“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience! We reached out to Rillan just one day before our trip, and she kindly agreed to help us on such short notice. She took wonderful care of my dog and kept me updated with frequent messages and photos, which truly made me feel at ease the entire time. It was clear from her updates that she is very gentle with poppies and my dog was comfortable, happy, and treated with genuine kindness. I’m very grateful for her care, and I would gladly trust Rillan again in the future.”
“Tess and Curt are amazing with caring for dogs. They have a large wooded and fenced yard which is perfect for dogs to run around all day and know they will not get out and wander free. They sent updates daily, sometimes multiple times daily. Freyja seemed to be at ease and very comfortable with her temporary surroundings and company. I had no worry about the care of my dog. 100% recommend and will use them again upon their availability and my schedule.”

“Katie was awesome! We visited State College to attend a PSU game after Thanksgiving break and were fortunate to find Katie on Rover to care for our Golden Retriever during our stay. Katie was very thorough in preparing for Charlie’s visit and communicated with us regularly before and during his stay. It was obvious that Katie and her family enjoy caring for dogs and Charlie appears to have had a great time! Thank you, Katie!”

About: I’m a huge animal lover, and have grown up with pets my whole life, I’ve had 2 dogs since I was 7, but I’ve also had birds, fish, bunnies, and a tortoise. While I haven’t worked professionally as a sitter, I have years of hands-on experience with pets. Taking care of my own, as well as pet sitting for friends. I’ve taken care of senior dogs as well as puppies, and have volunteered at animal shelters. I’m a recent Penn State grad with a very flexible schedule. I’m at home most days, since I’m studying for some finance exams, so pets in my care are never left alone for long and always have plenty of attention and company I live in a cozy apartment with a private terrace (picture in profile), perfect for some fresh air and sun. I keep a calm, clean home and treat every pet like my own. I provide regular updates and photos so pet parents always know how their fur baby is doing. I live with 2 other roommates who are also animal lovers, one of them also being a verified Rover sitter, so there’s plenty of love and attention for the pets to go around
“Haley was an amazing sitter for our Rottie Velma. She has amazing pet energy that is evident with every encounter. We know our dog was loved and cared for while we were away for 10 days and we would very much request her again for future care!”

“I think I found our go-to dog sitter! My lab Winnie was in great hands with Ryan while I was traveling for work. I received frequent photo updates and could tell my pup really made herself at home. I love how Ryan has kids, lives near a park and works from home - a great combo for peace of mind. Ryan is the first person I'll 'call' next time I need dog care. :)”
“Quick to respond with clear communication. Brooke sent multiple pictures daily to let us know our dog was being well cared for. We look forward to booking with her again!”

“Jessica and her family were amazing sitters for our Labrador "Bella!" We couldn't have asked for a nicer or kinder family to entrust our fury family member. Bella loved her time with Jessica leaving my wife and I comforted to know she was in good care! Highly recommend Jessica for any pet sitting services. She took the time to periodically send videos and photos during Bella's stay. This further secured our trust that Bella was in good hands and allowed my wife and I to enjoy our vacation. We will definitely use Jessica again!”

“Jodi was wonderful! Took great care of our two puppers over a long weekend. Sent daily photos, kept in close communication with us through the weekend, and was super accommodating and flexible schedule wise. Highly recommend!! Thanks so much, Jodi!!”

“Katrina was an absolute blessing while watching our senior dog, Fudge. We were away for our daughter's graduation and she made sure we could be fully present without a second of worry. She took Fudge on gentle walks tailored to his pace, and constantly sent the sweetest videos and photos that had us smiling the whole weekend. You can tell she truly loves senior dogs — she was patient, attentive, and treated Fudge like her own. Returning to a happy, relaxed pup was the best graduation gift we could ask for. We trust Katina 100% and will be booking her again. If you have a senior dog, she’s your person!”

“Jana did a great job with looking after our cat, Sook. She was very accommodating with our cat, who suddenly and unexpectedly became unwell. She very kindly looked after him and cleaned up after him, and even came in for an extra visit on short notice when we were really concerned. She gave us lots of updates and pictures and became a real friend to our cat—it seems like he has truly bonded with her. We can’t thank Jana enough for her love and care for our cat!”

About: I have taken care of cats since I was very little. My first was a barn cat who transitioned to living indoors. I have taken care of kittens and senior cats, and everything in between. I am not afraid of a few scratches if the fur baby comes around in the end!

