Our dogs are a little high maintenance (one has some behavioral issues and the other has special needs) and she was more than happy to take care of them. In the past when we’ve had a poor experience with other walkers my dogs are stressed when I get home. Every time Kris has taken care of my dogs they seem so calm and content! She leaves detailed notes about the visit and sends lots of pictures, which I appreciate. She also stopped by to meet them beforehand to make sure it was a good fit. About: Professionally, I have 5 years of experience watching animals. Much more with personal experience, having owned animals almost my whole life on and off. I also fostered puppies, and recently adopted a 15 week old lab mix. (8 months old now) She is very friendly and also loves cats (the white lab with freckles in most pics). I also have 2 cats that are VERY good with dogs. Cats take more time, but I have cat rooms with cat walls, and spaces to separate if necessary. They will get all the love and care they need. Some cats adjust same day and fit right in. Some take more time, or don’t want to be bothered during their stay. Either way, we make sure to take very good care of them. I have a lot more experience with smaller/medium breeds, and prefer small to medium dogs. Our home is big with plenty of space, and we have a park close to us that we enjoy walking to often. I am fairly active, so they will get plenty of excercise between myself, husband and kids for dogs staying overnight. I work from home, so am very flexible around school drop offs and pickups. I can take 1-2 dogs overnight, and I promise they will get the love and attention they need. I have 1 older girl who help me keep a close eye on things. For dogs that get into things, we block off back rooms to keep them close for safety reasons. We have baby gates and clean very well before visits.

About: Hello! I'm a 40yo female and long time animal lover. I had a small farm in Texas and I've always had xlarge breed dogs since being on my own. I am well versed in handling dogs and any protective behaviors, as well as any exercise level you need supported. I also have done shots (in horses), giving pills, and handling any ointments your pets may need. My current schedule is open, so I can come to you, whenever it's needed. I am currently working on a Bachelor's Degree and have a very flexible schedule; I can do walks and overnight stays to keep your pet comfortable whenever you need. My pets always had a schedule, so I'm happy to help keep you and your pets stay on a regular schedule. I am used to dogs needing walks and meal time in the mornings and the evenings, as well as some breaks in the afternoon; just let me know your needs and we'll get it worked out.

About: I am a lifelong l lover of all animals. As a kid I had dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and fish. As often as I could be, I was outside looking for all types of animals and exploring nature. Currently I have 3 dogs, a cat, and 2 beautiful little girls. One of my dogs is diabetic and I have to administer insulin daily. I have a lot of experience caring for many animals with different dietary and health needs. Right now, I am a stay at home dad. My wife is off work for the Summer, so I will have time available to help care for your pets. My children will also be starting pre-school in the Fall so I will have plenty of time available for pet visits. I am very detail oriented, and will make sure I care for your pets how you prefer, and follow your instructions to the best of my ability. I currently have two daughters in elementary school. I drop-off and pickup every day from school. I am available while they are in school (approx. 8:00AM-2:00PM) and may have availability later in the afternoon some days. I am available for any drop-in visits at client's home (including walking, feeding, and other routine pet care) but, am not caring for pets at my home at this time.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Growing up I was around breeds such as Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Chows, German Shepards, Poodles and Lhasa Apsos. The first time I became a dog mom was to Zoe, a Bichon Frise. I lived in Chicago at the time in an apartment so I had to walk her multiple times a day. Bichons also need a lot of maintenance with their fur, so I’m very familiar with grooming methods of that type of breed. After Zoe, I became a dog mom to a Pit Bull/German Shepherd puppy, Garner. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and had him for 13.5 years. I understand the level of care a puppy needs as well as a senior dog. I’m also very familiar with handling large breeds on a leash. I understand how a pet is part of the family and I will show your dog lots of love and affection, just like I would my own. I am available Monday-Friday 8am-2pm then from 6pm-8pm. I’m available 7am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please contact me if you need help outside of those times and I can try to work with you. I’m not able to keep your dog in my home, but I will always make sure your dog is safe in your home. I will always follow your safety protocols.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve volunteered with shelters and own three of my own for the last 10 years. I’m currently working from home and hoping to get out of the house for a bit by doing drop in visits or dog walks. I’m available to board dogs as well so long as any furry guest gets along with the dogs already in the house. I’m comfortable administering medication so long as instructions are given. I’m certified in canine CPR. Im happy to cater to the needs of your dog and follow any instructions you provide. As im working from home, im available nearly all the time except for a few virtual meetings during the week. Our normal routine is a short walk in the morning, they hang out with me while I work, maybe a walk or a game at lunch, more work from home, then free in the evening for movie nights/parks/bite to eat somewhere dog friendly. I have a fenced yard with a doggy door to the back. I have also converted my office into a dog room with space for extra crate if that’s what is preferred. Animals are allowed on furniture at the owners discretion. I recognize all owners do things a bit differently and I know how worrisome it can be to leave them with a stranger so I want to put your mind at ease by conforming my care to how you prefer.

About: I have always owned dogs of different sizes and breeds! I also have extensive experience with exotics (guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, rabbits, etc), cats, and livestock (chickens, pigs, small ruminants, etc). My education comes from NC State University with a minor in Animal Science, I volunteer regularly with Caring Hearts for Canines, and am a certified Canine Care and Training Instructor though the AKC. I am comfortable giving medications including injections and with basic grooming. I do work as a full time teacher so most of my availability will be weekends and school holidays. Some weekday nights and evenings may be available as well depending on the need. I have a fenced in yard that is close to two acres in size with access to woods for dogs to explore! When caring for animals in your home, I would be happy to follow any requirements to fit your pet's needs including playtime, potty breaks, feeding, bathing, giving medications, etc.

About: I have taken care of pets for 4 years now. I have taken care of other pets, such as goats, guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, and a gecko. I recently earned my Level 1 Certified Veterinary Assistant credential, so if your pet has any medications, like a pill, shot, or anything topical, I know how to administer those. Along with that, I have clinical experience due to my internship at Carthage Animal Hospital. I am free most of the summer, which allows me to have a more flexible schedule to take care of your pet. I also can take care of them at any specific times you need me to. Typically, I try to make sure the pet is well fed and has used the restroom while also playing with them to prevent boredom. I also believe in a safe environment for them, especially on walks or when taken outside, because it is such an important aspect to making sure your pet is protected.
