Pet Care From a UK Vet Nurse
My recent move to the US means I am not currently working as a veterinary nurse but would love to look after your fur babies and make sure they are as comfortable as possible whilst their loved ones are away. I have my own little princess, Molly, who it turns out enjoys flying more than me! A little about me: I trained to become a veterinary nurse in a large referral hospital, giving me the opportunity to work with and care for animals with many different needs. I have a Master of Science in Wildlife Biology, and completed my dissertation in the Amazon rainforest studying the distrubutions of different bird species. I have visited 31 countries!

What my services look like: Drop in visit: This can include feeding your pet, letting them out for a toilet break, playing in the yard, cuddles on the sofa, a full 30 minutes of tug of war, whatever they would prefer to do! Dog walk: Typically 30 minutes. If your dog prefers shorter walks due to age/injury, we can spend the rest of our time getting lots of fuss! I can also do 1 hour walks when needed. On hot days, I tend to shorten the walks and include play time at home, and will always carry water and a bowl to keep your dog hydrated!

Melissa was prompt was caring to Maggie’s needs and delightfully affectionate to Maggie which is definitely something Maggie desires and adores. She was attentive and considerate of Maggie’s needs. It was so comforting to have Melissa take care of Maggie this morning for us.

Melissa was amazing! My cats loved her- even my super shy girly and made them feel right at home while I was away! She provides incredibly thorough updates and spends great quality time with your fur babies. Would 110% book again (and will be booking again). Highly recommend!
Melissa was so sweet, communicative, and wonderful with my cats, especially my shy one! One of my cats had a last-minute injury right before my trip, and Melissa was incredibly accommodating with a new schedule on short notice and giving her medication. She was very attentive to their needs and kept me updated throughout her visits. And her daily photos were seriously the best part of my day, she takes such great pictures! I would absolutely recommend her!
Melissa did a wonderful job taking care of our two cats while we were away. She was very punctual, sent pictures, provided a short update on her visit, and even gave us a heads up when their litter changed color indicating there may be a health issue, but assured us both cats were doing well. I would hire her again and highly recommend her!

I am very flexible as Rover is my full-time job. I am happy to discuss what works best between us so we can make the best plan to care for your pet.