“Katie and family took the best care of my puppy during her first ever day care outing. She had a blast playing in the spacious fenced back yard and Katie was nice enough to send me a cute update photo while I was at work. Skye was happily asleep before I was even down their street and heading home. I would definitely schedule with her again!”

“If you’re looking for the absolute best care for your dog, look no further than the amazing Tess & Kurt! From the moment we met them, it was clear how much they genuinely love dogs. They took the time to get to know my pup’s personality and quirks, and introduced her to their dog in a very patient and understanding way. Their communication was fantastic—they provided hourly updates (which they didn’t have to do) and the cutest photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My dog was so happy and relaxed when I returned, I could tell she’d been showered with attention. What really sets them apart is their kindness and patience. I can’t recommend them highly enough—trustworthy, caring, and truly the nicest dog sitters ever. Chili can’t wait for his next stay! Thank you both for everything! 🐾”

“We needed a place for our dog to stay for the day while we attended a university event, and Rillan took wonderful care of him. Our dog had a happy and enjoyable day with her. Thank you so much for your kindness and great care.”

About: With 20 years of dog sitting experience, I have a lifelong passion for caring for dogs of all ages. I started dog sitting when I was 14 and have since provided overnight and drop-in services. Having grown up with dogs, I've helped train four puppies and nannied for a family with a senior dog for four years. My experience includes administering medication and catering to the unique needs of both puppies and senior dogs and everything in between. I am dedicated to offering reliable, compassionate, and professional care for your furry friends. I work remotely part-time, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility each day to provide dedicated care, attention, and companionship for your furry friend. When caring for pets, I prioritize safety and well-being. Dogs are always taken out on a leash to ensure their safety. I assume all dogs are not friendly unless told otherwise, ensuring a cautious and respectful approach to each new dog. I am knowledgeable about foods that are toxic to dogs and take great care to prevent them from consuming anything harmful. I believe strongly in positive reinforcement, rewarding good behavior rather than punishing the bad, to foster a trusting and happy relationship with the dogs I care for.
“Haley was awesome. Needed a dog sitter while I was in town for my sister's graduation ceremony. Haley was very communicative and flexible, very close to campus too which made the logistics of the whole thing a breeze. Pups seemed to have had a lot of fun with their visit!”

About: Hi! I’m a college student at Penn state university with 4–5 years of experience caring for pets. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, bathe, walk, and love their animals like my own. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with all kinds of pets. Thank you for considering me to care for your amazing companion! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially while I’m home for the summer and have a more open schedule. I plan my days around my availability (11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays) and make sure I have enough time to give each pet the attention, care, and playtime they need. Whether it's feeding, grooming, or just keeping a cat company, I treat it like a priority not a side task. I also stay flexible so I can adjust to each pet’s unique routine and needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize creating a calm and familiar environment by following the pet’s routine as closely as possible. I pay close attention to body language and other cues to understand how the pet is feeling, and I give them the space or affection they need based on their comfort level. I know that trust takes time, especially with animals, and I’m always patient, gentle, and respectful of their boundaries. My goal is to make each pet feel safe, seen, and cared for while their family is away.
“My dog, Mr. Cow Cow had a wonderful day with Sarah! She immediately made him feel right at home. he had fun playing with Sarah‘s dog and Sarah sent me updates and pictures along the way.I was worried he might not want to leave when I came back to pick him up! 🤣😂”

“Ryan is great. He is responsive and takes good care of Leo. Ryan's puppy, Charlie, and Leo have become friends. Leo is looking forward to future visits with Ryan and Charlie.”

About: I have taken care of a large variety of dogs since I was in middle school, outside of the 3 I have grown up with. I have always been reliable to feed, walk, play and give potty breaks according to each dog’s needs. I’ve worked with dogs ranging from 5 lbs to 150 lbs, and dogs of all ages. I work part time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals! I mainly work in the afternoons, but my house always has someone available for constant socializing. I ensure your dog is never bored with plenty of play time and attention. I am happy to take your pet to a nearby dog park as well, if that is something you are comfortable with.

Until I find the right job for me, my availability is very open. I currently don’t have any pets in my home. I prefer not to stay at my clients homes to watch their dog. “Rochelle was awesome! She is really communicative and goes above and beyond with every walk and drop-in. My mini golden doodle can be a handful, but Rochelle took great care of her, from walking out her energy to playing with her and her toys to giving her medication. Can’t recommend Rochelle highly enough!”

