About: I’ve had experience with the chillest of dogs to the most anxious and cautious. Growing up on a farm, I’ve had experience with numerous breeds with various needs. From fun-loving golden retrievers, to extremely anxious Australian Shepards and protective Pitbulls, I’ve learned how to handle a wide variety of dogs. I work from home and can be flexible with me schedule. Early morning check-ins, lunch break play dates, afternoon walks, evening entertainment - I’m your girl! I have a cat of my own who I would die for, so I know how important pets are to the people who love them! I also know how stressful it can be to leave them behind, especially when they’re used to having their person around. When caring for your pet, I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep their routine as normal as possible, and give them the attention and enrichment they need. Every pet is different and I love getting to know their personality! I’ve cared for anxious pets that need extra reassurance, cuddle bugs, playful pets that want attention all day, and pets are happiest having their own space. Growing up with numerous cats and dogs, along with pet sitting for others, I’ve learned that every pet has unique needs. I’ll care for your pets the way I would want someone to care for my own and I’ll send lots of updates and pictures so you can feel confident they’re happy, safe, and getting lots of love while you’re away (:
About: I have very flexible hours and love taking care of pets with walks and lots of cuddles. I own two dogs and a cat that have very lovely lifestyles. Pet sitting works into my schedule because I am retired, and have a part time job working from home. I am up very early every day and am willing to sit with pets for awhile and also walk them. I care for my own pets daily. I am sure that when I leave a home after a drop in that the area is clean and safe for the pet.
“Dustin and his girlfriend Karen provided exemplary service. They were very attentive and loving to our girls and did everything we asked for. They were professional yet still personable, and it’s very clear that they have genuine love for animals. We will be definitely using them again in the future!”

“Ashley is SO sweet! She took care of my doggos and loved on all my animals so well. These dogs were the happiest little things when I made it back home. Thank you so much Ashley!!!!!”

“Kristina was great with Odie! From the pictures I received, Odie seemed happy and content. It's wonderful to not have to worry about my fur baby when I'm away. I will definitely contact Kristina again when I need someone to watch Odie.”

“If you want peace of mind for your pets while you are away, Holly will give you that!! She is wonderful. We loved getting the daily updates and photos/videos. The kitties were comfortable with Holly. She made them feel loved and well taken care of. She even went out of her way to bring in our house Amazon boxes that were delivered. We love Holly and will be booking with her again each time we are away!!”

About: I grew up with dogs most of my life and have a dog of my own now. I’m an experienced pet sitter and have watched multiple friend’s dogs before as well as my parent’s special needs elderly dachshund/lab mix who needed extra care and attention. I also volunteer at a local dog rescue. I love all dogs and feel like I have a special bond with them! My own dog, Remy, has some separation anxiety so I know how important it is to have a communicative dog sitter you can trust. I work from home and ensure that I have time in my schedule to give my own dog and the dogs I watch the needed attention and exercise. I have a flexible schedule and can take them on multiple walks a day if needed. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I am diligent about taking your dog out and live in a great neighborhood to walk dogs! I don’t crate my dog but I am happy to do it if that is best for your dog. My dog, Remy, is only 8 pounds so I can only accept dogs that do well with smaller dogs. Remy does well with other dogs. He goes to other Rovers who have dogs and goes to day care occasionally. He’s a little shy so it takes a little bit to warm up but he always ends up making a friend.

About: Hi! My name is Catalina and can't wait to take care of your four-legged best friend! I have been taking care of dogs (both my own and other peoples') since I was 10. I am a very active person and I would be honored to walk or dog-sit your dog! I understand each dog is unique and I take the time to get to know them and understand what makes each one happy. I am willing to take them on a run, play fetch or simply take them on a nice, long walk and of course, pamper them with love. There is no greater happiness for me than being with dogs and playing with them. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need more information.
“Jennifer made our booking and our care for Sam and Ranger extra easy! This was our first time using Rover and I am definitely resorting to this instead of boarding. She was punctual and updated us on the care for every visit. The doggos loved staying in the comfort of their home and having a new friend to stop by and play.”

Holly was wonderful! It was such a relief knowing our dogs were being checked on during the day. She was prompt, communicative, and sent photos during each visit, which gave us great peace of mind. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Southern Pines with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
