About: I have 18 years of experience taking care of pets including large and small dogs, puppy and senior dogs, birds, cats and fish. I currently take care of 2 dogs in my family, one large and one small, and the large one has special needs. I have experience administering oral medication and subcutaneous injections, and have had many years of reading domestic animal behavior . I have treated dogs and cats abroad at a shelter in Thailand so I have some experience with shy and nervous animals as well. During my visits, I like to focus on mental enrichment and some fun energetic play time! I’m available for In House Sitting (long term and short term), and available generally 9am-6pm each day, depending on your pups needs. I am always willing to be flexible and will try to find the best time that fits your needs! I make sure that your pet’s needs are met while giving them some love and attention while you are away! Walks are my favorite, but I also enjoy chilling on a couch snuggling and watching a show. I will also clean up if any messes are made (as a pet parent I know this all too well).

About: Like many here, furry family members have perpetually been in my life. Additionally, I have extensive experience with pets outside of my home. I recently left my career of 5yrs managing a high capacity pet boarding facility to return to college. My first job was caretaker at a private animal rescue and have volunteered at many others. I gained experience with a myriad of creatures including: dogs, cats, small creatures, horses, and even a pet pig. Between those jobs, I would regularly petsit as well. Working with animals on both a large and small scale has given me experience in handling skittish pets, senior pets, emergency situations, medication administration, and more. Animals have always been a passion of mine, and I hope to meet some of your fur family members! I am a pre-med student. At the moment, my schedule is in a transition period as the new semester kicks off. I'm a full time student and I attend clinical hours, while I'm not with your pup. I live near many parks, trails, and have a dog park in my neighborhood. Hiking is a hobby of mine, and I would gladly take your fur family member on an adventure with me. Safety is a priority for me, so the method of securing and leashing your pet will be discussed on a case by case basis. For example, I will ensure that a loose collar is adjusted, harness is fitted, and/or skittish pets have a backup system.

About: I helped raise my dog and my girlfriend’s dogs from puppyhood, and I also care for my 14-year-old dog back home. I’m experienced with both energetic pups and senior pets who need extra love and patience. Currently I am working part-time and that is in the mornings. So have a lot of time on my hands at the moment. Whatever works best for you! I live in an apartment, so lots of walks around the surrounding neighborhood or the little dog park next to me. I live just south of downtown Raleigh.

About: Animal lover at heart. I love taking care of dogs and cats! I have taken care of family members dogs. I have two cats myself who I adore. I enjoy sharing my care and services to all the pets in need. I currently work full time however I have availability couple days during the week and on the weekends to provide animal care. About: I have cared for dogs for the past 9 years from all walks of life. From dogs that are at the end of their life stage and need a little extra TLC to young bloods that need to be taken out for nice long walks to be tuckered out. I have cared for fish, guinea pigs, chicks and fully grown chickens I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of spare free time to give each pet that care they deserve! I have reliable transportation so that will also not be an issue I can care for pets in my home or the owners home. There are parks near where I live and I have a back yard that would allow the dogs to feel at home. I can also care in their own respective location with walks around the neighborhood, feeding, checking to ensure the water bowl is full and picking up after the pet.

About: I have been taking care of animals for others since I was in early high school. I am studying animal science at N.C. State and am super knowledgeable about dogs and cats and love animals! I work part time at a educational unit for N.C. State, aside from that I do research sometimes. Pet care can be fit anywhere around these during almost any day of the week I’m all about fitting in the boundaries of the family whose animal I am taking care of. I treat them like they are my own and love taking them to where I live or going in house!

About: I've had dogs most of my life. I have experience with chihuahuas, heelers, labs, pit bulls, great danes, and even a wolf-hybrid. I have an Australian heeler now who was fairly reactive when first adopted. Through lots of patience and training, he's learned several tricks and coping mechanisms that help. I live by an excellent park where we go on lots of walks to help get energy out. I am experienced in leash walking and training dogs as well. Feel free to inquire if you have any questions! I work from home as a scientific writer and spend all day with my animals, which they mostly spend napping or going for a walk. I have a fenced in yard as well as two cats and a 4 year old heeler, all of which are friendly and well socialized. I have plenty of toys and a crate if needed.

About: With a mom who's a dog trainer and avid canine professional, I grew up around dogs! My first job was as a kennel manager at a boarding facility, where I would care for 25+ dogs at any given time. After working there for two summers, I started frequently dog and house sitting for multiple families and have been ever since. I absolutely love dogs, and I'm an extremely conscientious caregiver. My husband and I have two dogs of our own - Calvin (a 9-year-old Golden Retriever) and Steve (a 12-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd). They are our world! We're always on walks, at the park, or cuddling on the couch. I cannot wait to care for the many great dogs in the Triangle area! I have a very open and flexible schedule at the moment, so I have plenty of time to spend on visits or walks. Any specific timing request can be accommodated (especially in this summer heat)! I'm a very mindful individual and stay aware of my surroundings - on walks I choose not to wear headphones so I can stay alert of other people and dogs. I can (and have) handle any reactive or stronger willed pups. There's also plenty of good sniffs to be had, so I like to take each walk at that dog's particular pace. At your home, I will play with your dog in the yard or organize enrichment activities. And, of course, make sure they get the most attention. This depends on each dog's preferences which I'm intuitive and flexible about!
