“The only issue with boarding my girls with Lynn, is that my dogs seem to suffer from postpartum depression for a couple days following their stay. You cannot find a better, more caring, surrogate dog parent for your 4 legged kids. Lots of playtime with Summer (Lynn’s girl), homemade treats, toys galore, cuddles and snuggles at will,… I could on and on… (BTW, unlike Amazon’s reviews, you can take this one to the bank!). A&J send their love to you, Lynn, and keep asking me when sre leaving town again?🙄)”
“Thomas was absolutely awesome ! I am so thankful that we were able to find him. I have a 2 year old intact German shepherd and my husbands work closed on short notice for 2 weeks so we decided to take a vacation. I was scrambling to find some boarding for him but if you have a large power breed who isn’t neutered than you know it can be difficult to find places that accept them. The only boarding option I could find was a no contact facility where he would have been in a kennel the WHOLE time except for 3 30-1 hr potty breaks which were on a LARGER kennel area. Totally unacceptable to me. That’s when I started looking on Rover and was so glad to find Thomas. Not only does he care for your pet he also puts in the time and energy to exercise them which is so SO important to me. He was super flexible, gave me a ton of updates and still took Bear on walks/runs during this insane 95 degree heatwave we had. I totally trusted that he kept Bear safe during that time (walking in hot weather wise). This is a person who truly cares about animals and takes care of their physical, mental and emotional needs. I don’t know how to add pictures here but if I find out how to I will. Can’t say enough good things.”

I work from home during the week so I have the flexibility to give your fur baby play and bathroom breaks as their needs dictate. I have a spacious backyard equipped with 20ft. tie outs for supervised fun in the sun. Two to theee walks a day in the Avondale neighborhood as weather permits.
About: I have a 5-year-old chocolate Lab boy and a 4-year-old Maine Coon boy. They’re best buddies, super friendly, and always happy to make new friends! I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was very young age. I work from home Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule. My cat and dog are best friends, they’re very good boys and always welcoming others. Fenced yard with 0.6 acer backyard, so the dog friend can run and play outside. While your pet is in our care, their safety is our top priority. However, accidents can occur. If your dog becomes injured or injures another animals pr person, We will notify you immediately. Owner is responsible for all veterinary costs and medical decisions. Aggression, biting, or repeated dangerous behavior may result in early pickup.

Derek is an excellent communicator! We are so thankful to Derek for taking such great care of our pup, Mango, while we were away for a week. We had a hard time finding the right dog sitter and did several meet-and-greets before we found Derek. He made us feel comfortable and confident that Mango would be in good hands. On the first day we dropped Mango off, I was honestly so anxious because it was our first time leaving her with a new dog sitter. But Derek immediately started sending us updates and photos throughout the day. It almost felt like we were never away from our pup. Throughout the entire week, Derek consistently kept us updated with pictures and messages. One day, he even prepared a fresh batch of poached walleye for his dogs and included Mango in their special “culinary experience.” It was such a thoughtful and fun surprise, and it showed how much he genuinely cares for every dog in his care. When we picked Mango up, she was so happy, and it was obvious she had an amazing time with Derek and his sweet dogs, Emma and Ruthie. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares for your pet and keeps you informed every step of the way, I highly recommend Derek. Ralph was amazing, he accommodated our girls and treated them as if they were his own. He ensured that they were the only clients he had during their stay to make sure they were comfortable. He sent so many photos and made sure that we knew that were well cared for during their first stay with him. There was no doubt. Our large breed is shy and after our first meet and greet, she warmed up to Ralph so easily and she does that with no one. He has a way with animals that makes them feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend Ralph but I would like to be able to book him in the future 😉
