Home full-time - This is what I do!Centre Hall, PA

I love to spend time with animals. I am known for spoiling my pets. Let me spoil yours! I have a very open availability, I am willing to work around your schedule, and I have my own reliable transportation. I am a kind and respectful dog owner, willing to work with dogs, including offering services such as basic grooming and training. My dog and myself have together earned several AKC titles for obedience, including Canine Good Citzenship and Trick Dog titles. It is important to have a strong behavioral foundation, as it helps combat boredom, improves character, and is a fun bonding opportunity. I have extended experience with senior dogs, and am respectful of their limitations and needs. I have experience administering both oral and suppository medications, diapering and dogs in heat.

I am comfortable caring for many different animals. Living on a farm, I have years of experience with and am comfortable caring for many animals, including cats, dogs, horses, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs, and fish. I am available as much or as little as you need for your animals! Please reach out, because I would love to meet your pets!

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

I hate how on my profile it says “has cats”. According to Rover, you either have none or plural. I have a cat - singular! She is pretty relaxed. If you are worried or unsure about how you dog does with cats, that is okay. She stays in her cat tree 90% of the time, and will not care in the least that I have shut the door, securing her in a room.

Also, while my dog is good with other dogs, if your dog is not good with other dogs I do have backup arrangements for my dog at all times. This is only a solution for shorter boarding stays, and not longer stays. If you are unsure about how your dog will behave, I like to give them a chance to meet, because it is always my preference that my dog stays with me, but I will always do what is in the best interest of both dogs to ensure a stress free stay.

Your dog will come home tired.State College, PA

I have a hound dog who loves to play with other dogs and is very friendly. I have a large yard for potty breaks. I volunteer at Centre County paws so I meet new dogs often and am used to many different sizes. Walks are usually between 1-3 miles and I am used to handling dogs that pull or are very heavy. Dogs are like people to me so having them on the furniture is not a problem. I can also help with a training schedule if you work on manners or tricks a certain amount of time every day. Handling medication is ok for me. I am ok around other animals, and if there is a cat in your home that needs fed as well I can take care of that. I can also look in on reptiles or other small animals. I am available short notice for emergencies and enjoy developing relationships with dogs that I care for.

Home full-time and love all animalsState College, PA

Always willing to negotiate pricing and my schedule for your convenience! I have been working with animals my whole life and I plan to continue for the rest of my life. I have been a zookeeper in the past, and I have also frequently pet sit in my neighborhood. I love all dogs, big and small; and if you ask my friends or family, I'm called the animal whisperer. :) I have a sort of connection with animals that a lot of people lack. I will love your dog as if they are my own, and I will make sure they always feel like a puppy no matter how old they are. I think having relationships with dogs is so rewarding, and it honestly is therapy to me. I am available to pet sit in my home pretty much all day everyday. I am also happy to take all sorts of animals! Just ask. :) Very willing to negotiate my prices as well! Contact me to watch your little loved one today!

Dogs were our gift for friendshipState College, PA

I majored in and taught Biology because of my LOVE of animals. I grew up with dogs and was one of those "I will never have a cat in my house". We now have a rescued Border Collie and 3 rescued "from our wood shed" kittens living with us. My students referred to me as Dr. Doolittle because of my passion for animals and hopefully I fostered an appreciation for the sanctity of life and the ethical care of research animals in each of them. I am recently retired so I can be available full-me. We have a Home in the borough of State College and have lived here the past 24 years. I am an avid jogger and would very much enjoy jogging with your dog is you would be interested.

Loving and energetic, like your pupState College, PA

I have had animals in my home since I was infant, and have never lived without a dog until I moved out for college. I am always looking for the opportunity to be around animals and enjoy lending a helping hand. I am a volunteer at my local animal shelter back home and have experience with walking dogs of various sizes, as well as some training. This winter I fostered a dog for the shelter who was recently adopted! I am perfectly comfortable with dogs of any size and activity level. I enjoy getting out on long walks and going to the local animal-friendly parks. I have a very open schedule and am free to offer your dog, or another pet of yours (cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc.), the companionship it needs while you are away!

Veterinary technician/Shelter staffState college, PA

Over 6 years of veterinary experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, pocket pets, agricultural animals, and wildlife. I work closely with hundreds to thousands of animals every year. Most of my experience comes from working with cats and dogs in a shelter setting.

I can provide basic medical husbandry such as subcutaneous injections or administering medications. Upon request, I will provide these services.

Although not required, I would prefer if animals are crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventatives.

I have worked with just about any dog breed you can think of and I do not exclude providing services for any one of them.

Please note my schedule is subject to change.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. I try to be as flexible as possible in my accommodations.

Kylyn took great care of our dog! Nice big house with fenced-in yard and lots of playtime with other dogs. So much better than a cage at the vet's! We received many photos of the pooch while traveling, which made the kids very happy. We definitely will request Kylyn again!
