About: I've had pets all my life and I lived on a farm for 18 years. I've taken care of cats, dogs, rodents, birds, fish, horses, cows, goats and pigs. I love any animal and will take care of yours as if it were mine. I am looking for a part time job to supplement my income but also because my daughter just left and took her Aussie with her. I have 3 cats and love them dearly but I miss having a dog. I don't want to own a dog myself so I have flexibility in travel but I would like to interact with dogs and other cats. Kind of seems like a perfect thing for me to do since I have the time and the experience.

“Jenna was quick to respond and provide a picture at the start and end of her walk with my pup! At the end of the walk I would have appreciated an overview of how the walk went with a bit more detail eg. he went #2 and it was solid, he mostly sniffed around, etc.”

About: I have enjoyed housesitting and caring for animals. I started caring for the pets of my friends and family members. I am excited to meet your pets and get to know them! I have a pretty flexible schedule, especially in the evenings and on weekends. I am happy to adjust scheduling that best suit my client’s needs. I always aim to follow pet owner’s instructions and wishes. It is important to me to maintain my clients’ high standards for taking care of their pets.

About: I always bring good energy, patience, love and respect for all animals. I have had experience caring for two litters of puppies that my English Springer Spaniel had until they were adopted out. Together, my girlfriend and I have 3 dogs. They are like our children-extremely spoiled. Walks everyday, homemade food and treats, very well pampered, and given around the clock attention. Romeo, our Aussie mix, has Pannus and needs administered eye drops twice a day. Our senior dog, Abrams, has Addison's disease and needs daily medication as well as a monthly steroid shot. I am very comfortable handling dogs with medical conditions. It is a dream of ours to one day have a dog sanctuary. We hope to one day be able to make the world a better place and create a safe space for many dogs and animals. I have an open schedule during the week except Sunday (depending on the time). I have been a chef for the past 20 years, but have decided I want to change careers to something more meaningful like working with animals. I take safety for my pets very seriously. My dogs are walked every single day and get lots of mental stimulation. I take a lot of pride in the way my dogs are treated and hold myself to the same standard with anyone else's fur baby. I will always make sure that your pet is comfortable and relaxed while they wait for you!

About: I've taken care of everything from dogs and cats to reptiles, rodents, and invertebrates! On top of growing up with a small army of Jack Russels and having my own dog (an anxious Italian Greyhound), I also frequently drop in on and walk my friend's Lab. I have the least experience with birds, though I have still pet-sat a couple! I also have experience administering oral medication and providing palliative care. My day-to-day varies but is typically very free as I care for my brothers in the mornings and evenings and have volunteering shifts on Mondays. I am usually only completely unavailable on Mondays! My highest priority is always the safety and comfort of your pets, and I treat them as though they're my own. I'm extremely careful about things like bloat and have a strict timer for food and water before and after exercise/playtime. In general, I am extremely careful, but put lots of time and effort into making sure your little (or big) guys have fun!

“Celine was great from the first visit. She let me know of a concern for my little dog and the dewclaw that was bothering her. She let the dog go at her own pace and my dog was happy when I got home. And we trimmed the nails the next day!”

“Gigi is fantastic! She is really communicative, gives detailed updates, is flexible and is overall really great to work with. She takes excellent care of my pup on her walks and is always mindful of my pup's safety and needs!”

“Fantastic with a very energetic dog and wild Utah weather. Very patient with the pup as his stomach and taste for random things on the ground change.”

“I know my dogs are safe and loved when they are with Bridgette! It’s so relieving knowing that while I’m at work my dogs are getting exercise and love and attention. I can be open with her about what’s going on medically with them and she provides another set of eyes to track and document.”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my hands-on experience with dogs who require extra patience, understanding, and care. I’ve worked with dogs dealing with behavioral issues—whether it's reactivity, anxiety, or fear-based behaviors—and I understand the importance of building trust and maintaining a calm, structured environment. I’m also experienced in senior dog care, including administering medications, helping with mobility challenges, and giving them the extra love and gentleness they deserve in their golden years. My goal is always to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared-for while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I have a flexible schedule, and my own dog, Harper! I'm currently in school and not working a traditional job, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. Whether it's daytime visits, overnight stays, or last-minute bookings, I’m able to accommodate a wide range of needs. I genuinely enjoy spending my time around animals, so integrating pet care into my daily life is something I look forward to, not something I have to fit in. My focus is on making sure each visit is safe, engaging, and tailored to the pet’s needs. During walks, I make sure dogs get the right level of exercise for their age, breed, and energy level, whether that’s a brisk walk or a more relaxed stroll with plenty of sniffing. I always prioritize leash safety and pay close attention to each dog’s comfort and behavior throughout the walk. For check-ins, I make sure pets are fed (if needed), have fresh water, get potty breaks, and receive lots of attention and playtime. I also take care to follow any specific instructions from the owner and always do a quick check around the home to ensure everything is as it should be. Communication is important to me, so I provide updates and photos after each visit to keep owners in the loop and at ease.

“Melia was able to walk my dog while I was out and he had a great time! Melia provided photos of the walk and was also able to accommodate feeding him after the walk, which was a huge help for us! Thanks Melia!”

“Reagan was wonderful. She was on time which is a huge deal to me. Winnie took to her right away. She definitely has a way with dogs. She's very gentle and kind but yet I could tell she took control by the way Winnie was behaving and I appreciate that. I am hiring her for everyday this week. You can trust your pet with her 100 percent! Thanks Reagan”

About: Coming from a family of 3 dogs and 2 cats, I have always had a knack for pets and pet care. The dream of 4 year old me was to become a vet so I could further care for our tiny friends, but that was stopped short when my skill set was better equipped for engineering. As an environmental engineer, my knack for the earth and its creatures runs strong. I hope to spend time with your creatures, showing them a cool new stick on a walk, or giving them happy head scratches. I currently work full time, but am willing to work my schedule around if needed. Weekends and evenings are pretty free! Overall, a little communication and I’m willing to make whatever work. I currently cannot care for pets in my own home, and prefer not to stay overnight at a clients home, but I am willing to do what is needed throughout the day or night by stopping in! With clear instructions, I’ll be able and willing to do what is asked for me to make sure the pets are under the best care and feel just as comfortable as possible!

“Devin has been doing a great job watching my 40 lb lab mix four times a week for the last several weeks! She has been very responsive, responsible and loving to my dog. Highly recommend her!”

About: I have been caring for my own pets for over 10 years, and throughout that time have cared for pets of family and friends whenever needed. I am currently pet-mom to 2 cats and 1 dog (cattle dog). I am happy to care for pets of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I have professional experience caring for humans of all ages (infants-seniors), and am excited to use those caretaking skills to love on your furry friends! I work an office job during the week, but my position allows for flexibility in hours/scheduling. I can do walks/check-ins during the day (depending on location), and any level of care in the evenings/overnight. Weekends are most flexible, and I can provide any of my listed services. I live in a townhome with ample green space for walking, though it does not have a fenced yard. Our home has 3 levels with a furnished basement, allowing me to keep your pets separate from my own as needed (all cats will be kept separate, dogs can be kept separate as requested or needed). For services in your own home, I have my own transportation and am happy to work out a schedule that works for us both :)
