My name is Kimberly and I am currently 31 years old - I have been taking care of all kinds of animals since I was a child, however I moved to working with dogs professionally at the age of 20; I have enjoyed every moment since! My husband & I recently moved to Elyria however we previously lived in Cleveland Heights where I worked at a local dog boarding and daycare center where I was responsible for the well being of upwards of 35-50 dogs, ensuring each and every dog was able to relax in their new environment, providing all meals and medication as well as ensuring the safety of all social dogs in a group together. This position gave me the most valuable knowledge possible and has solidified my idea that stress free care is one of the most important things I can do for the pets entrusted in my care. My husband & I currently own 3 cats and they are all our world and best friends; while I love all animals, dogs are my true passion however and I have extensive experience with many different breeds, sizes, temperaments, energy drives, worker breeds/service dogs, etc. I am also able to provide you with the comfort of knowing all medications and health needs will be met, as I have plenty of experience providing care for senior/health compromised dogs that follow a strict medication/feeding schedule. I am very comfortable with administering shots, pill shoots as well as old fashion 'pilling' a dog with some PB! After the pandemic and working an office job remotely for 2 years, I have stepped aside from that life and am looking to focus more on spending my days enjoying my passion: taking care of your pup and creating a relaxed, stress free experience for you both. I have a background in customer service so bringing you peace of mind, going above and beyond, and creating special experiences is something im happy to be able to do! This is my full time position so you don't need to worry about my schedule pulling me in different directions; there is extra security with my dog experienced/dog obsessed husband being close by and able to help in an kind of possible emergency that might keep me from my usual schedule. I treat house-sitting as if I am working from home and I will not be away from your pets for longer than 4-5hrs at a time, and am happy to/prefer to spend the night so your pet/home aren't alone or unsupervised. If I am in your home you can find peace in the fact that not only your pets will be safe but your home is protected as well! I treat others homes just as sacredly as ones pets, and I am more than happy to take in all mail/packages, water your plants, be home for any needed maintenance or to alert you of any home changes or emergencies. I also have extensive knowledge of what to do for all weather emergencies as well such as tornado warnings, winter storms, heavy flooding etc and you can rest easy on your vacation knowing that your pet is safe and all steps are taken to ensure your home and pet will stay protected!

She treated our puppies like they were her own. Every drop-in was right on time, and she always sent updates with pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. What really sets Marissa apart is how she handled an unexpected emergency. During the hottest week of the summer, our air conditioner stopped working with only 24 hours left in our trip. As soon as she noticed the house was getting too warm, she contacted us immediately. She went above and beyond, helping us troubleshoot the issue from a distance and refusing to leave our dogs alone until she knew they were safe. She even helped get the downstairs temperature back to 76 degrees. When she realized the upstairs was still much too hot for the dogs to be crated overnight, she didn't hesitate to offer to spend the night with them—without us even asking. That level of care, compassion, and dedication is something you simply can't teach. Knowing she was there with our dogs allowed us to relax, even though we were so far from home. She did an amazing job caring for both of our pups—our 150-pound lap dog and our demanding little pitty! They absolutely adored her, and it's obvious she genuinely loves the animals she cares for. If you're looking for someone who is dependable, caring, communicative, and willing to go above and beyond, Marissa is the one. We will absolutely be using her again, even for short day trips. About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs and cats for most of my life. My life has been enriched by caring for kittens, puppies, adults, and seniors. I’ve given pills and eye drops to both cats and dogs. I love playing with cats and dogs and seeing them happy! It would be an honor to care for your pet. I’m the owner/operator of a new pet transportation business and have taken care of puppies during 200+ mile trips. This includes giving them water and food, cleaning them and their crate up (if they got carsick ☹️), sitting with them on breaks while they roamed the back of my SUV, and snuggles. I am excited to take care of fur babies at your home or mine! I have two cats of my own, a calico (7 yrs old) and a Siamese mix (6 yrs old), and they are amazing! 😻 I have a fenced in backyard and swimming pool (which can also be fenced off if desired by pet parent). I can feed, water, do short walks, and give medicine or eye drops (to compliant pets). I have 2 cats and am happy to provide care to cat friendly dogs at my home or I can come to yours. I’m available M-F 8-4 and for overnight stays.

About: I’ve always been the go to, dependable person for my family and friends when they need a dog or cat sitter. I’ve watched many different sizes and breeds of dogs. I’ll care for them as if they’re my own! I work from home so I’m able to be available anytime to let your dogs out, go for walks, feed them, etc. I can be very flexible on short notice as well! I respect others property and treat the fur babies as my own. I am punctual, dependable and detail oriented. I’m big on communication and will gladly share updates and pictures anytime I watch your pet.

About: I have had dogs in my house my whole life, and for the past few years, I have been dog-sitting for numerous families for long periods of time. I am equipped to walk, let out, feed, administer medications, play, and take care of any other needs your dog may have. I work as a caregiver on Saturdays and Sundays for 6 hours each day, but otherwise, I can spend the rest of my time with your pup. I make it a priority to get any instructions my clients may have regarding their pup and make sure to follow them. I also make sure that I am always in earshot when in the home with the dog so that if anything happens, I can quickly act.

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets throughout the years, some have been special needs or needed extra attention and medication, so I have a lot of experience with pets that have special needs. I always take care to read instructions and procedures and try to make the experience as painless as possible for our furry friends. I’m currently on a break from work so my time and schedule are flexible for all the fluffy clients for whatever they need. Long walks, short walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, I can do it all. Everyone’s home needs to be respected, I will make sure that clients feel comfortable with me being in their homes and taking care of their cats and like my grandma used to say “take care, stay in your lane, and clean it up if you can”.

About: Growing up I had a sweet little fur baby named Bruno. He was a pug and my whole life. My family and I loved him so much after rescuing him he lived to be almost 16 years of age! Since then, I spent many weekends dog or cat sitting as well as working at a doggy daycare, called Paws for a brief period of time where I was able to hone in my skills. Daily/weekly pet care comes from observing the comfort and behaviors of each pet. There are a big dog park just around the corner of my apartment as well as a hiking route I love to take dogs to run around with. It's a perfect place to go for a few hours so that your fur babys can have the most fun! Safety and trust are the most important part of having an animal in my home. I want to make sure your fur baby is given everything they need so they can enjoy their time with me. Animals lives are short, and they deserve the best with the time they have.

About: I have always had dogs my whole life growing up. Recently our two dogs have gone through a board and train program and I have learned alot from that! I’m currently working a full time job. I am available in the afternoons usually and could do pop in visit during the day depending on the time. I am usually available after 5pm for sure but can work out times during the day that would work! I have a fenced in yard on my property. I can take your dog for a walk ; let them out for potty breaks however you usually do. I can Crate your dog as I have experience with that as well.
