I recently adopted Tucker and he is very shy around new people. Before the first walk, Shannon took the time to sit with him and get Tucker comfortable with her. After that, he looked forward to the daily walk. I will definitely use Shannon again.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Growing up I was around breeds such as Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Chows, German Shepards, Poodles and Lhasa Apsos. The first time I became a dog mom was to Zoe, a Bichon Frise. I lived in Chicago at the time in an apartment so I had to walk her multiple times a day. Bichons also need a lot of maintenance with their fur, so I’m very familiar with grooming methods of that type of breed. After Zoe, I became a dog mom to a Pit Bull/German Shepherd puppy, Garner. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and had him for 13.5 years. I understand the level of care a puppy needs as well as a senior dog. I’m also very familiar with handling large breeds on a leash. I understand how a pet is part of the family and I will show your dog lots of love and affection, just like I would my own. I am available Monday-Friday 8am-2pm then from 6pm-8pm. I’m available 7am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please contact me if you need help outside of those times and I can try to work with you. I’m not able to keep your dog in my home, but I will always make sure your dog is safe in your home. I will always follow your safety protocols.

About: Hello! I'm a 40yo female and long time animal lover. I had a small farm in Texas and I've always had xlarge breed dogs since being on my own. I am well versed in handling dogs and any protective behaviors, as well as any exercise level you need supported. I also have done shots (in horses), giving pills, and handling any ointments your pets may need. My current schedule is open, so I can come to you, whenever it's needed. I am currently working on a Bachelor's Degree and have a very flexible schedule; I can do walks and overnight stays to keep your pet comfortable whenever you need. My pets always had a schedule, so I'm happy to help keep you and your pets stay on a regular schedule. I am used to dogs needing walks and meal time in the mornings and the evenings, as well as some breaks in the afternoon; just let me know your needs and we'll get it worked out.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve volunteered with shelters and own three of my own for the last 10 years. I’m currently working from home and hoping to get out of the house for a bit by doing drop in visits or dog walks. I’m available to board dogs as well so long as any furry guest gets along with the dogs already in the house. I’m comfortable administering medication so long as instructions are given. I’m certified in canine CPR. Im happy to cater to the needs of your dog and follow any instructions you provide. As im working from home, im available nearly all the time except for a few virtual meetings during the week. Our normal routine is a short walk in the morning, they hang out with me while I work, maybe a walk or a game at lunch, more work from home, then free in the evening for movie nights/parks/bite to eat somewhere dog friendly. I have a fenced yard with a doggy door to the back. I have also converted my office into a dog room with space for extra crate if that’s what is preferred. Animals are allowed on furniture at the owners discretion. I recognize all owners do things a bit differently and I know how worrisome it can be to leave them with a stranger so I want to put your mind at ease by conforming my care to how you prefer.

About: I am a lifelong l lover of all animals. As a kid I had dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and fish. As often as I could be, I was outside looking for all types of animals and exploring nature. About: I was raised with a variety of cats and dogs for 25 years, volunteered in a shelter while I was in school, and helped with herpetological demonstrations and assisted with their care. The last few years I have had further opportunity to care for coworkers' pets as I house sat for fellow nurses traveling . I have sat for everything from dogs and cats to lizards, snakes, fish, rabbits, even horses, pigs, goats, and chickens. I work as a nurse full time which allows me a relatively flexible schedule for drop in visits over the weekdays and and stretches of time off for longer stays. Flexibility is my motto; I am able to drop by for walks or let them out into the yard if there's fencing, all depending on your preference. I can free feed or work off a schedule, ect. I have worked with everyone from those asking me to just stop by to check the house and take in mail, no pets involved, to another asking for overnight stays with an anxious rescue on a feeding regimen and medication requirements.
