She sent pictures frequently and answered my texts about how he was doing very quickly to reassure me. I was very nervous about leaving him with someone, but I felt totally comfortable with this family. I think he got lots of love and playtime with them. When I picked him up, he went back and sat on Heathers lap on the floor which speaks volumes to me that he thought she was great too. About: I’ve dog sat for my friends in this area on and off for years. I grew up on a ranch with animals and am comfortable with them. I have a 3 year old chocolate lab who absolutely loves friends to play with and has never had any issues with other dogs or people. I currently work part time, and have a lot of days with full flexibility. Most mornings after my kids go to school I’m free, and weekends or evenings my 12 year old and 8 year old love to walk with or play with dogs with me. About: I am a 10 year 4-H member growing up in agriculture I not only know how to take care of your pet but make sure there health is just as important when they are with me. I have two mini Aussie doodles who are energetic and love meeting new friends! I have causally taken care of pets since I was old enough for friends, family, and neighbors. Kelly was right on time every day and she bonded quickly with Colt and she really impressed Tara also when she came over a couple of weeks ago for a meet and greet and walked the route with Tara and Colt. Kelly walked Colt over 2 miles each morning in an hour very consistent with his walks with Tara and myself when I walk him on the weekends. She responded promptly to my request when I first contacted her and Kelly definitely exceeded my expectations!! She is very friendly and courteous and made me feel confident and completely at ease with walking Colt and I’m so glad that she is very physically fit to give Colt great exercise walking in the woods and around the two horse pastures in the early mornings when Colt is feeling his best and most active. As im working from home, im available nearly all the time except for a few virtual meetings during the week. Our normal routine is a short walk in the morning, they hang out with me while I work, maybe a walk or a game at lunch, more work from home, then free in the evening for movie nights/parks/bite to eat somewhere dog friendly. I have a fenced yard with a doggy door to the back. I have also converted my office into a dog room with space for extra crate if that’s what is preferred. Animals are allowed on furniture at the owners discretion. I recognize all owners do things a bit differently and I know how worrisome it can be to leave them with a stranger so I want to put your mind at ease by conforming my care to how you prefer.
About: I’ve been around animals for most of my life and truly love caring for them. I’ve worked with horses since I was 8 years old and have cared for dogs since I was 16. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Growing up I was around breeds such as Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Chows, German Shepards, Poodles and Lhasa Apsos. The first time I became a dog mom was to Zoe, a Bichon Frise. I lived in Chicago at the time in an apartment so I had to walk her multiple times a day. Bichons also need a lot of maintenance with their fur, so I’m very familiar with grooming methods of that type of breed. After Zoe, I became a dog mom to a Pit Bull/German Shepherd puppy, Garner. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and had him for 13.5 years. I understand the level of care a puppy needs as well as a senior dog. I’m also very familiar with handling large breeds on a leash. I understand how a pet is part of the family and I will show your dog lots of love and affection, just like I would my own. I am available Monday-Friday 8am-2pm then from 6pm-8pm. I’m available 7am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please contact me if you need help outside of those times and I can try to work with you. I’m not able to keep your dog in my home, but I will always make sure your dog is safe in your home. I will always follow your safety protocols.

About: I have had pets all my life. I have had dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters. Dogs are my favorite and I treat them as part of the family. I currently stay at home and homeschool my son. She sent pictures frequently and answered my texts about how he was doing very quickly to reassure me. I was very nervous about leaving him with someone, but I felt totally comfortable with this family. I think he got lots of love and playtime with them. When I picked him up, he went back and sat on Heathers lap on the floor which speaks volumes to me that he thought she was great too. Hopefully we will be back to Pinehurst and he can stay with them again. Can't thank you enough!!!!”

About: I became a dog mom at 19, and have been dog-sitting off and on ever since! While the extra income is always nice, I mainly do it to prevent coming home with a new puppy every week. I treat all the dogs I meet like they're my own and give them as much love as I do to my own babies - an 11 year old Lab mix and 6 year old German Shepherd! They both have loved every dog I've ever had staying at my house. I'm comfortable with all breeds and all ages, and have no problem giving medications if needed.
