“Kelly did an outstanding job walking Colt for me on Thursday and Friday mornings this week while my regular dog walker Tara was out of town visiting her daughter at college in Florida. Kelly was right on time every day and she bonded quickly with Colt and she really impressed Tara also when she came over a couple of weeks ago for a meet and greet and walked the route with Tara and Colt. Kelly walked Colt over 2 miles each morning in an hour very consistent with his walks with Tara and myself when I walk him on the weekends. She responded promptly to my request when I first contacted her and Kelly definitely exceeded my expectations!! She is very friendly and courteous and made me feel confident and completely at ease with walking Colt and I’m so glad that she is very physically fit to give Colt great exercise walking in the woods and around the two horse pastures in the early mornings when Colt is feeling his best and most active. I will definitely want and need her assistance again very soon in the near future since Tara travels out of state fairly often to visit her family.”

I am well versed in handling dogs and any protective behaviors, as well as any exercise level you need supported. I also have done shots (in horses), giving pills, and handling any ointments your pets may need. My current schedule is open, so I can come to you, whenever it's needed. I am currently working on a Bachelor's Degree and have a very flexible schedule; I can do walks and overnight stays to keep your pet comfortable whenever you need. My pets always had a schedule, so I'm happy to help keep you and your pets stay on a regular schedule. I am used to dogs needing walks and meal time in the mornings and the evenings, as well as some breaks in the afternoon; just let me know your needs and we'll get it worked out.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me time and time again to look after their pets (and even their plants), and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I share my home with my sweet lab mix, Congo, and my newly adopted cat, Mayo, who bring so much joy into my life. I’ve also spent years house‑sitting and pet‑sitting, and my time working in the local restaurant industry has taught me to be dependable, patient, and attentive. About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve volunteered with shelters and own three of my own for the last 10 years. I’m currently working from home and hoping to get out of the house for a bit by doing drop in visits or dog walks. I have a fenced yard with a doggy door to the back. I have also converted my office into a dog room with space for extra crate if that’s what is preferred. Animals are allowed on furniture at the owners discretion. I recognize all owners do things a bit differently and I know how worrisome it can be to leave them with a stranger so I want to put your mind at ease by conforming my care to how you prefer.

About: I have taken care of pets for 4 years now. I have taken care of other pets, such as goats, guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, and a gecko. I recently earned my Level 1 Certified Veterinary Assistant credential, so if your pet has any medications, like a pill, shot, or anything topical, I know how to administer those. Along with that, I have clinical experience due to my internship at Carthage Animal Hospital. I am free most of the summer, which allows me to have a more flexible schedule to take care of your pet. I also can take care of them at any specific times you need me to. Typically, I try to make sure the pet is well fed and has used the restroom while also playing with them to prevent boredom. I also believe in a safe environment for them, especially on walks or when taken outside, because it is such an important aspect to making sure your pet is protected.

About: I've had pets my whole life and love them all. I currently have 2 dogs, a cat, 5 chickens, a lizard and a fish. I am a nurse by training and have successfully cared for sick animals at home many times. I have cared for friends dogs for many years and would be happy to love on yours! About: I have had pets all my life. I have had dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters. Dogs are my favorite and I treat them as part of the family. I currently stay at home and homeschool my son. I have a very flexible schedule. In saying that, I am willing to work around your schedule. I have a large fenced in backyard that your dogs can run free in and have a great time. Or they have space to just lay in the sun, like most dogs enjoy doing at times :)

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Growing up I was around breeds such as Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Chows, German Shepards, Poodles and Lhasa Apsos. The first time I became a dog mom was to Zoe, a Bichon Frise. I lived in Chicago at the time in an apartment so I had to walk her multiple times a day. Bichons also need a lot of maintenance with their fur, so I’m very familiar with grooming methods of that type of breed. After Zoe, I became a dog mom to a Pit Bull/German Shepherd puppy, Garner. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and had him for 13.5 years. I understand the level of care a puppy needs as well as a senior dog. I’m also very familiar with handling large breeds on a leash. I understand how a pet is part of the family and I will show your dog lots of love and affection, just like I would my own. I am available Monday-Friday 8am-2pm then from 6pm-8pm. I’m available 7am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please contact me if you need help outside of those times and I can try to work with you. I’m not able to keep your dog in my home, but I will always make sure your dog is safe in your home. I will always follow your safety protocols.
