About: Like everyone else on this app, I love dogs, and grew up with German Shepherds However, I started on the rover app because I wanted to provide something I thought was missing… reliable pet care for high energy and athletic dogs. I travel a lot and the last thing I want to worry about is if my 70 pound GSD is wearing out the kind old lady I left her with because that’s who was available. Rest assured, if you leave your dog with me for work or for play, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. Need daily runs or multiple walks a day? Good. We run every day. Need yard play time? Not a problem. Extra belly rubs? Easy. Is your Dog a couch potato? I have a couch and have happy to give rubs and chill out. The point is, weather for a week or a weekend, if you leave your dog with me, you can focus on where ever your travels are taking you. I have a pretty demanding full time job. I’m only available for boarding in my home. If I’m home, your dog has 100% of my focus. I have a very well trained and very social GSD and a large fenced in yard. About: My Persian Himalayan (Snuggles) was 15 when he passed away. I now have a 14-year-old Domestic (Bagheera) who has traveled with me and lived in Florida, New York, North Carolina, and a treehouse in Hawai'i for the last 5 years. We rescued the baby (Boo) a year ago in a parking lot in Hawai'i with a broken leg. He was 5 weeks old so I am familiar with administering oral medication now as well as eye drops.
About: I've had experience in handling and providing care for cats of all temperaments from my own to working with boarding cats at kennels and the SPCA. I am comfortable adminstering medicine through food or using a pill pusher or pill pockets. Growing up one of my cats had issues with her kidneys and I administered her pills with a pusher as it was the only way to reliability know she received her life saving medicine every morning. I have a young cat of my own who is a bit on the spunky side but I love him reguardless of all the sass! At the SPCA I made sure all our cats in the facility were fed and had a clean kennel. I enjoyed free time providing enrichment through play or for the more shy cats sitting quietly and allowing them to come and go as they pleased.

About: Professionally, I have 5 years of experience watching animals. Much more with personal experience, having owned animals almost my whole life on and off. I also fostered puppies, and recently adopted a 15 week old lab mix. (8 months old now) She is very friendly and also loves cats (the white lab with freckles in most pics). I also have 2 cats that are VERY good with dogs. Cats take more time, but I have cat rooms with cat walls, and spaces to separate if necessary. They will get all the love and care they need. Some cats adjust same day and fit right in. Some take more time, or don’t want to be bothered during their stay. Either way, we make sure to take very good care of them. I have a lot more experience with smaller/medium breeds, and prefer small to medium dogs. Our home is big with plenty of space, and we have a park close to us that we enjoy walking to often. I am fairly active, so they will get plenty of excercise between myself, husband and kids for dogs staying overnight. I work from home, so am very flexible around school drop offs and pickups. I can take 1-2 dogs overnight, and I promise they will get the love and attention they need. I have 1 older girl who help me keep a close eye on things. For dogs that get into things, we block off back rooms to keep them close for safety reasons. We have baby gates and clean very well before visits.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Growing up I was around breeds such as Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Chows, German Shepards, Poodles and Lhasa Apsos. The first time I became a dog mom was to Zoe, a Bichon Frise. I lived in Chicago at the time in an apartment so I had to walk her multiple times a day. Bichons also need a lot of maintenance with their fur, so I’m very familiar with grooming methods of that type of breed. After Zoe, I became a dog mom to a Pit Bull/German Shepherd puppy, Garner. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and had him for 13.5 years. I understand the level of care a puppy needs as well as a senior dog. I’m also very familiar with handling large breeds on a leash. I understand how a pet is part of the family and I will show your dog lots of love and affection, just like I would my own. I am available Monday-Friday 8am-2pm then from 6pm-8pm. I’m available 7am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please contact me if you need help outside of those times and I can try to work with you. I’m not able to keep your dog in my home, but I will always make sure your dog is safe in your home. I will always follow your safety protocols.

About: I’ve cared for every animal that fits under 4 walls and a roof since I was young! Everything from rehabbing wild animals to livestock to companion animals. My passion for animals knows no bounds and has propelled into my current career (I’m in veterinary school at “The”Ohio State University). All this means is I’m well qualified and prepared to care for and treat your pet as it were my own! I’m currently am at OSU for Vet School and have a pretty flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to care and attend to your fur babies! Having lived in this area for several years I’m very well versed in the possible dangerous and safe spaces for your pet. I’ve also been trained and certified on safe engagement and handling practices of nervous or reactive animals so you can be sure that your pet will safe and caring hands no matter their temperament.
About: I Love dogs! I enjoy meeting new dogs and puppies I love playing with them and petting them, the attention and affection they need for dog sitting will always be there! I Have had chihuahuas and poodles in the past and just recently got a medium size pup he is 8 months old and I am currently sharing custody with my fiancé we both are currently in the military and stationed at different military duty stations he is in Fort Bragg NC and I here in Fort Lee VA. So to fill the void of missing my little baby boy when he is not home I would love to enjoy the company of other dogs or And even while he’s here he can make pup friends too!
