About: There has never been a moment in my life where the family didn't have a dog in the household; among other animals such as cats, hamsters, reptiles and amphibians of all times, and even a duck at one point. From large breeds to small breeds and everything in between, I've helped my family care for 10 dogs over the span of my life. Though I will admit that it wasn't until I was about 15 that I began making an active effort to take care of the family dogs. The largest among them was a boxer and American bulldog mix named Rufus. Currently my family has 3 dogs of which I am the primary caregiver, 1 Chihuahua-Yorkshire Terrier mix, 1 Miniature Poodle-Lhasa Apso mix, and 1 Jack Russel-West Highland Terrier mix (my dog, pictured in profile). Aside from personal and family pet experiences, I also have some volunteer and even partial professional experience with dogs. Between August of 2014 and September of 2015 I had the privilege of volunteering for the Anubis Animal Rescue which was situated in Simi Valley (the owner has since moved to Ventura and I was unable to continue with them due to financial and logistical reasons). During my time there I learned proper methods of walking, leashing, and caring for dogs of many different breeds and sizes; including medication dosage and taking care of dogs with special needs. I also gained experience as a temporary kennel hand as the Rescue temporarily partnered up with Bichon and Buddies in North Hollywood during June through September of 2015, Anubis' expansion period requiring a more hands-on approach which could not be handled with volunteer-only personnel. I am available 6 days a week from Sunday to Friday, 8 o'clock AM to 10 o'clock PM for walks, and am willing to stay over weekends for petsitting positions. Unfortunately I cannot provide boarding for animals in my apartment, as there are limits to the number of dogs allowed in a single apartment. When petsitting, however, I will be more than happy to go over a schedule with you to ensure that your pet has the required quality of care for their needs while they wait for your return.
9. Meghan L.
“We’re so grateful to have found Meghan! She watched our dog for a week, and we came home to a happy dog! She sent detailed updates each visit, played fetch with him, gave treats & made sure he was happy before leaving each visit! We have already booked her for our next trip!!”
10. Kaila B.
“Kaila has been walking my dogs for years! She is a true animal lover and it really shows. Kaila shows kindness and love to your fur baby and while keeping control of the walk. I suggest giving her a try and see for yourself, your dogs will be happy!”
11. Alexandra P.
About: Hi im Alexandra, im a student at moorpark college currently taking online classes so im available most of the time. I have 12 years of experience walking dogs, staying at others home house sitting/pet sitting, checking in on & in general caring for animals starting at a young age because my mom owns her own dog grooming business. I will love your pet and care for him or her as if they were my own. I know sometimes leaving your dog/cat/etc. with someone you do not know can be a little scary but, I promise your baby is in good hands and will be taken care of, cuddled, played with, pet, and loved. I will send regular updates with pictures letting you know that everything is ok. Im comfortable giving medication or accommodating to any special needs your baby might have. If I am staying in your home I do not mind bringing in the mail, rolling out the trash cans, watering the plants or any other everyday tasks you need done. During walks I will make sure your pup is securely fasened in their harness/collar and on a leash at all times. My eyes will be on them the whole time because it only takes a second for something bad to happen. I have many references you can contact if needed. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your dog/cat etc. I am currently taking online classes that I can do pretty much anywhere, which enables me to be available almost all of the time. I will have plenty of time to love & play with your pups(: I know it can be a little concerning letting a stranger into your home. So feel free to have cameras or call and check in as many times as you want lol I like to stay with the animals most of the time, I might run out to grab food , go to church, run by my parents etc. But, I will stay with them a majority of the time. I watch doors so they do not get out. I like to sleep with them if it's an over night gig. I am good with giving dogs meds or special feeding instructions. I've had many clients so feel free to ask for references. Being a student taking online classes so im available most of the time. I will do walks and check in appointments for multiple clients during the same day. I'm only unavailable if I'm doing overnight stays where the family prefers I don't leave during the day. Although, leaving for an hour once or twice a day usually is not an issue. I also have a remote job which doesn't interfere with this one. During this time I don't care for any pets in my own home, I usually travel to the clients home. While I'm caring for your animals I treat them as if they were my own. I am cautious to make sure they do not accidental get let out, feed or if needed give medication on time. I do not have any guests over. I always send pictures and updates during my stay. I have many references if needed, I know it can be nerve racking leaving your babies with someone new. I will also meet with you before to go over details, meet your animals and overall, make sure it's a good fit. I am comfortable giving medication if needed. I am also CRP certified.

13. Roxanne C.
“Roxanne is very friendly and responsive! We did a meet and greet first to ensure she was comfortable with a big dog and she is! Charlie loved her! She checked in with me often since Charlie has skin allergies. Definitely recommend her!”
14. Sara M.
“I can’t say enough about Sara and the service she provided. She took care of our cat and was so wonderful to him. She was kind enough to send us updates and photos everytime she checked on him and spent quality time with him. We did a meet and greet with her before we went out of town...which was a great component. As long as she is available we will hope to have her care in the future. Plus, she is just really nice and kind!”

17. Mari C.
“Mari dog sat our golden retriever for mine and hubby’s weekend getaway. And OMG! We could not have picked a better sitter. My dog Mookie absolutely adores her, she showed him plenty of love and gave him lots of treats. I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her because I knew he was in good hands.”
18. Mara H.
About: I’ve been taking care of our two fur babies who are big doggos, alongside my wife who is a retired K9 Handler. I love to homeschool our rescue dog because she learned some naughty habits, while our other dog teaches me that every dog is unique! I treat your dog as if I were taking care of my own, and to learn what makes your dog happy and what makes them anxious. Proud Filipina 🇵🇭 I love being a weekend helper so that you can enjoy time away from home and feel like your fur baby is taken care of — whether it’s a short play time or with a walk around the neighborhood! I primarily work remotely from home, and can house sit during the week with notice. I love clear instructions, expectations, and boundaries! I strive to leave someplace as good as (or better than) I found it. My complex has green space and a few parks with walking paths perfect for a walk together. Since I have reliable car service, I travel between both Ventura and Los Angeles County.
19. Courtney M.
“Hi my name is Kaylee and I have known Courtney for over 14 years. Courtney is a caring and loyal person not only as a friend to me but to any animal she comes by, i mean truly if we saw a deer in the woods she would try to pet it. Courtney is a quite nurturing person as well, this has been proven by how she treats her pets currently and how I have seen them in the past, she will throw toys, go on walks , give treats I mean she and her dogs even sleep in the same room , if that doesn’t show you how much the pets love her just as much as she loves them I don’t know what will. Book Courtney for your next dog sitting need and you will not regret it and I know your dog, cat, or any other animal will love her too.”
