About: I had the pleasure of raising my German Shepherd for 8 years. He sadly crossed the rainbow bridge April 2025 from hemangiosarcoma. Jax was my baby but had a variety of health problems that have allowed me to have a deep knowledge of how to care for dogs. We adopted Trixie, our sweet pittie shortly after! She is the most snuggly lapdog! I am watchful with dogs and promise your dog will enjoy his or her time with Trixie, Terian, our kitty Coco and me! I have walked friends' and neighbors' dogs and provided overnight and short-term dog sitting for various breeds. Jax completed advanced obedience school, giving me extensive experience with the training process. I also am a certified behavior therapist who uses positive reinforcement to increase desired behavior. I am currently working in office, but I have the availability to come home during the day if your pup requires extra walks! I am typically gone for 7 hours Monday-Friday but come home at lunch to walk the dogs. My husband is WFH so your baby will always have someone home! At our house, your pup will have plenty of room to play. We have a large backyard. We also are more than happy to take the pups to a Dog Park to get out any extra energy. I have a small 5lbs Chihuahua named Pinky, she likes cats and medium to small dogs (big dogs make her a little nervous, but we are working on that). Pinky is crate trained, so if your fur baby is crate trained I'll have no problem letting them out in the morning, and putting them in at night. If you have a senior animal, or an animal that needs medication, let me know all of the care details, so I can keep them on schedule and keep them comfortable and cared for!

About: I have loved dogs my whole life despite not being aloud to have any growing up. My parents just didn’t have the same love for animals as I did. Any chance I got I would go to friends houses or family’s houses and give their dogs love. It was very clear what my plan was after moving out of my mom’s house. Me and my now husband moved in together and very shortly after adopted our fur baby Luna!! Almost a year later we decided to add to the family and we got our other fur baby Salem. We do plan on putting up a temporary fence around our back patio. Your dogs will get the same amount of attention and care as ours. My toddler is also very gentle with dogs of all sizes and if needed for older dogs we have child gates to create separate spaces. While yes, my husband and toddler are part of the household, I will be the sole caretaker of any dogs that I sit and that will not change. If it does change, my profile will be updated to a joint profile with my husband.

About: Growing up, we always had multiple dogs that were my responsibility to care for, and I loved every moment of it! I have spent the last several years helping my family and friends with watching, caring for, and walking their dogs when need - I'm the go-to person for them because they know their fury friends are in good hands with me! I have two cats of my own (one male and one female - both spayed/neutered), but I do not have any dogs of my own. I work full time - typically Monday-Friday away from home from 8:30amuntil between 3-5:30pm. Occasionally I work a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday, but this is the typical. If your home is near my work, I usually am available to do walks or check-ins on my lunchbreak. I have a small, non-fenced, yard that works well for quick outside potty breaks but live in an area that is good for dog walks. I have a decent sized home, so any size dog would feel comfortable playing inside. All pets are welcome on the couch - especially for cuddle time - and I have a spare bedroom where they would be welcome in the bed. I have space to hold dog crates if your dog is more comfortable in their own space for sleep.

My husband & I recently moved to Elyria however we previously lived in Cleveland Heights where I worked at a local dog boarding and daycare center where I was responsible for the well being of upwards of 35-50 dogs, ensuring each and every dog was able to relax in their new environment, providing all meals and medication as well as ensuring the safety of all social dogs in a group together. This position gave me the most valuable knowledge possible and has solidified my idea that stress free care is one of the most important things I can do for the pets entrusted in my care. My husband & I currently own 3 cats and they are all our world and best friends; while I love all animals, dogs are my true passion however and I have extensive experience with many different breeds, sizes, temperaments, energy drives, worker breeds/service dogs, etc. I am also able to provide you with the comfort of knowing all medications and health needs will be met, as I have plenty of experience providing care for senior/health compromised dogs that follow a strict medication/feeding schedule. I am very comfortable with administering shots, pill shoots as well as old fashion 'pilling' a dog with some PB! After the pandemic and working an office job remotely for 2 years, I have stepped aside from that life and am looking to focus more on spending my days enjoying my passion: taking care of your pup and creating a relaxed, stress free experience for you both. I have a background in customer service so bringing you peace of mind, going above and beyond, and creating special experiences is something im happy to be able to do! This is my full time position so you don't need to worry about my schedule pulling me in different directions; there is extra security with my dog experienced/dog obsessed husband being close by and able to help in an kind of possible emergency that might keep me from my usual schedule. I treat house-sitting as if I am working from home and I will not be away from your pets for longer than 4-5hrs at a time, and am happy to/prefer to spend the night so your pet/home aren't alone or unsupervised. If I am in your home you can find peace in the fact that not only your pets will be safe but your home is protected as well! I treat others homes just as sacredly as ones pets, and I am more than happy to take in all mail/packages, water your plants, be home for any needed maintenance or to alert you of any home changes or emergencies. I also have extensive knowledge of what to do for all weather emergencies as well such as tornado warnings, winter storms, heavy flooding etc and you can rest easy on your vacation knowing that your pet is safe and all steps are taken to ensure your home and pet will stay protected!

About: I have had dogs in my house my whole life, and for the past few years, I have been dog-sitting for numerous families for long periods of time. I am equipped to walk, let out, feed, administer medications, play, and take care of any other needs your dog may have. I work as a caregiver on Saturdays and Sundays for 6 hours each day, but otherwise, I can spend the rest of my time with your pup.