About: I have taken care of animals for nearly 10 years and have experience with all kinds of dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I am a pet owner myself, so I know how important it is to feel that your loved one is in good hands. I am always sure to follow directions closely, and do everything I can to ensure the animals have a safe and enjoyable experience. I'm currently a graduate student and have a pretty flexible schedule. For the summer, I am generally available any morning and evening during the weekday + any time on the weekend. I follow the care instructions, take note of the living area, monitor the animal for any signs of stress or illness, and provide them the attention they need, whether that be playing, petting, or spending quiet time with them.
About: I've been caring for pets of neighbors, family, and friends since I was a child. I love and care for animals of all breeds, sizes, and abilities. I’m currently interning part-time and will be in office every other day, as reflected in my Rover calendar. Outside of this, I am open to care for your pets! I understand that all animals have different boundaries and personalities, and I take that into account with each animal I care for. I am gentle with all pets and ensure that their safety and comfort is my top priority.
About: I have a lot of experience taking care of pets including dogs and cats of family and friends. I also have 3 pets of my own including a dog and 2 cats. About: Before coming to college, I dog-sat for many of my neighbors! They would go out of town for a few days to a few weeks and I would do drop-in visits in their home and take the dogs for walks. Dogs have ranged from 1 year to 14 years old, and all have been different breeds. I am a student at Penn State, so my schedule varies day to day. I am normally free earlier in the mornings, I have a little break around lunch time, and I have free evenings! Message me for more specifics! I have done drop-in visits to take care of pets before. You set the rules! In the past, I have used garage codes or been given a key and gone in to let the dog out, and spent some time with them so they are not lonely throughout the day!
About: I’ve had the joy of being the on-call sitter for a family for over 10 years, taking care of their special needs cats, feral cats, and senior dog. I have walked the dogs of my senior neighbors for years before owning my own sweet black lab. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, senior or puppy. I’m currently working part time after moving to Minnesota from Illinois. I am available in the mornings to early afternoon through the week and weekend. I am a reliable sitter with years of experience in emergency medicine, I do not practice in the field anymore but I am someone you can trust and count on. I can easily crate your dog if provided!
About: My mom is a zoologist, so I was raised learning how to treat all animals with the best care. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special food conditions. I know that our pets our just as much part of the family as humans, and I promise to provide them with the best and most loving care as if they were my own. I am currently a full-time college student with an internship that typically keeps me busy in the afternoons. However, my schedule is flexible with mornings and evenings typically being more open. From experience with my own pets, I find that dogs and cats miss their owners just as much as their owners miss them when they’re away, if not more. That being said, after completing any responsibilities the family has asked of me, I always take some extra time to hang out with the pets to make sure they feel loved while missing their family. I also find that the families appreciate picture and text updates of how their pets are doing while they’re gone. I always make sure to do that so the owners can trust their pets are in good hands.
About: Ever since we adopted my dog in 2019, I have been obsessed with caring for animals. I have taken my dog on at least 100 walks in his lifetime so far, and I don’t plan to stop anytime soon! Additionally, I have been requested by multiple neighbors and friends to dog sit and cat sit for them. I have been dog sitting and catsitting for the same people for about 4 years now, so I would say I have a lot of experience!! I currently work part time at Kohls, so my schedule is a little all over the place. However, I am willing to set a strict availability in order to balance both jobs. Ideally, I can work during the week, but if weekends are needed, I can make some changes. I am very much a rule follower when it comes to watching pets in a clients home. I try to stay by the animals as much as possible to make sure they aren’t getting up to anything, while also staying in the common areas to respect my clients home. I love playing with the animals and giving tons of pets, so don’t worry about your pets being bored!
About: Hi! My name is Katie! I am a student at Penn State and a lover of all creatures, large and small! I have had family dogs throughout my childhood. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, breeds with longer coats, and both large and small breeds. I also have experience with handling rescues of various sizes with different triggers. I also have grown up with cats and have experience with all ages and sizes too! Additionally, I have experience with caring for pet rabbits. I have had several over the years. **I do not have experience with disabled or dogs with special needs, however I am willing to learn and accommodate whenever necessary! I am currently working part-time and am a part-time student at Penn State (student status subject to change). I will have plenty of time to tend to your fur babies! I cannot provide boarding services at this time, so all my pet care services will be at or around your home. I can walk the dogs, play with them, make sure they are properly fed and watered, and take them outside regularly.
“Dave was an excellent caretaker for our dog while we were on vacation! He was always timely with the scheduled walks and took great photos and provided plenty of feedback for each of their interactions. Our dog is very weary of new people, especially men, but he warmed up to Dave almost instantly and eagerly awaited his visits. We would definitely hire Dave again and recommend him to other pet parents!”

