About: Like everyone else on this app, I love dogs, and grew up with German Shepherds However, I started on the rover app because I wanted to provide something I thought was missing… reliable pet care for high energy and athletic dogs. I travel a lot and the last thing I want to worry about is if my 70 pound GSD is wearing out the kind old lady I left her with because that’s who was available. Rest assured, if you leave your dog with me for work or for play, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. Need daily runs or multiple walks a day? Good. We run every day. Need yard play time? Not a problem. Extra belly rubs? Easy. Is your Dog a couch potato? I have a couch and have happy to give rubs and chill out. The point is, weather for a week or a weekend, if you leave your dog with me, you can focus on where ever your travels are taking you. I have a pretty demanding full time job. I’m only available for boarding in my home. If I’m home, your dog has 100% of my focus. I have a very well trained and very social GSD and a large fenced in yard. I also have rooms I can fence off to give your dog some space. I’m happy to play fetch, take multiple walks, and daily runs if needed.

I grew up with dogs, and from an early age, I learned how much they truly complete a home. I always accommodate my clients' animals daily routines, because their comfort comes first. It’s never about my schedule—it’s about maintaining what they know and trust. Just because their owners are away doesn’t mean their routine should change. I love taking pictures, so you'll have great photos of your animals while you are away. This is my full time job. Nice days don’t go to waste!!! Your pet(s) and I will be outside playing, running around, and a walk around the neighborhood (if allowed). I respect every home by keeping it tidy and cleaning up after myself. If you need a good spring clean and organizing, my services are always available: Dust, vacuum, organize, picking up poop, taking the trash out, grabbing the mail, watering plants, picking weeds… you name it, I will do it!

About: Hi there! My name is Lex, and I recently relocated from Washington State to Cameron, NC! I’m currently between jobs after working as a career barista for over a decade, which gives me plenty of flexibility to take care of your pets. I have experience caring for dogs of all personalities, from senior pups to energetic dogs who love getting outside and exploring. I’ve also cared for a variety of other animals, including cats, fish, frogs, hamsters, and guinea pigs. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets as if they were their own. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, or overnight house sitting, I’m happy to help make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. When I’m not spending time with my animals, you can usually find me at a concert, a comedy show, or finding something new to read. I’m excited to meet you and your furry family members! I recently moved to the area and my schedule is completely open! I’m flexible and happy to work around you and your pets’ needs. You can absolutely expect pictures and updates while you’re away! I’m a stay-at-home mom and full-time online college student, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Between schoolwork, spending time with my daughter, and caring for our own little zoo, animals are already a big part of my everyday routine. I’m home quite a bit throughout the week, which gives me plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, playtime, walks, and extra attention. I love having a routine but also understand that every pet has their own schedule, and I’m happy to work with yours! Some want to be your shadow all day, and others need a little time to warm up. I’m happy to give them whatever space or attention they need.
