About: Hello! I'm a 40yo female and long time animal lover. I had a small farm in Texas and I've always had xlarge breed dogs since being on my own. I am well versed in handling dogs and any protective behaviors, as well as any exercise level you need supported. I also have done shots (in horses), giving pills, and handling any ointments your pets may need. My current schedule is open, so I can come to you, whenever it's needed. I am currently working on a Bachelor's Degree and have a very flexible schedule; I can do walks and overnight stays to keep your pet comfortable whenever you need. My pets always had a schedule, so I'm happy to help keep you and your pets stay on a regular schedule. I am used to dogs needing walks and meal time in the mornings and the evenings, as well as some breaks in the afternoon; just let me know your needs and we'll get it worked out.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me time and time again to look after their pets (and even their plants), and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I share my home with my sweet lab mix, Congo, and my newly adopted cat, Mayo, who bring so much joy into my life. I’ve also spent years house‑sitting and pet‑sitting, and my time working in the local restaurant industry has taught me to be dependable, patient, and attentive. I treat every pet with the same love and comfort I give my own! I’m a local college student with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to give your pets attention, playtime, and consistent care. I follow safe walking practices with secure leash handling and close awareness of my surroundings. I also stick to your dog’s usual training and routine to keep them comfortable.

About: One of the best feelings in the world is being greeted by a dog’s wagging tail—a pure expression of happiness, joy, and love that instantly brightens the day. I grew up with dogs, and from an early age, I learned how much they truly complete a home. I always accommodate my clients' animals daily routines, because their comfort comes first. It’s never about my schedule—it’s about maintaining what they know and trust. Just because their owners are away doesn’t mean their routine should change. I love taking pictures, so you'll have great photos of your animals while you are away. This is my full time job. Nice days don’t go to waste!!! Your pet(s) and I will be outside playing, running around, and a walk around the neighborhood (if allowed). I respect every home by keeping it tidy and cleaning up after myself. If you need a good spring clean and organizing, my services are always available: Dust, vacuum, organize, picking up poop, taking the trash out, grabbing the mail, watering plants, picking weeds… you name it, I will do it!

About: Hi, I’m Aileen! I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom to two Aussiedoodles who are both 7 years old. They’ve taught me everything about caring for smart, active dogs—and how important it is to give them love, structure, and attention. I also have experience with cats! I recently helped care for my friend’s cat, including taking them to the vet and applying eye ointment. I know that cats need a gentle touch and lots of patience, especially when they’re not feeling their best. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or administering medications, I’ll make sure your kitty is well taken care of. I treat every pet like one of my own and understand how important it is to have peace of mind while you’re away. I’m happy to care for dogs, cats, or both—and I can’t wait to meet your furry family! I’m not currently working so I am very available to take care of furry friends of all types and sizes. Five more words needed to submit I will comply with all directions given and be sure that all pets are safe. I encourage owners to review video footage to ensure they know I’m doing exactly as they asked.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Growing up I was around breeds such as Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Chows, German Shepards, Poodles and Lhasa Apsos. The first time I became a dog mom was to Zoe, a Bichon Frise. I lived in Chicago at the time in an apartment so I had to walk her multiple times a day. Bichons also need a lot of maintenance with their fur, so I’m very familiar with grooming methods of that type of breed. After Zoe, I became a dog mom to a Pit Bull/German Shepherd puppy, Garner. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and had him for 13.5 years. I understand the level of care a puppy needs as well as a senior dog. I’m also very familiar with handling large breeds on a leash. I understand how a pet is part of the family and I will show your dog lots of love and affection, just like I would my own. I am available Monday-Friday 8am-2pm then from 6pm-8pm. I’m available 7am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please contact me if you need help outside of those times and I can try to work with you. I’m not able to keep your dog in my home, but I will always make sure your dog is safe in your home. I will always follow your safety protocols.

About: What truly sets me apart as a pet sitter is my proactive, personalized approach to care, combined with a genuine passion for every animal's well-being. While many sitters offer basic feeding and walks, I focus on creating a stress-free and enriching environment that caters to each pet's individual needs. I've been taking care of animals since I was 5 years old. It began with our dogs and has expanded to cats, birds, horses, goats, pigs, etc. as my family purchased a farm. Hi. I am available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturday and Sundays. The times I am available are OPEN. Let me know what works for you. My experience with puppies allows me to seamlessly continue any ongoing house-training or basic obedience work, ensuring consistency during their critical developmental stage. I'm adept at positive reinforcement techniques, helping to reinforce good behaviors and prevent common puppy pitfalls like nipping or jumping. This means your new furry family member won't miss a beat in their learning while you're away. Furthermore, my dedication to senior pet care is a significant differentiator. I understand the unique requirements of older animals, from administering medications (excluding injections) to providing gentle exercise and recognizing subtle signs of discomfort. I'm patient and attentive, ensuring their comfort and maintaining their routine with the utmost sensitivity. I'm also comfortable with mobility assistance and can adapt to any specific health needs your senior pet may have. Beyond these specialized skills, I offer: Proactive Communication: You'll receive regular updates, photos, and videos, so you always feel connected to your pet and have complete peace of mind. I'm quick to communicate any concerns or observations. A Deep Understanding of Animal Behavior: My background has given me insight into reading pet body language, understanding their cues, and responding appropriately, which helps prevent issues and builds a stronger bond. Exceptional Reliability and Trustworthiness: I treat your home and your pets with the same respect and care I would my own, ensuring everything is secure and well-maintained. In essence, I don't just watch pets; I become a temporary, loving extension of your family, dedicated to their happiness, health, and continued well-being.

About: I've grown up caring for multiple breeds of dogs and some cats. I have adopted an older Lab Mix from a kill shelter and he is the sweetest, calm and loving dog. Large dogs are my specialty but I love smaller dogs as well. Caring for them comes natural, on top of giving them plenty of space to run and exercise. I am comfortable giving any dogs medications as I have experience giving my own the same. If there is any specification you'd like for dog boarding, I am more than positive those needs can be met. Walking dogs is an everyday activity I do to keep them mobile and active as well as myself! I just enjoy any type of companionship that comes with caring for dogs! I’m currently working from home which helps allow us to provide full time care for our animals, as well as yours! We’re able to be outside and play anytime throughout the day. We have a large fenced in back yard with lots of room to roam and play outside. With cameras in the front and back yard that helps us keep a close eye on their movement to ensure safety.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
