About: I have been a dog "mom" for 10 years and before Rover.com I have cared for family's and neighbor's dogs on numerous occasions . I am a HUGE dog lover with a big heart and it would give me great pleasure to spend time caring for your dog (and cat). I teach from home part-time and my schedule is flexible. It does vary week-to-week but if given advance notice, I can make sure to have you scheduled regularly on my calendar for a set time! Weekdays after 7 a.m. and before 3 p.m. is best for me, but I'm of course willing to make exceptions if needed. About: I have tons of experience in doggy day care, and my husband and I moved to the area 3 years ago. He is active duty ARMY, so he can be gone a lot, and what better way to fill the time than with furry friends! I will love your dog like my own. I go to the gym in the morning, than I am home the rest of the day! We will have plenty of time for walks and play time and I hope you meet you and you furry friend soon! Walk and feed in the morning and then feed and a walk after dinner plus the dog gets free roam in and out of the house because we have a fully fenced in yard I’m a stay at home mom with two little kids! They are two and five. We have a huge fenced in yard and I am never gone for more than an hour or two.

“Lucia was outstanding giving Colt an excellent walk every morning during the last two weeks of 2023 leading up to Christmas and New Years when many other dog walkers including the other two ladies who help me with Colt were out of town visiting family members and were unavailable for dog walking and any other services. I was so relieved when Lucia said “yes” to my request to walk Colt the last 14 days of this year consecutively especially since I have been recovering from the flu and sprained ankle injuries this fall. Before I found Lucia several other dog walkers did not respond to my request I’m sure because they had plans for the holidays. Lucia was even willing to come on Christmas morning which really impressed me. Not many other dog walkers are available or interested in helping out during the holidays because they have so many big plans of their own. I will definitely contact Lucia again anytime my other two dog walkers are unavailable or going out of town etc. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a reliable dog walker and she provided very friendly courteous service and she gave me an excellent report on Colt’s status every day. He really bonded with her quickly and I could tell how much he enjoyed spending time with her the last couple of weeks!! I hope that they will get to walk with each other again real soon!”

My family currently has a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog that I only get to see over winter and summer break. And I have experience with puppies (and their shark teeth) as young as 10 weeks old. I am a recent graduate who is working part time as a delivery driver from 3 to 8 on Wednesday Thursday and Friday, so I have plenty of free time to look after your pups and take them on walks! Otherwise, I am a volunteer coach for the Bloomsburg Men’s soccer team from 8 am to 10 am a couple days a week. I have plenty of experience when it comes to letting dogs out and taking care of them.
