“I can’t say enough good things about Kaleigh. She’s prompt, thorough, and informative. This was my first time leaving the care of my cats with someone besides a family member. Kaleigh quickly put my mind at ease with her daily updates. I would 100% rebook with her in the future.”

About: I’ve been around all sorts of furry friends, flighty friends, and the scaley ones ect. The love and passion I have has always set me aside from most and I’ve also gathered many different experiences in the animal care field. In my growing path, I’ve worked for the Lorain County Metroparks multiple times and have been volunteering with animals since the age of 16! Pet care fits great into my daily routine due to my part-time career currently and my passion for the animal care field!! I also have 5+ years of animal handling experience/ dieting❤️ I have a fenced in yard all around and also pay attention to daily behaviors and movements. Also prioritize outdoor time and play time as well.
“Julia was so awesome and flexible!! I had some concerns with booking a pet sitter at an apartment complex, but Julia made things go incredibly smooth! Will definitely be using her again.”

“10 out of 10! I was out of state to visit family, and C.P. was so great about sending daily photos/ updates of when he was dropping by. Will definitely be booking him again!”

“Casey did a great job with our elderly cat, especially helping to work on her grooming issues. He also notified us of a power outage and offered to make an extra trip to check on our house. I highly recommend him!”

“My pups love Devon! I also foster and she’s up for taking care of 3 dogs if I need her to. She is easy to communicate with, reliable, and provides great care for my pups. Highly recommend!”

“Jordan did a great job taking care of our two fussy cats during a very crazy week of winter storms. If you want somebody who really understands how to take of cats, he’s your guy!”

“Just wanted to say nothing but the best !!! Was a little nervous leaving my babies with someone i didn't know but Kerry made it easy not to worry went on a 3 day trip and my boys are a little shy and scared of people they dont know but by their second visit you couldn't tell the boys loved them. Would 100% have Kerry watch in on my boys on our next trip and future trips we take. Kerry you and your partner are the best ! Thank you for being so good to our boys !!!”

“Shadia has been very helpful with my dog Stella. Stella doesn’t go up the deck stairs and Shadia assists when I have to go out of town with getting her back in the house. She has been a stress saver for my family.”

“Mauren and Josh sent lots of pictures and details and it was clear our dogs enjoyed spending time with them. They did a great job and we will hire them again when we need help! Thanks for working with us!”

“Maddie is fantastic! She is prompt in her communication and so good with my pets, especially my dog who can be anxious around new people. She was patient, gentle and worked to win my dog over. I will definitely hire her again and encourage you to do the same.”

“Hannah was great! We have a new puppy and she helped out with some drop-in visits while I was at work. I have two older dogs as well, so they were happy to get some attention too. My pup is still learning potty training and had an accident in the crate one of the days. Hannah cleaned up the crate and the puppy while she was there so she could be comfortable for the second half of the day. I will definitely be booking Hannah again!”
About: For in-home doggy daycare, I will make sure the doggies are played with, pet, and fed. I have a lot of love to give! If I am checking in on your dog in your own home I will make sure they feel some love that day and are given the attention they deserve. I have had animals my whole life from horses to dogs to chickens. I have had large dog breeds weighing over 150 lbs (caucasian Shepherds) and small beagles. Your dog will have potty breaks as often as they need, I have a very large yard for them to play in. With your permission and weather permitting they will be out as often as they would like! Dog park visits with prior approval after first stay. I currently work partly remote. I will only accept overnight care for animals that I can be home with also during the day. For visiting I’m wrapped up by 4, and have plenty of time for walks and visits. Love and respect go a long way for me! I try to treat animals as kindly and respectfully as we can. Safety is a huge part of my beliefs and will take the utmost responsibility to ensure all pups are safe. We take things slowly to make sure all humans and dogs are safe and happy.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
