I’ve been caring for dogs for over 30 years and specialize in senior care, special-needs dogs, and pets who need a calm, attentive environment. From puppies to end-of-life comfort care, I’ve provided around-the-clock support, medication administration, and gentle companionship tailored to each dog’s needs. I take only one client at a time, allowing me to provide focused, individualized care. My home is quiet, non-smoking, and pet-friendly, with a fenced yard and plenty of opportunities for rest, routine, and affection. I’m home throughout the day, which means your pet will never be left alone for long stretches. I provide frequent potty breaks, daily exercise as appropriate, and regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I also offer in-home dog sitting, as many pets feel most comfortable staying in familiar surroundings. Whether your dog needs extra patience, medication support, or simply a calm presence, my goal is always the same: to make your pet feel safe, cared for, and at ease while you’re away. Before every stay, I take time to learn about your dog’s routines, behaviors, medical needs, and any concerns you may have, so care is consistent and stress-free for everyone involved.

We had a great experience with Joylyn and would definitely book with her again. She took excellent care of our dog while we were away and gave us real peace of mind. She was very communicative, sent regular updates, and it was clear our dog was well cared for and comfortable. She also took great care of our home by bringing in our mail and packages and even emptied our basement dehumidifier while we were gone. We came home to a happy dog and a well cared for house. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and attentive sitter.

Schedule
Pet care is my primary focus, and I intentionally limit the number of clients I accept so I can provide attentive, individualized care. Because I’m home throughout the day, I’m able to offer consistent supervision, timely potty breaks, medication administration, and companionship. I provide both in-home pet sitting and boarding, depending on what best supports each pet’s comfort and well-being.

I provide calm, attentive care in a clean, quiet, and pet-friendly environment. My home is a single-level ranch with a securely fenced yard, ideal for dogs of all ages—especially seniors. I have two resident cats who are accustomed to dogs; however, visiting dogs stay in a separate area of the home to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. When caring for pets in their own homes, I follow established routines closely to maintain familiarity, reduce stress, and ensure continuity of care.
A typical day
Daily care is tailored to each pet’s age, energy level, and health needs. Activities may include calm neighborhood walks, supervised yard time, enrichment through gentle play or mental stimulation, and ample rest. For dogs who enjoy and are suited for outings, we may visit a nearby park or enjoy a quiet walk by the lake.
