teacher in town and I’d love to take care of your furry friend! I only serve a couple nights a week from 4pm-9pm and besides that I have all my days off. My night shifts are from 4pm-9pm, which is pretty short. The spring creek dog trail or the butcherknife park is where we go on our morning walks (our house is a couple blocks). I do have two dogs (Maple and Moki) that would be thrilled to play with your dogs. They both don’t have any aggressions over toys or food. In my house the dogs are welcome on the couches/beds, as it’s their house too. We have lots of toys, comfortable places to sleep, and trails by our house that we get to walk on everyday.
