“Liz is awesome. Super responsive and clearly loves all dogs. She had just come off an extended stay with another client but that didn’t stop her from making Jack her #1 priority. She ensured she arrived at our house on the first day soon after we left, she was clearly home with him a lot and she double-checked what time we expected to be home on the last day before leaving. The house was super tidy when we got home and Jack, while happy to see us, clearly had a great few days with Liz. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough (except during times we want her to stay with ours again 😁).”

“We had an emergency and Michael was great with all our clan. We have German Shep who recently had surgery so he had to watch him closely, and a totally eat the carpet crazy husky pup visiting for him to manage and he did great!! He followed instructions even setting timer to let puppy out at potty time to avoid accidents in the house! Kept them calm and under control. Gave them treats as promised and made me able to attend an event with total peace of mind. Would ? recommend him for dog sitting in your house and will use again!”

“Luna didn’t miss a beat while I was away. It was the longest I had ever left her. Zoe went above and beyond to ease my worries with the cutest pics and daily updates. I still have no idea how she gets her to walk so well!? For sure a dog whisperer. When I returned Luna was so happy and well taken care of, very obvious she loves her girl time with Zoe! My apartment was spotless, it was like I had never left. Zoe is the best! Lucky to have such a great sitter:) Luna is already looking forward to the next visit!”

“Deana was amazing. She was wonderful with our 1 year old golden retriever, and went way above and beyond in house and pet sitting for us while we were away. She took our dog for extra walks and sent tons of pictures of the two of them having fun, and playing together. Deana has an amazingly positive and warm personality, and it is quite obvious that she is an animal lover. We were at complete peace while away knowing our dog was being given such great care. We were amazed at how clean she left our home when we returned, and her communication the entire time was excellent. I highly recommend Deana. She is simply outstanding!”

“Emily watched our dog Otis in our home for 4 days. She communicated with us everyday and was quick to respond. Our dog Otis can be shy around new people and he warmed up to Emily right away. Your dogs and your house are in good hands with Emily, we would definitely trust her to watch Otis again!”

“Sara was a fantastic house & dog sitter for us! Our little man Atlas is 16 and doesn't do well outside his own environment, so having a trustworthy sitter come stay at our place is important. From the getgo Sara was quick to communicate and it was great that she wanted to meet in person to make sure it was a good fit. Atlas was super happy when he first met Sara, and they seemed to have a good time together. We got proactive daily updates with pictures, and she asked clarifying questions on a couple of things to ensure she was meeting our needs/requests. The house was super clean when we returned just like we left it. We left for the airport earlier than her arrival (as planned), and although she was running a little late to arrive at our house, she was transparent about it and offered to stay longer on the final day to make up for it, which was appreciated. Overall, she was wonderful, saved our Thanksgiving plans by responding to a last-minute request, and we'd absolutely have her back if/when the need arises! Thanks Sara!”
About: 🥰 Now retired from Corporate America- I finally get to do what I love!! If you’re looking for Quality, Responsible and Experienced care for your pets- look no further! I have 45+ years experience with dogs, cats and horses. 🐴 🐈 🐶 Prior Volunteer @Agoura Animal Shelter I’ve been in love with pets since I was born. I’ve had many dogs over the years. I was raised with Dobermans, and had 2 of my own as an adult, in addition to a German Shepherd, Husky, Lab mix, 2 Min Pins and now, a Terrier/mix rescued from the meat trade in So. Korea. I’ve had one or more cats at a time since the day I was born (feral), and at one point, we rescued a pregnant kitty that had 4 kittens, which we kept and all lived long and cherished lives. My last kitty, “Little Girl”, was found by the grooms at the barn @ 3 weeks old. She was so wild, that she chewed the nipple off the bottle, and the Vet said it would never work! She recently passed at 19 years old, from CKD/Hyperthyroidism, which we both valiantly fought for 4 yrs. She was my soul cat- that I will miss for the rest of my life.💔 I’m an Equestrian- Horses are my passion! I’ve competed and owned horses for over 30 years, and have extensive knowledge of their care. I’m Insured and Pet 1st Aid/CPR Certified. I have experience medicating pets (ie:cats with Hyperthyroidism/CKD, etc dogs with pancreatitis, etc). Specialize in Senior pets. I know what it’s like to have to leave your beloved fur-babies home, especially if they aren’t feeling well! Whether they’re in tip top health, or in need of a little extra attention due to a medical condition, You can rest assured, that they will have the best care! I’m home full time now, and so available to meet the commitment and responsibilities of caring for your special fur-babies. Because feeding/walking and playing take time and attention- and every pet has its own unique and individual needs, sometimes they just need a little extra love and companionship❤️ Safety is my #1 priority! I will always ensure that your pets are safe, your home is secure and there is nothing within reach that could cause them harm. Additionally, walks are always done considering the environment, other pets and their proximity to your pet and the demeanor of both. No risks are ever taken.

