Georgette had another great experience with Tess and Curt. She played hard and fell asleep in the car on the three minute drive home. I appreciated the updates throughout the day.

About: I’ve always had family animals that I’ve adored and that got my foot into working in rescue! I’ve work with extra small to extra large dogs, a lot of cats and some other species. I feel very comfortable with behavioral differences in different animals. I’ve worked along side very talented vets and techs that have taught me a lot about medical care, as well. I work part time at home with a dog and two cats. I take physical and mental enrichment very seriously for all animals. Any animal I’m caring for comes first everyday. A tired dog is a happy dog. I have friendly animals at home, a large crate if needed and a separate room set up for shy animals to warm up to the other animals. We have a large (not fenced) yard but we take many long walks a day to keep up with physical needs!

Jessica and her family were amazing sitters for our Labrador "Bella!" We couldn't have asked for a nicer or kinder family to entrust our fury family member. Bella loved her time with Jessica leaving my wife and I comforted to know she was in good care! Highly recommend Jessica for any pet sitting services. She took the time to periodically send videos and photos during Bella's stay. This further secured our trust that Bella was in good hands and allowed my wife and I to enjoy our vacation. We will definitely use Jessica again!

Rillan is fantastic! Our dog is afraid of strangers and we are worried about her situation before coming. We chose Rillan because she had experience with feared dogs. Our dog, DianDian, had a great experience here and I believed she made friends with Rillan. We also received lovely pictures of DianDian almost everyday. Feel free to put your dog here since it’s a good choice!

Katrina was an absolute blessing while watching our senior dog, Fudge. We were away for our daughter's graduation and she made sure we could be fully present without a second of worry. She took Fudge on gentle walks tailored to his pace, and constantly sent the sweetest videos and photos that had us smiling the whole weekend. You can tell she truly loves senior dogs — she was patient, attentive, and treated Fudge like her own. Returning to a happy, relaxed pup was the best graduation gift we could ask for. We trust Katina 100% and will be booking her again. If you have a senior dog, she’s your person!

I had a fantastic experience with Crystal while she looked after my 9-month-old Snowshoe cat, Mavis, during my spring break. Right from the meet and greet, she knew her stuff. She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. She kept in touch throughout my trip, sending updates and adorable pictures of Mavis. It was so reassuring to see Mavis happy and well taken care of while I was away. In short, Crystal is fantastic at what she does. She's caring, professional, and loves animals. I'll definitely be calling on her again next time I need a cat sitter.

I'm semi-retired and my children are grown. I'm home most of the time and would love to share our cozy home with your pet in a safe loving environment while you're out of town. I have a quarter acre fenced in backyard, away from any busy streets. We have large & small dog beds in the living room or if you prefer we also do have crate capacity. About: What sets me apart is my ability to tailor my care to the specific needs of each pet. Whether it's training a new puppy with positive reinforcement techniques or providing specialized care for senior pets, I focus on understanding and addressing their individual requirements. My approach includes regular communication with pet owners to ensure their preferences and routines are followed, making the experience as comfortable and seamless as possible for both pets and their families. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I start by ensuring pets are fed, exercised, and given any necessary medications. Throughout the day, I maintain their environment and address any needs that arise. My routine also includes regular updates to pet owners, providing them with peace of mind and ensuring continuity of care. Each week, I review and adjust routines to accommodate any changes in the pet’s health or behavior. In my home, I ensure a pet-friendly environment with secure areas, clean spaces, and safety measures like pet-proofing and monitoring. I also follow a consistent routine to maintain stability and comfort for pets. In a client’s home, I prioritize safety by following their specific instructions and maintaining their pet’s usual environment and routines. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely closed, and I keep the home clean and hazard-free. Regular updates and open communication with the pet owners are key to ensuring their pet’s well-being and their own peace of mind.

I would definitely book Ana again! She was prompt in communication, flexible with scheduling, and had a clean and great space to board my pup for 21 days. This was the longest I've been away from my pup for a while and she sent photos and videos every few days along with an update which I was so grateful for. There were no emergencies or incidents while we were out which just shows how much Ana took care to read the instructions and take the best care of Coral. You should absolutely book Ana!

Every sitter has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

Sitters may also include daily walks in the neighborhood during your dog's boarding stay. You can also request photo and message updates throughout so you can see which local landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their State College home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your State College.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your State College sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
