With 10 years of pet care experience, I’ve learned that every animal is different. I pay attention to the little things—their personalities, habits, comfort levels, and all those quirks that make them them. Some want long walks and plenty of playtime, some are happiest curled up beside me on the couch, and others need a little patience and space before deciding we’re friends. I’m happy to meet them wherever they are. You can count on regular updates, plenty of photos, and communication you won’t have to chase down. Whether I’m there for a 30-minute visit or making your home my home base while you’re away, I take the responsibility seriously. That means thoughtful care for your pets, respect for your home, and attention to the little details that help everything run smoothly. At the end of the day, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pets are in good hands—whether I’m part of their everyday routine or caring for them while you’re away. And yes, they’re probably getting a few extra cuddles along the way. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for rather than trying to squeeze them in around a traditional workday. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening care, whether that’s a regular part of your pet’s weekly routine or a little extra help when you need it. I’m intentional about how I schedule bookings, so I’m not rushing from one pet to the next. For house sitting, I make your home my home base while you’re away and plan my day around your pets and their normal routine. I may come and go throughout the day, just as I would at home, but I’m mindful of how long your pets are comfortable being alone and make sure they get plenty of time, attention, and company. I care for pets in their own home, where they’re usually happiest and most comfortable. I follow your instructions closely and take the time to learn what’s normal for your pet—from their routine and personality to the little things that help them feel safe and settled. I’m mindful of doors, gates, leashes, medications, feeding routines, and any special instructions specific to your pet and home. I’m also respectful of the trust that comes with being welcomed into someone’s home. I’ll care for your space thoughtfully, keep you updated along the way, and pay attention to anything that seems out of the ordinary. My goal is for you to feel confident that both your pets and your home are in good hands.

About: Hello! I'm a 40yo female and long time animal lover. I had a small farm in Texas and I've always had xlarge breed dogs since being on my own. I am well versed in handling dogs and any protective behaviors, as well as any exercise level you need supported. I also have done shots (in horses), giving pills, and handling any ointments your pets may need. My current schedule is open, so I can come to you, whenever it's needed. I am currently working on a Bachelor's Degree and have a very flexible schedule; I can do walks and overnight stays to keep your pet comfortable whenever you need. My pets always had a schedule, so I'm happy to help keep you and your pets stay on a regular schedule. I am used to dogs needing walks and meal time in the mornings and the evenings, as well as some breaks in the afternoon; just let me know your needs and we'll get it worked out.

“Kelly did an outstanding job walking Colt for me on Thursday and Friday mornings this week while my regular dog walker Tara was out of town visiting her daughter at college in Florida. Kelly was right on time every day and she bonded quickly with Colt and she really impressed Tara also when she came over a couple of weeks ago for a meet and greet and walked the route with Tara and Colt. Kelly walked Colt over 2 miles each morning in an hour very consistent with his walks with Tara and myself when I walk him on the weekends. She responded promptly to my request when I first contacted her and Kelly definitely exceeded my expectations!! She is very friendly and courteous and made me feel confident and completely at ease with walking Colt and I’m so glad that she is very physically fit to give Colt great exercise walking in the woods and around the two horse pastures in the early mornings when Colt is feeling his best and most active. I will definitely want and need her assistance again very soon in the near future since Tara travels out of state fairly often to visit her family.”
