“We texted Rillan and told her we were picking up the boys early She had everything ready for us! The boys did not seem to care that we were there. I appreciated the photos and communication”

“Tess and Curt helped me out in a pinch when I had to go out of town last minute. They responded promptly and the details were all coordinated very quickly. They are very friendly and have a lovely outdoor space for the pups to run around in. I got lots of pictures throughout Wendy's stay which I really appreciated!”

“Oh my god! The absolute best I’ve seen yet! Raven was well taken care of and Ryan often sent pictures of Raven! We were on a last minute trip, and Ryan saved us by picking up and dropping off Raven! What a great family and just took the upmost care of Raven! Ryan and his family are hands down the GREATEST!!”

“Our dogs love their time at Katie’s! They are so well taken care of and we are kept so well informed of their stay. Our dogs love that Katie has such an expansive fenced in yard to play in all day! Katie is so responsive and accommodating.”

“Mikaila and Billy are so wonderful! AB has so much fun with them and seems really comfortable. She really enjoys her stays and I feel very comfortable leaving her with them.”

“So incredibly willing and kind. Great communication. I have two dogs, and they’re usually unsure around new people, but they weren’t with Derya. Both boys warmed up to him almost immediately. While I was away he kept sending me photos of videos of my boys with updates letting me know how they were doing. When I got back up and picked them up, my boys were happy and very clearly enjoyed their time. Would 100% recommend Derya to anyone wanting to know their fur baby will be safe while they are away. Like Derya said, you’re on vacation and he treats your dogs like they are also on vacation. You cannot go wrong booking with Derya, so do it!”

About: Dogs are such wonderful animals! I will take good care of your pup and be sure to spoil it with toys and walks. I know how hard it is leaving your pet while you are away, and will share pictures of your pet every day with you. I am self-employed and my schedule is very flexible, and I often work from home. Also, I'm pretty sure my two teenage kids would be involved with spoiling your pet as well. Luckily, I have a two-story duplex, so if there is a problem between my pets and yours, there is plenty of safe place. Also, I live near a park with lots of space to run.

“Lauren was wonderful! She took great care of our Golden Retriever, Stevie, while we attended a PSU game. Would absolutely recommend her and use her services again!”

“10/10 recommend Brooke! Our senior dog had a great stay with her. She sends photos and lots of updates and he returned so happy! Will be booking again for sure. Thanks Brooke!”

“Maya took very good care of our little Ellie. Clearly adores dogs and has lots of experience taking care of them - we'll definitely be reaching out to her again next time we're headed out of town!”

About: I have years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes! I grew up always having a dog around so I have years of experience. I am very responsible and reliable when it comes to any job or task. I currently just moved into the State College area. I’m currently on a job search. Until I find the right job for me, my availability is very open. I currently don’t have any pets in my home. I prefer not to stay at my clients homes to watch their dog. I would prefer drop-ins or bring them to my home. Outside of my home we have a dog park and walking trails!

“Ruben was amazing with our high maintenance doggos. He spent lots of time with them, playing and walking them, making sure they were stimulated and getting their exercise. We hope to book with him again!”

About: I’ve grown up around big dogs my whole life—my family had a Pit bull, English bulldog, a Cane Corso, and two labs—so I’m super comfortable with large breeds and understand how to care for their specific needs. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, and on my own since I was 16. Over the years, I’ve helped neighbors, friends, and family with walking, feeding, bathing, and just making sure their pets feel safe and loved. Whether your dog is playful or shy, I’m confident I can provide a calm, positive environment for them while you’re away. I currently am a student, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pup. I’m never gone or out of the house for more like 2-2.5 hours and I am extremely active so time for play, walks, hikes and down time throughout the day will be made. Your dog’s routine and comfort will always be my priority! Pets in my care will be treated like family. Dogs are like our own children at the end of the day! I keep a clean, pet-safe space, and I always follow the owner’s instructions closely to keep routines consistent and stress-free. Whether it’s crate training, special diets, or medication, I’ve got it covered with care and attention to detail!

About: When my parents got me a puppy when I was 12 years old, I was extremely excited to take care of her. I love taking care of her so much, so I decided that I wanted to go around my neighborhood and take care of their dogs. It has been such a great experience ever since! I am currently a student at Penn State, but I usually end classes at around 3 during the weekdays. I have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all free at anytime. Providing safe, enjoyable dog walking and daycare services tailored to each pet’s needs. I ensure structured exercise, engaging playtime, and a comfortable environment to keep dogs happy, healthy, and well-cared-for while their owners are away.

State College dog parents share their Rover experiences
We were new to Rover having found ourselves in need of boarding care for our 12 year old Yorkie, CoCo. Poor kennel experiences in the past with our Labrador, Ginger, limited our options. Add to that, the family members who would normally care for CoCo were coming with us. In comes Bella! She has the credentials and the experience to deliver high quality services. But she goes beyond that! Bella’s loving care of CoCo enabled us to enjoy our vacation with confidence. Bella kept us connected with updates and pictures. When we returned, CoCo was relaxed and comfortable. Bella even made treats safe for CoCo! I highly recommend Bella’s boarding services and am so thankful that Rover provided a great match.
