I can’t say enough good things about Shannon. I came to her with a little bit of an odd request—more like an evening of babysitting our pup than a traditional dog sit. Happy is 5 months old and full of energy. And also still learning how to behave in someone else’s house. We were staying with our daughter and her family so we could attend a family wedding in a different city than where we live. I looked on Rover and found this woman with years of experience as a certified dog sitter, who seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. I thought she would not be overwhelmed by a 5-month-old golden retriever pup. So I reached out to Shannon long distance and she was right there with all the good questions and suggestions about how to make my plan work. We chatted for about an hour to make sure we both felt comfortable and then I booked the appointment. Shannon even came to my daughter’s house the day before the wedding just to meet Happy and give me a chance to share any additional details. Then on the day of the wedding, she came right on time and gracefully managed our pup (walks, potty breaks, dinner, playing with our very young grandkids , settling for the night), which enabled our son-in-law to manage our two grandchildren without any additional complications. Her skill and kindness with Happy made the whole evening stress-free for all of us. It was a dream dog sit. When it came time for Shannon to leave, Happy just walked over and sat down right at her heels and nuzzled her hand. Thank you Shannon!

Shannon provided cat sitting for my two cats over a period of a week via daily drop ins. She was detailed and thorough in her meet and great. Shannon was intentive to my cats needs, kept me updated throughout my travel, and made sure to exercise my cats the best one can. She easily navigated my automated cat feeders, kept the litter box clean, and made sure to tidy up any messes the cats may have made between visits. I'm sure the boys will miss their daily play time and tube treat sessions with Shannon! Will be sure to book again.

Shannon was absolutely amazing with our 5 year old pitty. She was so thorough at our meet and greet over Quintley’s routine and needs. Shannon was there twice during the day at exactly the time we asked for. She kept me updated with messages and pictures. Her communication is fabulous. There was no question that our pup was in great hands. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again. The absolute best!!

Shannon is great. She's experienced with dogs and was patient with Meeko as he got introduced. She was also great at communicating both before and after her visit. Would definitely book with her again.

I highly recommend Shannon as a pet caregiver. She is the only one I would trust to care for my dogs. I know they will get the love and care almost as much as if I wasn't gone. She is devoted and loving to all animals.

When it comes to pet care, Shannon is a true professional. I’ve known Shannon for many years and have relied on her many times to take care of my two cats when I am away. I always know that my cats will be well cared for. Shannon always goes above and beyond with the care. She, of course makes sure my cats are fed, and have plenty of water, but she also gives them a lot of attention and playtime. When I watch the videos that she sends I can tell that my cats are happy and feel safe with her. Shannon is reliable and trustworthy and I wouldn’t want to leave my cats with anyone else. I highly recommend her.