“Will is a great dog walker with the extra bonus of being polite and respectful. Amilyn took right to him and I am very happy to know she is safe and well protected when she is out.”

About: I’ve always been a dog family, growing up with always 2 dogs or more in my family households. When I was 20, I adopted my soul dog Dusty, who was extremely dog reactive. He showed me a lot of how to deal with reactive dogs, especially on walks and dealing with strangers who may not get that their dog may be friendly, but yours may need that extra space to be comfortable. I now also own two cats, adopted from the local shelter Paws and they have become my life. They are very clingy but also shy towards strangers. So I also very understand if you own some shy cats, I would love them just the same! I currently live all year in State College, work full time but still have plenty of time for my cats and still have more time for others. Just let me know 24 hours ahead or more and it can happen! I am fully comfortable crating all kinds of dogs, walking any breed, or dealing with any shy temperamental cat. I really love animals with all my heart, and you have my word when you’re not home- you don’t need to worry about your furry loved one back home.
“Bailee was patient and great with my very anxious dog. She provided lots of photos and feedback about her walk with him. Will definitely use her for future walks!”

“Quick to respond with clear communication. Brooke sent multiple pictures daily to let us know our dog was being well cared for. We look forward to booking with her again!”

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, at least 8 over the years, plus 9 puppies we rehomed to better lives. My mom and I were always the type to stop for any dog that needed help, so caring for them just became second nature to me. I was always the go-to in my family when it came to looking after them, no matter how many we had at once. Your dog will be in hands that genuinely love them. I have a flexible schedule so I'm available pretty much anytime. If you're able to book it, I'm always there and ready. I care for pets in my home and treat them like my own. I make sure they're comfortable, well fed, and never left feeling alone. I offer walks, boarding, and daycare.
“Madison was such a great sitter for our doggy Sky! Our flight home even got unexpectedly cancelled and she made accommodations to extend her stay decreasing my stress over the situation. Madison even gave me updates on how sky was doing and my dog came home happy and not nervous at all, which i appreciate in a sitter. I would highly recommend her for any future dog sitting because she was absolutely wonderful!”

“Left my cat with alone for the first time with this awesome pet sitter. So personable and communicates awesome and with cute pictures:) will only book with her moving forward due to such success!!”
About: What sets me apart is my ability to tailor my care to the specific needs of each pet. Whether it's training a new puppy with positive reinforcement techniques or providing specialized care for senior pets, I focus on understanding and addressing their individual requirements. My approach includes regular communication with pet owners to ensure their preferences and routines are followed, making the experience as comfortable and seamless as possible for both pets and their families. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I start by ensuring pets are fed, exercised, and given any necessary medications. Throughout the day, I maintain their environment and address any needs that arise. My routine also includes regular updates to pet owners, providing them with peace of mind and ensuring continuity of care. Each week, I review and adjust routines to accommodate any changes in the pet’s health or behavior. In my home, I ensure a pet-friendly environment with secure areas, clean spaces, and safety measures like pet-proofing and monitoring. I also follow a consistent routine to maintain stability and comfort for pets. In a client’s home, I prioritize safety by following their specific instructions and maintaining their pet’s usual environment and routines. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely closed, and I keep the home clean and hazard-free. Regular updates and open communication with the pet owners are key to ensuring their pet’s well-being and their own peace of mind.
“Our dog seemed to fall in love with Kevin. We also think he came home with better manners than we left him! Kevin had good communication with us both in arranging the care and while we were away. We definitely hope to leave our dog with Kevin in the future.”

About: I have cared for many different types of animals since I was a child. Dogs, cats, bunnies, rats and hamsters. Fostered and lived with many dogs. I currently have dogs and cats. They are the joy of my life especially since the kids (and grand dogs) have grown and moved. Couldn’t imagine life without them. I have two dogs and 2 cats to keep the fur guests company. Lots of play time in the fenced back yard. And snuggles on the couch.
