What really sets Marissa apart is how she handled an unexpected emergency. During the hottest week of the summer, our air conditioner stopped working with only 24 hours left in our trip. As soon as she noticed the house was getting too warm, she contacted us immediately. She went above and beyond, helping us troubleshoot the issue from a distance and refusing to leave our dogs alone until she knew they were safe. She even helped get the downstairs temperature back to 76 degrees. When she realized the upstairs was still much too hot for the dogs to be crated overnight, she didn't hesitate to offer to spend the night with them—without us even asking. That level of care, compassion, and dedication is something you simply can't teach. Knowing she was there with our dogs allowed us to relax, even though we were so far from home. She did an amazing job caring for both of our pups—our 150-pound lap dog and our demanding little pitty! They absolutely adored her, and it's obvious she genuinely loves the animals she cares for. If you're looking for someone who is dependable, caring, communicative, and willing to go above and beyond, Marissa is the one. We will absolutely be using her again, even for short day trips. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a long time as they have always been a family pet for me, as we typically had 4 at time. I’ve also pet sat for neighbors and friends. I am currently not working so I have open availability. I have no pets at home so I am able to stay and pet sit. I have a car so can take dogs on rides and take them to parks and out for walks. I will make sure they are comfortable.

About: I have had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. I took care of our dog for at least 5 years up until he passed away. I have been learning to train dogs as well. I currently work full time, Monday through Friday, and I have extra time and love to give to dogs that need a place to stay. I have a partially fenced in yard that is on the process of being fixed/finished. I can easily separate dogs if needed. I will provide walks as long as weather permits.

I have a dog of my own who went through training as a puppy and I have always remembered my training with her when I deal with other people's animals.
