About: My partner and I have been dog sitting for five years. Prior to that, we both grew up with family dogs and are very familiar and comfortable with a wide variety of dogs and breeds. We are incredibly enthusiastic, loving, and kind towards all animals. A stay with us if fun for your pet and for us! We love going on walks, and we live in a very dog-friendly apartment complex/neighborhood. We hope you’ll have your furry friend come stay with us! I am dog-sitting full time and my wife, Kayla, works remotely from home most days. Together we give your dogs the utmost care and attention. Attentiveness is the most important thing for us when with pets. In our home, we make sure that we can see the dog playing at all times. We put items away that are not dog-friendly, and we clear out space for playing and downtime. On walks, we are always attentive to the dog and how they behave and interact with other people, dogs and other animals in the neighborhood. A stay with us is always fun for the dog, but we like to make sure that your pet is safe and cared for. We also value communication. You putting your pet in our care while you are away, and we understand the trust that it takes to leave a member of your family with us. We give as many updates as you’d like via messenger and numerous photos or videos throughout the day. We are always reachable and willing to let you know how your dog’s stay is going. I’m currently working remotely. I tutor part-time from home, but I’m almost always home and I make pet sitting a priority. I used to be a teaching assistant, so I am very reliable and used to being responsible for others’ loved ones. I live in a very safe apartment complex. The buildings look like town homes, it is away from the main roads, and the complex Is pet friendly with lots of grass areas for your little guy or girl to do their business. It’s a wonderful welcoming community. I have my own entrance to my apartment and all the dogs in the community are wonderful.
“Isaac was great and communicated well! We had a last minute outing to see some family and didn’t want to leave Jolie for 8 hours. Isaac kept her great company and sent lots of pictures so we knew she was happy while we were out!”

About: Love all types of fur babies! And ready to take care of yours like it’s my own. My boyfriend and I have our own shelter with 13 dogs and 6 cats at our farm in Colombia. Ready to stay active and go on a run or give them all the pets they need and let them nap! Up to the pup or kitty! I’m currently working part time so I’m available during the morning time and for overnight stays. And I love to take walks so if I can stay active and take your fur baby out, that’s perfect! I will take care of your pet as you wish! First, we would establish important health need-to-knows, routines, ground rules, do’s and don’t’s, then I’d be able make sure everyone is comfortable and clear about your pet’s needs.
“V was fantastic. She came over to meet our two dogs before our scheduled visit and both dogs immediately loved her. It’s clear she’s a dog lover! We will absolutely be reaching out again in the future”
“Despite Charlie never coming out from under my bed, Blake showed up daily 2x/day to feed her, try to play, & ensure she had a clean litter box. I think Charlie would have had a pretty fun time, had she stuck her nose out just a little. Lots of funny pics of Charlie's eye &nose! 😁 I'd call Blake again -- he's a responsible cat- sitter.”

I have a fenced yard in my home and I have the tightest grip on a leesh you’ve ever seen! I have never lost a dog!
“Xiomara took good care of my cats! Very responsive and great communication always. Love all the pictures included in the visit card every time. Seems my cats also have great time with her. Would definitely have her again in the future.”

I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play and plenty of space to explore. Inside, I use gates throughout the house to keep pets out of trouble and create a calm, manageable environment. I also have two playful, friendly dogs who love making new friends and can keep your pup company—whether they enjoy gentle play or just having a buddy nearby. My goal is to make your pet feel at home, loved, and totally comfortable during their stay.
“Nicole has been such an incredible help with Rufus. She’s been extremely reliable, responsive, and most importantly, Rufus adores her. Suggest Nicole to anyone looking for quality care of their pets, big or small!”

“Donna was very reliable, caring, communicative and responsible. She is great with animals, even my shy cat warmed up to her very quickly first at our meet and greet and then during my time away. Highly recommend her services, will book her again.”

“Katrina was great checking in on our 2 cats while we were on holiday. One cat is very skittish but she opened up and played by day 2. Katrina was prompt for all check ins and great with communication (even when we were slow). We will definitely be using her again to watch our babies.”
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Whether it was my own dog (who had complicated medical needs) or pet sitting for neighbors and friends, I have always loved dogs. I volunteer with St Hubert's when I can. I currently have an 8 year old rescue Cheagle (beagle/chihuahua mix). I am looking forward to the day when we can add another pup to our family as soon as my toddler can handle a bit more responsibility. I work part time so I have two days per week available to spend time with your pets! Whether that be a quick walk or a snuggle on the couch if you're working late, I would be honored to spend time with your four legged family member :) I am certified in canine CPR and basic first aid. I have a reliable car that can get to an emergency vet (if needed). I listen to what your dog wants/needs - cuddles, pets, playtime or space.

Florham Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kendall saved our plans after our usual sitter flaked out at the last minute. She came by the day before to meet the dogs with pretty much no notice. One of our puppies is very high energy and I could tell that he'd been run around enough while we were gone. She was very communicative and kept us updated all day. I'm sure we'll be using her again!
