About: I had a maltipoo who I cared for for 13 years so I am confident in caring for pups like her. I’ve also had to dog-sit some friends’ dogs who’d I bring for walks, play in the yard, and fill food and water bowls for them while gone! I generally work 3 days a week so I am looking to care and walk dogs for a couple other days during my week to fill my days. I will make sure to close all doors that I have entered and make sure the dog is back in the house before leaving. About: I've loved animals my whole life and have been around cats in one way or another for most of my life. I grew up with multiple cats and I've been taking care of my cat Cole since adopting her in 2018 as a kitten. I've been volunteering at a cat shelter for several years as a socializer and love visiting as many cats as I can when I'm there (I always stay longer than my shift). I love them dearly, always want what's best for them, and would treat your cat with the same care concern I'd treat for my own. I'd be happy to provide drop-in visits for feedings/etc or to provide your cat with some play/social time! I love meeting new cats and taking in their unique quirks! While I've had a lot more exposure to felines, I'd also happily walk/spend time with your dog. I've had a lot of good experiences with them as well - me and my landlady's dog are good pals! I'm between jobs at the moment, so I am fairly flexible in terms of availability with some notice. Sunday is my day for volunteering, though I can potentially swap my shift in an urgent situation. About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a kid, so I’ve truly seen it all — from middle-of-the-night puppy potty breaks to caring for senior dogs who need that little extra love and attention. I’ve raised both male and female dogs (my family dog Daisy definitely has the sass!), and I’ve always been the go-to feeder, walker, and snuggler in my household. In college I also aided in training future guide dogs and vet dogs, so I understand the importance of training and care. I have also volunteered at pet rescues. Routine is important to me — your dog will be walked, fed, and cared for on a consistent schedule. With the free time I have outside of work, they’ll get plenty of cuddles, playtime, and love. My apartment has a strict pet policy, so all dogs living here are screened to ensure they’re non-aggressive and well-behaved. I have several great walking paths right outside for regular bathroom breaks and exercise. If your dog is crate trained (or in the process of learning), I can easily accommodate that and help reinforce crate training routines.