About: I am new to Rover, but I am not new to animal care! I have 20 years of experience as a pet parent, and hands on experience as a volunteer and staff member at an animal rescue where my responsibilities included walking, feeding, daily care, basic grooming, playtime and enrichment for large and small dogs and animals with special needs. Should your pet(s) have medical needs, I am proficient in: • Oral medication administration • Ointments and drops medication administration • Injected medication administration • Subcutaneous (SubQ) fluids therapy • First Aid As a dog mom, I too have been through the process of finding a house and/or pet sitter I trust. I understand the importance of communication and updates, cute pictures and/or videos, and most importantly knowing that your home is being taken care of and your pet(s) are safe and secure and in the loving care of a competent and reliable sitter. Whether caring for clients' pets or assisting with rescue dogs, my commitment to animal welfare is unwavering. 🐾 As your house and pet sitter, during my stay, I will be a reliable presence in your home. “Martha was exceptional with our dogs! She arrived on time, communicated promptly, and handled everything with professionalism and care. She took great care of our senior dog and our younger, more energetic pups, managing their different needs effortlessly. One of our dogs, who has anxiety around new people, warmed up to her quickly—a testament to Martha's patience and understanding. We also came home to a well-maintained house, which was a pleasant bonus. It's clear she genuinely loves and understands dogs. Highly recommend Martha to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate caregiver for their pets. She’s fantastic!”

Shaun S.
“I have known Shaun for over 35 years. As an avid pet owner, and person who loves all types of animals, supports animal rescue organizations, my standards are high. I am delighted to share with you my personal experience as it pertains to Shaun’s character which demonstrates that she is highly qualified for the important job of caregiving for one’s four legged family member. Over the years, I have relied on Shaun to help care for many of my animals, including one of my dogs that had special needs. My dog was unable to use his hind quarters due to degenerative myelopathy and needed several devices to help support him. I always counted on Shaun when I needed extra help caring for him. She is very reliable, devoted and trustworthy. Additionally, I have seen Shaun go through extraordinary measures to provide around the clock care for some of her beloved fur babies when they were ailing and needed medicine in the middle of the night. She is devoted, compassionate and knowledgeable. I’ve observed Shaun’s enthusiasm to establish a bond and trust with my animals which includes my horses. Her extensive knowledge with horses has provided me with the education I needed so I could properly care for my own horses. I’m excited that Shaun is committing herself full time to giving others the gift of genuine love and compassion that my animals have had over the years.”

Kristen is absolutely amazing and the exact person you want to care for your fur babies when you are away. From the initial meet and greet to the entire 3 night stay, she was responsive, caring and attentive to our pups unique needs. We will 100% use her again!!!

We found Emily to be very dependable and friendly with both of our dogs. We appreciate that she did such a conscientious job working with our stranger anxious Lab--it was great that she was able to have him walk with her on her first outing! We were happy that she communicated progress and sent pictures during her stay and we look forward to her being with them again.
Gabrielle was fantastic with our dogs. We have a senior dog who requires extra care, and she went above and beyond to meet his needs. All of our dogs were happy and well cared for under her watch. We provided her a detailed daily itinerary for each dog, and she followed it to the letter. She also stayed overnight to ensure the dogs were comfortable. When we returned, the house was spotless, the dogs were healthy and content, and the backyard was completely clean of dog waste. Gabrielle was indeed a godsend, and we will hire her again!
Trish was great with our large dog, Izzy, and not intimidated even though Izzy was barking at her. This was our first time using Rover and we realize we need to have our sitter interact more with Izzy before the dog sitting. Trish came over a couple times before to get acquainted and really tried to work with Izzy.
