About: I have been taking care of and pet sitting animals, whether it be my own, my family’s or friends basically my whole life. More recently, I have been involved with The Seeing Eye since 2018, as a puppy sitter as well as a volunteer Puppy Raiser, and I have been bathing and grooming dogs professionally since early 2021, working with little puppies for their first grooms all the way up to senior dogs who need a little more love and patience during the grooming process. I have several years of experience working with puppies on basic obedience, and potty training. In addition, I have a 6 year old german shepherd who I have raised and trained myself who I love with my whole heart. I currently work 5 days a week as a groomer, however my schedule can be flexible. I am available most nights after 6 pm and all day Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I do not pet sit in my own home, as I live in a small apartment. About: As a speech therapist for 10 months out of the year, I primarily work with children and enjoy spending summers outdoors with my own dog, Cooper. I have 10 years of experience pet sitting and dog walking, through Rover as well as for friends and neighbors. “I was very pleased with the experience and would recommend Jonathan to friends. Jonathan watched our dog for 1 week. This was our first time using a pet sitter and I was a little nervous. Jonathan was very responsive to all my inquires and at my request sent daily updates (even pictures which we appreciated). Jonathan seems very comfortable and confident working with dogs. My dog does not like most male strangers, but from the first meet and greet he was able to interact with her in a positive way. Jonathan's dog is wonderful too and got along very well with our dog. I could tell when we picked our dog up (and a day later) that she had a good experience. Jonathan has a very nice fenced in back yard and also took Daisy on walks in the neighborhood. I am very relieved to find someone trustworthy and competent to take care of our dog and we will be sending her to Jonathan again whenever we travel. ”
