About: I have had dogs in my house my whole life, and for the past few years, I have been dog-sitting for numerous families for long periods of time. I am equipped to walk, let out, feed, administer medications, play, and take care of any other needs your dog may have. I work as a caregiver on Saturdays and Sundays for 6 hours each day, but otherwise, I can spend the rest of my time with your pup. I make it a priority to get any instructions my clients may have regarding their pup and make sure to follow them. I also make sure that I am always in earshot when in the home with the dog so that if anything happens, I can quickly act.

About: I have been a veterinary assistant for the last 7 years. My world revolves around providing the best care for every animal and I would love to welcome yours into my family. I work at a veterinary clinic as a vet assistant part time, half day shifts. I am available to care for your baby any day and they will never be alone longer than 5 hours during my shifts. I have a home with a fenced yard, full basement and plenty of room to run and play. I also live near many of the Lorain County metro parks and walking trails.

About: I have several years of cat and dog experience. I grew up with animals and have taken care of them from early ages all the way through senior ages. I love all animals like their my own and love taking care of them! I'm currently working full time. However, I have evenings, weekends and holiday's off. I am pretty flexible with my weekends and can accommodate you and your animals for any needs! I have lots of training in dog walking. I have a dog of my own who went through training as a puppy and I have always remembered my training with her when I deal with other people's animals.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was young! I’ve taken my neighbors dogs on walks and come visit them if they were away for a couple of hours! I love all dogs and cats! I currently work during the day, so in the evening I’m available to take care of your fur babies! Whether that’s taking them on walks, hanging out with them, or feeding them! I am very flexible when it comes to the care of your pet! When that is doing extra for their care, if you need an extra visit, or doing something you forgot to mention!

About: I have had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. I took care of our dog for at least 5 years up until he passed away. I have been learning to train dogs as well. I currently work full time, Monday through Friday, and I have extra time and love to give to dogs that need a place to stay. I have a partially fenced in yard that is on the process of being fixed/finished. I can easily separate dogs if needed. I will provide walks as long as weather permits.

“truly can't say enough wonderful things about Marissa! From the moment she came over before our trip to meet our dogs and learn their routine, we knew they were going to be in great hands. She treated our puppies like they were her own. Every drop-in was right on time, and she always sent updates with pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. What really sets Marissa apart is how she handled an unexpected emergency. During the hottest week of the summer, our air conditioner stopped working with only 24 hours left in our trip. As soon as she noticed the house was getting too warm, she contacted us immediately. She went above and beyond, helping us troubleshoot the issue from a distance and refusing to leave our dogs alone until she knew they were safe. She even helped get the downstairs temperature back to 76 degrees. When she realized the upstairs was still much too hot for the dogs to be crated overnight, she didn't hesitate to offer to spend the night with them—without us even asking. That level of care, compassion, and dedication is something you simply can't teach. Knowing she was there with our dogs allowed us to relax, even though we were so far from home. She did an amazing job caring for both of our pups—our 150-pound lap dog and our demanding little pitty! They absolutely adored her, and it's obvious she genuinely loves the animals she cares for. If you're looking for someone who is dependable, caring, communicative, and willing to go above and beyond, Marissa is the one. We will absolutely be using her again, even for short day trips. About: I have a strong background working with animals of all kinds—from wrangling 60+ horses at a working ranch, to helping kids with special needs ride and care for horses through a PATH program in Rocky River. Animals have been a huge part of my life, and being around them brings me a deep sense of joy and purpose. I have completed my doctor of physical therapy degree and am currently working PRN, so I have time to work with animals! I also volunteer with Love-A-Stray’s cat division, assisting with feeding, cleaning, and trap-neuter-release efforts. At home, I care for five rescue cats (mostly tabbies!) who are social, playful, and get along great with one another.
