I’m attentive, reliable, and committed to making sure your pet feels comfortable and well-cared-for in your absence. About: My name is Emma R. and I am currently a senior at Fairleigh Dickinson University - Florham. I have been housitting and pet sitting since I was in middle school and would love to help you out! I have worked with animals of all size, age, and even some with medical conditions. I am experienced at giving medication and work well wih animals, as I grew up with a cat and dogs. I am able to care for multiple pets at once, and have a car on campus so I am able to take any job. I am a college student with avalability sporadically so please reach out about specific days and times that you would need care. I am happy to take pets on walks or just sit with them and give them attention in addition to feeding. If staying the night, I am happy to have your pet sleep with me or crate them, whatever they will be the most comfortable with.

About: I give personalized care to every pet. I also have experience with dogs, whether it’s reinforcing basic training or providing attentive care, I adjust my approach to fit them. I plan my schedule around consistency and reliability. I make sure pets get timely walks, meals, playtime and specific care they need. Caring for pets isn’t something I squeeze in, it’s something I intentionally structure my time around. In a client’s home I focus on maintaining their normal schedule so they feel comfortable in their familiar environment. In my home, I create a safe, calm space where they can relax and feel at ease.

About: I have had dogs in my house for as long as I can remember (since I was four, to be exact) - I know how to deal with the barking, gently wrestle a leash onto the wriggliest of pups, feed them on schedule even when they beg for early dinner, and give them all the love they could possibly need. I have walked, fed, and cleaned up after my dogs for years, and I am so excited to get to do that for other pups too! I am a college student home from school and have extreme flexibility with my schedule. I have a car, so I can drive to your house to take care of your pooch as needed at almost any time between 8 am and 6 pm. The most important thing for me when taking care of pets is their comfort. As much as I love to cuddle our fur babies, if they don’t like physical touch I will give them their space. I am happy to play tug of war, fetch, and even let them chase me around outside (I understand needs change depending on the breed). I feed them as instructed and on schedule (having trained myself to resist even the cutest of puppy eyes begging for extra treats) and make sure they only get what their owners have left for them to have. I also love taking dogs on walks for exercise, both for their sake and my own!

About: Dogs have been apart of my life since I was 10 years old when we got our little guy Sputnik. After High School, I attended The Morris County School of Technology where I graduated from its Veterinary Medicine course that vastly expanded my knowledge on interpreting dog behavior, action steps in an emergency, and markers for potential medical complications. After that, I worked at two different esteemed dog daycare and boarding facilities for a total of 3 years. During this time I was able to put what I learned into practice with a variety of different situations and a variety of different dogs all ranging in size, age, and temperament. This experience not only taught me technical skills, but also the philosophy I now use for pet care. Each dog is unique, and what works for one might not be effective for another. It is with this in mind, that I strive to find the approach that works best for your dog. As a dog owner myself I understand that they are so much more than just pets, they are furry members of our families. This notion is important in conveying the gravity of entrusting the care of your four legged family to another. With all this in mind, I hope you will consider my services so I can get to know both you and your furry friend(s). Currently my schedule is very open, with only a few select dates throughout the summer where I will be unavailable. I am currently enrolled in two summer college courses that will end around mid-August. Both are virtually however, so there is no class meeting so they will impact my ability to pet care very minimally. I am a full-time student, so at the end of August I resume a full-course load at college and my schedule will be restricted; but, I should still be able to accommodate when necessary. My dog is small senior pup(11 years old), so managing his comfort and administration of his medication on time and schedule are the most important aspects of his care at this point in his life. I also live on a dead-end where he is able to roam fairly freely until he is tired. While this is what works for my dog, it might not be what works for yours. Through talking with you and getting to know your dog, we will be able to come up with a plan/schedule that works best for them!

About: I am a lifelong resident of the area and have been a pet care provider for 4 years, both at home, for neighbors, and as an animal shelter volunteer. I'm familiar working with both puppies and senior dogs. I am most comfortable with small to mid-size dogs and can help with reinforcing training. I'm excited to be a friendly and caring presence in your dog's life and provide them with food, exercise, and company when you are out of the house! I'm looking for part-time work and my schedule is flexible, so I'm available on short notice. I'm available during working hours and nighttime any day of the week. I try to keep to a dog's usual routine when it comes to meals and being let outside. I also try to keep them stimulated as much as they are willing or able to be.

About: I've had dogs all my life, the most recently i had a awesome miniature poodle who I was fortunate to love and care for 17 years, so I am familiar with the needs of senior dogs. My schedule is fairly open every day after about 9 or ten am. I'd like a regular opportunity, but one offs will be good as well I am available for pet sitting at the clients home, but due to younger kids I can accommodate pets at my home. Walking and feeding and playing is ideal

About: I’ve been taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I always had love for dogs in all sizes and their different personalities. Since having a dog on my own last year I’ve learned to practice training and grooming all by myself. About: I happened to work as Sales & Social Media Coordinater for a dog training school a few years back, and that experience changed my whole outlook on how we care for our pets! The dog trainers I created content for taught me about positive reinforcement and reward-based methods in the process. Since moving to a different field I’ve used those skills to handle, walk, and petsit every animal from bearded dragons to cats on the side in a way that’s fun for everyone involved. Animals are my happy place & I’d love to share that joy with your family! I work 9AM to 6:15PM most days, so I am the perfect candidate for your morning and evening walks as well as overnight stays! I can do afternoon Drop-Ins for Short Hills/Essex County residents as well. It’s also no problem for me to house-sit and care for your home as gently as your pets! I do not offer boarding services in my own home at this time, but I will always make sure I leave my client’s home as I left it when I visit and care for their beloved one 🐾

About: I’ve cared for my Samoyed since she was a puppy in 2023 and my Aussie doodle since she was a puppy in 2024. Growing up I have always enjoyed the outdoors and animals, so dog walking was always fun for me and the dogs I walked. I am switching careers at the moment and looking for alternatives to the 9-5. I wake up early and can start walking by 6am, I can do walks up till 7pm. I will follow the rules of your house if I check in on your dogs. Most importantly, making sure I lock up and close any doors I enter to make sure your dogs are safely secured at home.

About: I've been the go-to catsitter among my family and friends since elementary school ! I've worked with indoor cats, outdoor cats, spicy cats, and kittens. I can adjust to your cat's every need ! Though I've mainly cared for cats, I also have experience with more exotic pets like fish, geckos, and tarantulas. I have a 30gal fish tank of my own ! I don't have another job at the moment, so I am available at any time. I will update days of unavailability as soon as possible. I'm very patient so if your pet isn't very trusting of new people, that's okay ! On the flipside, if your pet wants a friend then I can stick around !
