Dog Sitting in Short Hills

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of family friends as well and clients of families i babysit for the past 6 years. I am a huge dog lover and some would even a dog whisperer. No dog is too big or too small for me! I am currently awaiting a summer internship that starts in July so I am very free until then! I am the most free in the afternoon! I have a fenced yard in my home and I have the tightest grip on a leesh you’ve ever seen! I have never lost a dog!

About: I grew up with dogs and loved looking after neighborhood pets as well including cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits, lizards and turtles. When I was little, I used to save earthworms after rainstorms by moving them gently from the road back onto the grass, so I am a lifelong animal lover who followed that passion to college to study wildlife biology. I volunteered at wildlife rehabilitation hospitals during that time, learning how to care for and administer medications to young and recovering animals. I’m a diligent caregiver, and pet willing, I’d love to play with them as well as tending to their basic needs. :) I’m currently working from home part-time, so my schedule is flexible. If your pets have a routine they stick to, I can ensure that continuity until you return! I am great at following directions you’ve left or walked me through. I’ll also ask you about their personalities in case they have any erratic tendencies like intense zoomies so I can let you know if they are behaving normally. With neighbors in the past, I have played with their pups/kitties/birdies or brought a book to keep their pets company at their place for an hour or so after taking care of their basic needs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old. I love all animals and enjoy spending time with my furry friends. My mom likes to say I’m somewhat of a dog whisperer😂 I am home for the summer and available everyday. I work at the Florham Park Day-camp throughout the week. Hours are: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm I love to go on long walks with my own dog Ollie. Along with keeping well fed and happy. Im sure he would enjoy some company on his walks! About: I've been the go-to catsitter among my family and friends since elementary school ! I've worked with indoor cats, outdoor cats, spicy cats, and kittens. I can adjust to your cat's every need ! Though I've mainly cared for cats, I also have experience with more exotic pets like fish, geckos, and tarantulas. I have a 30gal fish tank of my own ! I don't have another job at the moment, so I am available at any time. I will update days of unavailability as soon as possible. I'm very patient so if your pet isn't very trusting of new people, that's okay ! On the flipside, if your pet wants a friend then I can stick around !

About: My partner and I have been dog sitting for five years. Prior to that, we both grew up with family dogs and are very familiar and comfortable with a wide variety of dogs and breeds. We are incredibly enthusiastic, loving, and kind towards all animals. A stay with us if fun for your pet and for us! We love going on walks, and we live in a very dog-friendly apartment complex/neighborhood. We hope you’ll have your furry friend come stay with us! I am dog-sitting full time and my wife, Kayla, works remotely from home most days. Together we give your dogs the utmost care and attention. Attentiveness is the most important thing for us when with pets. In our home, we make sure that we can see the dog playing at all times. We put items away that are not dog-friendly, and we clear out space for playing and downtime. On walks, we are always attentive to the dog and how they behave and interact with other people, dogs and other animals in the neighborhood. A stay with us is always fun for the dog, but we like to make sure that your pet is safe and cared for. We also value communication. You putting your pet in our care while you are away, and we understand the trust that it takes to leave a member of your family with us. We give as many updates as you’d like via messenger and numerous photos or videos throughout the day. We are always reachable and willing to let you know how your dog’s stay is going. I’m currently working remotely. I tutor part-time from home, but I’m almost always home and I make pet sitting a priority. I used to be a teaching assistant, so I am very reliable and used to being responsible for others’ loved ones. I live in a very safe apartment complex. The buildings look like town homes, it is away from the main roads, and the complex Is pet friendly with lots of grass areas for your little guy or girl to do their business. It’s a wonderful welcoming community. I have my own entrance to my apartment and all the dogs in the community are wonderful.

Our Poodle Pippa had major surgery a week prior so my wife and i were nervous about leaving her with someone new (she’s get too excited and tear her stitches) but when we met Lindsay we were immediately reassured. About: Love all types of fur babies! And ready to take care of yours like it’s my own. My boyfriend and I have our own shelter with 13 dogs and 6 cats at our farm in Colombia. Ready to stay active and go on a run or give them all the pets they need and let them nap! Up to the pup or kitty! I’m currently working part time so I’m available during the morning time and for overnight stays. And I love to take walks so if I can stay active and take your fur baby out, that’s perfect! About: I happened to work as Sales & Social Media Coordinater for a dog training school a few years back, and that experience changed my whole outlook on how we care for our pets! The dog trainers I created content for taught me about positive reinforcement and reward-based methods in the process. Since moving to a different field I’ve used those skills to handle, walk, and petsit every animal from bearded dragons to cats on the side in a way that’s fun for everyone involved. Animals are my happy place & I’d love to share that joy with your family! I work 9AM to 6:15PM most days, so I am the perfect candidate for your morning and evening walks as well as overnight stays! I can do afternoon Drop-Ins for Short Hills/Essex County residents as well. It’s also no problem for me to house-sit and care for your home as gently as your pets! I’m very flexible - please contact me to find a schedule that works for you! I do not offer boarding services in my own home at this time, but I will always make sure I leave my client’s home as I left it when I visit and care for their beloved one 🐾
