About: I grew up with several different kinds of animals at home. My first job was at a pet store and I have continued to love caring for animals since then. I've taken care of friends and neighbors pets for several years. I am comfortable with any pet, as long as they have a good temperament. I am a fourth grade teacher, so my schedule is completely open in the summer. During the school year, my availability is mostly limited to weekends. At my home I have a fenced in backyard and two high energy dogs ( a Dutch Shepherd and a Corgi) who would love a buddy to play with. I also have three children, ages 8-15, who like to help take care of our furry friends. At your home you can expect your pet to be cared for just like you were there, whether they need to be walked or just let out and played with while you are away. Dogs must be crate trained for boarding or day care at my home. This allows me to make sure my pets and yours are safe when I leave the house.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve volunteered with shelters and own three of my own for the last 10 years. I’m currently working from home and hoping to get out of the house for a bit by doing drop in visits or dog walks. I’m available to board dogs as well so long as any furry guest gets along with the dogs already in the house. I’m comfortable administering medication so long as instructions are given. Our normal routine is a short walk in the morning, they hang out with me while I work, maybe a walk or a game at lunch, more work from home, then free in the evening for movie nights/parks/bite to eat somewhere dog friendly. I have a fenced yard with a doggy door to the back. I have also converted my office into a dog room with space for extra crate if that’s what is preferred. Animals are allowed on furniture at the owners discretion. I recognize all owners do things a bit differently and I know how worrisome it can be to leave them with a stranger so I want to put your mind at ease by conforming my care to how you prefer.

About: I have always owned dogs of different sizes and breeds! I also have extensive experience with exotics (guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, rabbits, etc), cats, and livestock (chickens, pigs, small ruminants, etc). My education comes from NC State University with a minor in Animal Science, I volunteer regularly with Caring Hearts for Canines, and am a certified Canine Care and Training Instructor though the AKC. I am comfortable giving medications including injections and with basic grooming. I do work as a full time teacher so most of my availability will be weekends and school holidays. About: My name is Brooke and I am a full time MLT student at Sandhills. I have been dog sitting on the side as well as babysitting to get me the money I need through college.
