She even helped get the downstairs temperature back to 76 degrees. When she realized the upstairs was still much too hot for the dogs to be crated overnight, she didn't hesitate to offer to spend the night with them—without us even asking. That level of care, compassion, and dedication is something you simply can't teach. Knowing she was there with our dogs allowed us to relax, even though we were so far from home. She did an amazing job caring for both of our pups—our 150-pound lap dog and our demanding little pitty! They absolutely adored her, and it's obvious she genuinely loves the animals she cares for. If you're looking for someone who is dependable, caring, communicative, and willing to go above and beyond, Marissa is the one. We will absolutely be using her again, even for short day trips. My husband & I recently moved to Elyria however we previously lived in Cleveland Heights where I worked at a local dog boarding and daycare center where I was responsible for the well being of upwards of 35-50 dogs, ensuring each and every dog was able to relax in their new environment, providing all meals and medication as well as ensuring the safety of all social dogs in a group together. This position gave me the most valuable knowledge possible and has solidified my idea that stress free care is one of the most important things I can do for the pets entrusted in my care. My husband & I currently own 3 cats and they are all our world and best friends; while I love all animals, dogs are my true passion however and I have extensive experience with many different breeds, sizes, temperaments, energy drives, worker breeds/service dogs, etc. I am also able to provide you with the comfort of knowing all medications and health needs will be met, as I have plenty of experience providing care for senior/health compromised dogs that follow a strict medication/feeding schedule. I am very comfortable with administering shots, pill shoots as well as old fashion 'pilling' a dog with some PB! After the pandemic and working an office job remotely for 2 years, I have stepped aside from that life and am looking to focus more on spending my days enjoying my passion: taking care of your pup and creating a relaxed, stress free experience for you both. I treat house-sitting as if I am working from home and I will not be away from your pets for longer than 4-5hrs at a time, and am happy to/prefer to spend the night so your pet/home aren't alone or unsupervised. If I am in your home you can find peace in the fact that not only your pets will be safe but your home is protected as well! I treat others homes just as sacredly as ones pets, and I am more than happy to take in all mail/packages, water your plants, be home for any needed maintenance or to alert you of any home changes or emergencies. I also have extensive knowledge of what to do for all weather emergencies as well such as tornado warnings, winter storms, heavy flooding etc and you can rest easy on your vacation knowing that your pet is safe and all steps are taken to ensure your home and pet will stay protected!

About: I have a 9mo newfound as well as a 10yo French bulldog. They alone have given me lots of “practice” with a range of dog ages and sizes. Aside from my babies, I have always dog/ cat sat for my grandparents and close friends/family I am currently a full time nursing student. I also work per-diem at a local hospital. During this semester my availability will differ with mostly mornings/ early afternoons and weekends being open I have a vehicle to get your pup to and from where they need to go and lots of leashes/ treats to keep them occupied

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs and cats for most of my life. My life has been enriched by caring for kittens, puppies, adults, and seniors. I’ve given pills and eye drops to both cats and dogs. I love playing with cats and dogs and seeing them happy! It would be an honor to care for your pet. I’m the owner/operator of a new pet transportation business and have taken care of puppies during 200+ mile trips. This includes giving them water and food, cleaning them and their crate up (if they got carsick ☹️), sitting with them on breaks while they roamed the back of my SUV, and snuggles. I have two cats of my own, a calico (7 yrs old) and a Siamese mix (6 yrs old), and they are amazing! 😻 I have a fenced in backyard and swimming pool (which can also be fenced off if desired by pet parent). I can feed, water, do short walks, and give medicine or eye drops (to compliant pets). I have 2 cats and am happy to provide care to cat friendly dogs at my home or I can come to yours. I’m available M-F 8-4 and for overnight stays.

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets throughout the years, some have been special needs or needed extra attention and medication, so I have a lot of experience with pets that have special needs. I always take care to read instructions and procedures and try to make the experience as painless as possible for our furry friends. I’m currently on a break from work so my time and schedule are flexible for all the fluffy clients for whatever they need. Long walks, short walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, I can do it all. Everyone’s home needs to be respected, I will make sure that clients feel comfortable with me being in their homes and taking care of their cats and like my grandma used to say “take care, stay in your lane, and clean it up if you can”.

About: I have had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. I took care of our dog for at least 5 years up until he passed away. I have been learning to train dogs as well. I currently work full time, Monday through Friday, and I have extra time and love to give to dogs that need a place to stay. I have a partially fenced in yard that is on the process of being fixed/finished. I can easily separate dogs if needed. I will provide walks as long as weather permits.

About: Growing up I had a sweet little fur baby named Bruno. He was a pug and my whole life. My family and I loved him so much after rescuing him he lived to be almost 16 years of age! Since then, I spent many weekends dog or cat sitting as well as working at a doggy daycare, called Paws for a brief period of time where I was able to hone in my skills. Daily/weekly pet care comes from observing the comfort and behaviors of each pet. There are a big dog park just around the corner of my apartment as well as a hiking route I love to take dogs to run around with. It's a perfect place to go for a few hours so that your fur babys can have the most fun! Safety and trust are the most important part of having an animal in my home. I want to make sure your fur baby is given everything they need so they can enjoy their time with me. Animals lives are short, and they deserve the best with the time they have.
