“We have a dog that is our whole world and we were in need of help boarding our “fur baby” for a trip we couldn’t reschedule, after we removed her from an established boarding facility when our dog suffered a brutal attack by another dog. We were petrified to leave our dog, with anyone ever again, but knew we would have to. So research began, prayers went up and then we came across Rover. After more research on sitters with Rover we came across Elaine’s and Marty’s bio. So we reached out to Elaine and Marty who seemed like a great fit for our needs. Wow! Elaine and Marty respond instantly. They were willing to have us come to their home for a meet and greet with our sweet Kaylee and we talked with them for over an hour and saw where she would stay so we could make sure the environment was safe and appropriate for her. We were still nervous, as this couple were strangers to us, but decided to take the leap to trust that they would care for our girl like she was their own. Let’s just say our dog is spoiled by us, and lacked nothing with them. We especially love that they are clearly animal lovers and that they board one dog at a time. Because we were a late board, in regard to our trip, they were still willing to take her as long as we were ok with a 24 hour overlap with another client’s little, social dog. Ours is super social too and we all (both dog’s owners and, sitter) agreed to this arrangement. When we returned to Elaine’s and Marty’s home to drop off Kaylee, as soon as they opened their door Kaylee pranced right in like she owned the place, tail wagging, and very comfortable to see her new friends again. She was so well taken care of! Elaine and Marty gave us daily updates with pictures and videos which made us so happy and helped us relax while we were away. Elaine and Marty exceeded all of our expectations! They even gave us a framed photo with two pictures of Kaylee as a thank you for letting her stay with them. We couldn’t be more pleased, have already confirmed another booking and have asked about a third. About: Two years ago I adopted my loving cat, who turned out to be pregnant a few months after having her. I had the unique experience of helping her safely deliver and care for her kittens. About: I have had around thirteen years of cat care experience, having owned four cats, a tarantula, and a snake throughout my entire life, and currently volunteer at an animal shelter. I have had a lot of opportunities to learn how to take care of cats and their body languages, so I am very experienced with knowing when to back off or if a cat wants love or pets; I also know what to look out for to prevent cat fights from happening or how to break one up. Although most of my experience is in cats, I am always open to learning new things or how to take care of dogs, and I am always willing to walk your dog or house sit for them because I am someone who loves animals and will never shy away from a chance to meet them! I am still a student right now, so I am only free in the afternoons and evenings during the weekdays, but I am totally free on weekends (minus 2-5 PM on Saturdays where I volunteer). About: For as long as I can remember I’ve had pets in the house. Mainly dogs and cats. I have a lot of energy so going to the park and making sure your pet sees plenty of daylight won’t be an issue. I am also not against having dogs or cats on the furniture but I will always respect a clients request to maintain any kind boundaries already in place! I am currently trying to take this on full time so you can contact me whenever! After reaching out to me I will notify in message about any changes, appointments or errands that might have an impact on schedule. About: I am back with Rover! Since the last time I was here, my husband has passed from cancer and I am 59 years old and retired now. Loving animals has never changed and taking care of animals and people’s homes is something I absolutely love doing in my retirement! I can be trusted with your home and your pets! Ask me anything and I will answer! I am retired. So if I take on a dog sitting job, I will devote all my time to the needs of the dog and follow what the agreements are. Every animal is different and the car is subjective to the environment that they are used to. It’s important for me to know what the expectations are so that I can follow them.
About: I don’t just stop by for 5 minutes and leave i genuinely want to get to know them and I will cuddle with them and hang out for a while. I can usually be with the dog as much as you need. I am on summer so I have lots of free time now . I usually will be with them inside the house and in the backyard which is usually fenced up and we play fetch and hang out wherever they want to be
About: Hi, I'm Ever and I have provided pet care to family and neighbors' pets since I can remember! More recently, my father's 3 dogs and fish! I have also partnered with organizations to provide workplace visits where therapy animals, including dogs, can interact with employees. About: I've owned pets for the past 33 years as an adult. (I was also raised with cats and dogs growing up.) As an empty nester I'm enjoying this phase in my life caring for other people's furry family members as well. I am a pet owner, so I treat other people's pets as if they were my own. I am caring, reliable, trustworthy, responsible, and have A LOT of pet experience. I look for someone like myself when hiring a petsitter. I lead a very active lifestyle, usually I start my day at the gym or dance class then pick up dog walking jobs immediately following, mid-day or evening time. I do not have a job outside of the house besides petsitting. I have a completely fenced in large backyard. There is no way a dog could get out of my yard and I keep animals inside with me anyway, just go out for playtime and potty. I am aware that some pets like to try and escape so am extremely cautious when petsitting. I am thorough, clean up all dog poop and litter boxes, refill water bowls and feed animals as needed, give treats and/or medications as needed, and take dogs for walks. Currently I do not offer boarding because I am having home renovations being done and it would be disruptive/stressful for animals, but do plan on adding boarding at a later date.
About: I care for animals as if my own, loving and caring. Never have had an issue with an animal before and not planning on it ! I’m careful and secured I make time for caring/walking/ anything animals in my day to day because I understand there is a need when the client is busy at work or away from home Always with love and always in a well kept environment. “It was my first time leaving my dog, Benford with anyone. I couldn’t have gotten luckier with finding Travis (and family). Benford is a giant breed, so it can be hard to find the right person to handle him on a leash. The yard was roomy, house very well kept, and Travis was very consistent with picture updates and sticking to Benford’s exercise routine. I will absolutely be booking with them again.
