A typical day
My dogs get plenty of exercise everyday and I can pretty much guarantee that your pup will come home tired! We have lots of ball throwing time during the day as well as dog walks from time to time.

I've been a loving pet owner all my life. My 2 dogs are spoiled and LOVE the company of other dogs. Your pet's stay with us will be lots of fun and they might not want to leave! My house is your dog's house! Privately tucked away and far removed from any busy streets, my house is the perfect home away from home for your fur babies. Your pups will enjoy over a half acre of open, grassy space surrounded by beautiful trees to run, play, and safely explore in, and a cozy, warm home where they can snuggle up and rest after a full day of fun. I will keep in touch with you and send pics as often as you'd like, and you will be comforted to know that your dog is receiving the best care possible. I am TOTALLY flexible with your needs!

Derek is an excellent communicator! We are so thankful to Derek for taking such great care of our pup, Mango, while we were away for a week. We had a hard time finding the right dog sitter and did several meet-and-greets before we found Derek. He made us feel comfortable and confident that Mango would be in good hands. On the first day we dropped Mango off, I was honestly so anxious because it was our first time leaving her with a new dog sitter. But Derek immediately started sending us updates and photos throughout the day. It almost felt like we were never away from our pup. Throughout the entire week, Derek consistently kept us updated with pictures and messages. One day, he even prepared a fresh batch of poached walleye for his dogs and included Mango in their special “culinary experience.” It was such a thoughtful and fun surprise, and it showed how much he genuinely cares for every dog in his care. When we picked Mango up, she was so happy, and it was obvious she had an amazing time with Derek and his sweet dogs, Emma and Ruthie. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares for your pet and keeps you informed every step of the way, I highly recommend Derek.
