9. Patricia W.
“I've known Patricia for over 40 years and she has always been an avid animal hunter. She's had many dogs and cats who she considered and treated like family. When I first met her she was working in the horse stables and was a great rider. She bonds with animals and they with her. She can read their personalities somehow so always seems to know how to approach them. Over the years she has been a houseguest many many times and she's respectful, helpful and very clean. She is a woman of faith and integrity and I wouldn't hesitate to entrust my home and canine children or my grandchildren to her care. She's a wonderful, bright and fun person, and highly reponsible.”

“Sharon will always be my first choice to watch my fur babies! With her Animal Science background and her volunteer work with various animal organizations, there is no one I trust more to care for my pets.”

About: Professionally, I have 5 years of experience watching animals. Much more with personal experience, having owned animals almost my whole life on and off. I also fostered puppies, and recently adopted a 15 week old lab mix. (8 months old now) She is very friendly and also loves cats (the white lab with freckles in most pics). I also have 2 cats that are VERY good with dogs. Cats take more time, but I have cat rooms with cat walls, and spaces to separate if necessary. They will get all the love and care they need. Some cats adjust same day and fit right in. Some take more time, or don’t want to be bothered during their stay. Either way, we make sure to take very good care of them. I have a lot more experience with smaller/medium breeds, and prefer small to medium dogs. Our home is big with plenty of space, and we have a park close to us that we enjoy walking to often. I am fairly active, so they will get plenty of excercise between myself, husband and kids for dogs staying overnight. I work from home, so am very flexible around school drop offs and pickups. I can take 1-2 dogs overnight, and I promise they will get the love and attention they need. I have 1 older girl who help me keep a close eye on things. For dogs that get into things, we block off back rooms to keep them close for safety reasons. We have baby gates and clean very well before visits.
13. Ashley Y.
“Ashley is one of the most animal loving person that I know. She takes great care of her many animals and is always researching the best food & treats for her pets. She's worked in pet stores in the past where she received training on feeding various animals. She is meticulous and likes to keep things cleaned/organized. Would absolutely trust her with my animals.”
14. Kristen C.

About: I had a friend who needed my help with dog walking and dog sitting. I am looking to further serve the animals in my community. I currently work part-time with two kids at home and am wanting to get out to care for our community animals with my two littles. I do my best to leave any place looking better than when I arrived. I will take care of your animals as if they were my own - with love.

18. Brooke L.
About: My name is Brooke and I am a full time MLT student at Sandhills. I have been dog sitting on the side as well as babysitting to get me the money I need through college. I love all animals and would love to help in any way needed. I have had multiple dogs and cats growing up so I am used to animals. I do overnight stays as well as just checking in daily on animals. My school hours at 9am -12pm Tuesday through Thursday so my schedule is very flexible. I do well with all sizes of dogs and all breeds. I also love cats and other animals that a family might have. I hope I can be of use! Thanks very much!

About: I have always loved caring for animals and have recently landed my dream job as a veterinary technician. I often get asked by my clients about in home boarding in our area, so I decided to offer that service myself. I recently built my home on an acre and a half of land where my own pups enjoy playing and training. I have been working with animals since I was 15 starting with pet sitting. I went on to work at boarding facilities, taking care of working canines, to now working in veterinary medicine. I currently work 2 days out of the week. The rest of the week I am taking care of pets in need of boarding, playtime or socialization. I have a spacious fenced in yard and a cozy home for your pets to enjoy during their stay. I have 3 friendly labs and 2 calm cats that can either interact with or be separated from your animals. I have taken a heat safety class as well has an aggression and restraint class at my previous job taking care of working canines. As a veterinary technician, you see all sorts of situations gone wrong, so I keep a close eye on all of my pets at all times.
