“Joanne was AMAZING with our lil ones. We never had someone come over to take care of them other than close family, so we were a little worried but Joanne gave us the confidence with excellent communication, always on time and sending us pictures. Thanks to her we were able to enjoy our vacation! We appreciate it so much. We will definitely be booking again. Super highly recommended!”

About: Passionate animal enthusiast with 12 years of veterinary experience, beginning in doggy daycare and advancing to veterinary care. I offer safe, compassionate, and dependable pet services. I typically work 40-hour weeks, but I always have plenty of days available to spend time with any pet in need. I really cherish the love of a furry friend! My Shih Tzu has always received compliments on her friendly behavior and obedience training. She's allowed to roam freely in the home b/c there are no perishable items accessible to her. It’s important to ensure that all fur babies are respected and their needs are met.
“Marlee watched our two cats with so much care! She left very thorough reports each day and was very communicative/responsive about anything that came up. She even came through in crisis - she arrived one day when there was smoke in the house/the smoke alarm was going off. We called the fire department and she stayed the entire time to make sure everything was ok. We are so grateful for her dedicated care!! 10/10 recommend.”

About: My name is Christine and I've been working in pet care- dog walking, pet/house sitting and even dog grooming for 5+ years. I worked as a dog washer at In and Out Grooming in Garwood and am an avid dog walker. I've been a dog owner, and find pet care to be the most fulfilling job I've ever had. I love all breeds, and though I am small in stature I love walking big dogs! I can provide nail clippings and also don't mind doing some general house cleaning if I were to do house sitting and home visits. I have a very flexible schedule, outside of pet care I am pursuing a career in theater. Extremely flexible schedule! I have free daytime hours, while working on a theater schedule. Great for daytime walks and drop ins. Weekends available, don't hesitate to request! I have house sitting experience to keep your pets company while you're away! I've worked with many breeds and personalities of pet in the place they are most comfortable, happy to just spend time with them and adapt to their routines. I also don't mind doing some general house cleaning if I were to do house sitting and home visits.
“Shannon was absolutely amazing with our 5 year old pitty. She was so thorough at our meet and greet over Quintley’s routine and needs. Shannon was there twice during the day at exactly the time we asked for. She kept me updated with messages and pictures. Her communication is fabulous. There was no question that our pup was in great hands. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again. The absolute best!!”

“Diane and Dave are trustworthy, thoughtful caregivers of our dog, Terry, who checked in w updates and questions and took his medical needs and the summer heat seriously. They gave him lots of loving attention, and we returned home to a happy dog! We’re so pleased to have met them and plan to rely on them for our next trip!”

“Barbara receives high marks for her care of our boys Mickey and Joey. Sounds like our kitties made fast friends with Barbara and followed her around on her visits. I know they enjoyed play time - although that was difficulty to capture on camera. I would love to have Barbara here again the next time we travel. Laura Q”

“This is the second time Emily has petsit for my 2 cats. As always she was amazing. My first experience was back in February when I had to go on an extended work trip for 10 days. Emily was amazing and my 2 cats warmed right up to her. She took such great care of them. She went above and beyond even making it to take care of them during the blizzard. I cannot recommend Emily enough. She will love your pets like they are her own making sure their needs are met while giving lots of play time and cuddles. She even got my extremely timid cat to take her medicine twice a day- an amazing feat!! Her updates and communication were thorough and put me at ease while I was away. I highly recommend her to everyone in the area and will be booking her for my future pet sitting needs.”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover, school teacher, and part-time pet sitter who’s here to give your pup the love, attention, and care they deserve—especially while you’re away or busy. I’ve had a dog of my own in the past and currently help care for my fiancé’s family dog, so I know firsthand how important it is to have someone trustworthy looking after your furry family member. Whether your pup loves long walks, snuggles, or just someone to keep them company, I bring a calm, friendly presence—and a lot of belly rubs. I live in a dog-friendly apartment building and enjoy getting outdoors, so your dog will always have a safe and enriching experience. I’d love to meet you and your dog! Let me know how I can help. I have a flexible summer schedule! I will be away July 24th-August 7th to visit family and friends. I hope to meet you and your dog soon! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Sara was the ideal pet sitter. She took great care of our dog while we were away. She provided daily photos and videos to keep us informed at all times. Sara is professional, kind and thorough. She followed all instructions and was simply wonderful to work with. We highly recommend her and will use her again.

Kethely is such a sweetheart and was amazing with our baby pomsky! She was such a big help when we needed someone for drop in visits while on vacation. She always sends daily videos and pictures so that we were constantly updated on how our puppy was doing, and it gave us peace of mind knowing the good care our fur baby was in. We would definitely rebook with her and highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable caring pet sitter!

Joanne was AMAZING with our lil ones. We never had someone come over to take care of them other than close family, so we were a little worried but Joanne gave us the confidence with excellent communication, always on time and sending us pictures. Thanks to her we were able to enjoy our vacation! We appreciate it so much. We will definitely be booking again. Super highly recommended!

Bianca was amazing while my husband and I were away! She was so prompt and followed all our instructions perfectly. She also showed us so much love, care, and patience, especially with our three dachshunds—especially our little guy, who was a bit anxious and timid at first. Dachshunds, especially three, can be a bit of a challenge and can get a little chaotic, but she handled all three with such compassion. She even offered some alternative options when scheduling conflicts came up. Thanks again, Bianca! We’re already looking forward to booking with you again :)

Kerry Ann helped us out with drop in visits while we were away for our senior dog. Kerry Ann was prompt, arriving when we agreed upon, staying the full drop in time length and keeping us informed with detailed Rover cards. My dog is a bit shy and slower at his age. Kerry Ann took her time with him and made him feel comfortable and also followed all instructions we left. I would highly recommend her. She seems to really love dogs in general which is a plus when you are leaving your beloved pet in their care.

Christine did a wonderful job with our 11 yr old dog, who took to her right away when they first met. She sent us photos, fed him each meal. We were impressed with her honesty when she came in to feed him but had to leave quickly, and she returned later at night to stay with him. We certainly recommend Christine. She took care of our dog and gave us a peace of mind. Thank you.

Hazel is incredibly reliable. Every year our walker goes on vacation for a month. For the past three years we’ve been able to rely on Hazel to step in & take care of our furbaby, who can be super anxious. Hazel is attentive, communicative, patient kind and gentle with our Mona & we are so grateful.

Shannon was absolutely amazing with our 5 year old pitty. The absolute best!!

Again, I cannot recommend Emma enough as a sitter for our two dogs. She always shows great concern for them, pays close attention to every detail, and keeps us consistently informed of their status with photos and updates. We have complete confidence with our dogs in Emma's care

Justice has provided really good care for my dog and was very good in all her communications. She provided all the details of my dog with photos in a nice report daily, and left me worry-free during my hectic travel. Really appreciate having her nearby and will definitely reach out to her again if needed.

Ashley did stop in visits and walks several times a day for 5 days while I was away and I felt so at ease knowing she was going to be taking care of my furr babies. She is so patient, loving and affectionate with them they love her presence. I am so happy I have found such an amazing sitter who I can count on. I would recommend her if you are looking for a sitter!

Nathalia did a great job! She made sure Dior was loved and well taken care of. I strongly recommend her services to anyone out there looking for a loving and compassionate dog sitter that will look after your dog as if it’s her own! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Roselle Park with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
