About: I have had several dogs of my own growing up and into adulthood. I walked dogs professionally after college. I currently own a 2 1/2 year old beagle who keeps me on my toes. I have taken care of senior dogs in the past and am comfortable administering needed medications. I also have walked dogs with trauma and can take the time to let them warm up to me. I currently work part time as I plan to head back to grad school in the fall. I have lots of availability and flexibility in my schedule. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs myself because I had a pet cat that I used to have so I would say I’m perfectly within the capability of being a sitter. About: Let me just preface this— I am a true cat lady. Salesmen know how to work a room of people… I know how to work a room of cats. (=^.^=) Animals have been a part of my life since I was born. Pet birds free to fly around the home, our cats and dogs coexisting peacefully amongst them, bird feeders scattered around the yard, and joining my mother on her dog-walking jobs when I was 8 years old. Pet care has been engrained in my spirit. Naturally, from a young age, I became the girl who friends and family would ask to watch their pets, both dogs and cats. I still do to this day. In college, I started working for a local pet-sitting business here in North Jersey, doing both daily dog walks and vacation cat-sitting where I gained most of my professional experience in this field. Then I started picking up my own clients on the side for cat sitting. While I do have that dog-sitting experience, I would say I specialize in bonding with and taking care of felines most of all! I have experience with all types of breeds; Persian (owned a few myself), Abyssinian, Sphinx, Maine Coons, Siamese, and most of all, trusty old tabbies and Domestic Shorthairs. I truly love spending time with all types of cats and it shows in the bonds and connections I form with them! I'm currently a High School English teacher, so until June 24th, I can only do visits after 4pm and any time on the weekends. After June 24th, my schedule is wide open. DROP-INS— I am clean, respectful, and detail oriented when coming into your home. I make sure to follow all instructions thoroughly, and use my judgement to the best of my ability. I triple-check that I have done everything correctly, and place all of my attention on your furbabies for the time that I am in your home! BOARDING-- you are welcome to request boarding with me. These will be accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on how large your dog is, what their needs are, and the length of stay. I live in a spacious apartment with one high-energy cat who enjoys being around dogs. I also live adjacent to a park and the South Mountain Reservation, so you can expect your dog to get lots of exercise! HOUSESITTING— I also do housesitting during the summer! I cannot housesit during the school year as I work full-time (September-Late June).

About: I’ve grown up around dogs. Both were quite big and energetic. Even though I was young I would help feed, walk, and bathe the dogs. I have now gotten into taking care of cats as well. When family is out of town, I am who they call to help take care of their pets because of my reliability. I am in education so I am trustworthy enough to care of kids as well! My first dog cost me a couch cushion, a remote control, a few pairs of shoes, rugs and many hours of chasing to catch her (she was a Whippet mix so she was super fast and playful). She gave me the biggest joy! I’m an aunt to an 8 year old Chihuahua+shih tzu who lives in Viva Las Vegas. When I visit, we like to take walks and play in the pool. I have been walking dogs for family and friends for years and it’s always been an adventure. I'm a nursing student so I am available during this Summer for drop-ins, walks or hikes M-Th. Some weekends if scheduled 1-2 weeks. I welcome the opportunity to meet you and your fur baby! I know how it’s like to leave your fur babies with others while away or at work, therefore, I make sure to have fur parents feel comfortable with me so they can relax while away. With that, I want to learn about any triggers like sounds, words, objects or actions that might alarm your dog. Do they bark at other dogs or do they chase squirrels uncontrollably during a walk?

About: I have owned and cared for cats for 20 years. I am also trained in Fear Free Shelter protocols. I am a retiring public school educator. I also enjoy drawing and painting animals (particularly cats) in my spare time. Maybe I can paint your pet in addition to caring for it!
