“Whitney is wonderful with our pets! She was extra patient with our senior boy and made sure he was cared for and loved on while we were gone. Highly recommend her for your pet needs! ♥️”

“Love Emerald and so did Harry. She was prompt with times agreed upon. Made time to visit and meet Harry prior to our trip. Left detailed follow ups and photos that allowed us to enjoy our time away.”

“I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude for taking care of my K & A. Your dedication, care, and attention to detail made my time away much easier knowing they were in such good hands. It was clear that Annie treated them with care and affection as if they were her own. The updates and photos were reassuring and made me smile and feel at ease. Annie went above and beyond facilitating a smooth process while me being in the hospital. Outstanding communication. She is a reliable and caring dog sitter. You truly made a difference, and I'm so thankful for your help. My babies certainly chose you! ☺️”

About: I have fostered 20+ cats, kittens, and dogs in the past two years. I have experience with animals of all ages, temperaments, and conditions. I also have experience administering medications of all kinds and dealing with all kinds of special issues and circumstances. I am a recent college graduate and have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available for daily visits (early morning and late night included), overnight stays, and one-time visits. I will work with you to create a schedule that is right for your pet! I prioritize a clean and healthy environment for all pets. My dogs at home have a fenced in yard and are crate trained. Cats in my care will have their litter boxes cleaned daily!
“Jennifer has done drop ins for my cats during two periods of time for me now. She is very thoughtful with the updates she leaves me on the report cards and makes sure I know my girls are safe and well taken care of. I also love when she brings her kids along to give my social butterfly of a cat a little extra attention! I will definitely continue booking with Jennifer.”

About: I've had dogs and cats (and everything else in between) for as long as I can remember! I've walked, boarded, and house-sat for cats and dogs of all kinds. I'm in an in-between phase of life and have a very flexible schedule. Let me know how I can help you with your furry friends! Walks/Runs/Drop-ins: I'm currently not working so I am VERY flexible! With that being said, I still like keeping a schedule of some sort. If you are looking for something consistent throughout the week, I'd love to discuss how I can help with a routine that works for you. House-sitting: I've watched up to three dogs for 8 days. I'm open to pretty much anything but would like to meet your pups/cats/other beforehand. I can board but that is dependent on the dog since I have a cat at home. Open to discussion! My home has a fenced in yard for those pups that want to roam.
About: I'm familiar with puppies, kittens, and senior care, and I take care to follow pet-care instructions to the letter! I look forward to opportunities to care for any and all pets with specific needs! I work part time, so I have plenty of time in my day to play with your pets! I'm typically most available in the mornings and the evenings, but my schedule is flexible! I'm used to navigating clients homes! I keep fences closed, water bowls filled, and I make a lot of use of backyards/surrounding neighborhoods for walking and playing!
About: I have 2 high energy dogs (Basenjis, Cleo and Quincy - hounds). I love to walk and I am good with walking difficult high energy dogs. I am semi-retired and have a flexible schedule. I am a morning person and I have lots of time to visit or walk your dog(s). My dogs are not always good with other dogs, so I would come to you to walk and/or take care of or feed your dog.

About: When I was a baby I had a dog making sure I didn’t fall over, and I have grown up with dogs ever since. My family currently has a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog that I only get to see over winter and summer break. And I have experience with puppies (and their shark teeth) as young as 10 weeks old. I am a recent graduate who is working part time as a delivery driver from 3 to 8 on Wednesday Thursday and Friday, so I have plenty of free time to look after your pups and take them on walks! Otherwise, I am a volunteer coach for the Bloomsburg Men’s soccer team from 8 am to 10 am a couple days a week. I have plenty of experience when it comes to letting dogs out and taking care of them. I am the youngest of 3 kids and was the only one home over CoVid with my families two dogs and took care of them. I have a vehicle so I am able to travel to your house to play with and take care of your furry child!
About: My background spans everything from energetic puppies to sweet seniors. I do not just monitor pets, I actively engage them. I focus on positive reinforcement, structure, and maintaining your exact home routine. Owners trust me because I treat their pets like my own. You will receive consistent updates, clear communication, and total peace of mind while you are away. Because I work from home, your pet receives my full attention. My flexible routine ensures consistent neighborhood walks, frequent potty breaks, and dedicated companionship all day long. Whether you need overnight boarding, interactive playdates, daily walking, or quick potty breaks, I easily accommodate your schedule. I offer a safe home environment with one friendly dog for constant companionship. Our routine includes daily leashed neighborhood walks and optional off-leash socialization trips to Martin Dog Park. I also provide secure crating at night for a safe, restful sleep.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me time and time again to look after their pets (and even their plants), and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I share my home with my sweet lab mix, Congo, and my newly adopted cat, Mayo, who bring so much joy into my life. I’ve also spent years house‑sitting and pet‑sitting, and my time working in the local restaurant industry has taught me to be dependable, patient, and attentive. I treat every pet with the same love and comfort I give my own! I’m a local college student with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to give your pets attention, playtime, and consistent care. I follow safe walking practices with secure leash handling and close awareness of my surroundings. I also stick to your dog’s usual training and routine to keep them comfortable.
“Melissa has been a great help for us with weekly check-ins for our puppy. She's responsive to messages, sends pics of the pup, and graciously cleans up after our little gal if necessary. We're so thankful to have found her services! :)”

“Mary is so awesome and we love when she takes care of our dogs! She is super responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure our dogs were ok even in the midst of some bad winter weather! Can’t recommend enough!”
About: I love dogs so much that my doormat says, “Dogs Welcome, People Tolerated.” (Ha!) I’m a responsible, trustworthy professional who grew up surrounded by dogs, horses, and all sorts of farm critters. I’ve worked as a vet tech and trained hunting and scent-detection dogs, so I know how to handle everything from high-energy pups to sugar-faced seniors. I also have decades of experience training and competing horses, which makes me equally comfortable doing barn chores. During the work week I take care of pets both early mornings and evenings and provide mid-day potty breaks. On weekends and holidays I am flexible and offer longer walks or hikes and different enrichment activities.I enjoy taking boarders to local SniffSpots to run and play. I care for pets where they are most comfortable, whether that is in their own home or with me. I live in a bottom floor apartment (no stairs for senior dogs) and do not have a fenced-in yard, but take lots of leashed walks (rain or shine) and also have access to a private dog park for off-leash playtime. One adult dog lives in the home, he is neutered and plays well with other dogs. Due to insurance restrictions, I cannot take dogs that are aggressive, dominant, chewers/destroy furniture or bark a lot (or refuse to stop barking when asked).

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Whispering Pines
Hannah is the best! This is the second time she has taken care of our dogs for us and she was amazing. She took care of all their needs and really made them feel loved. We were gone for a few days and she was great at communicating with us and letting us know how everything was going and we could tell our two little buddies were so happy. She is definitely at the top of the list when we need someone on Rover!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
