About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Growing up I was around breeds such as Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Chows, German Shepards, Poodles and Lhasa Apsos. The first time I became a dog mom was to Zoe, a Bichon Frise. I lived in Chicago at the time in an apartment so I had to walk her multiple times a day. Bichons also need a lot of maintenance with their fur, so I’m very familiar with grooming methods of that type of breed. After Zoe, I became a dog mom to a Pit Bull/German Shepherd puppy, Garner. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and had him for 13.5 years. I understand the level of care a puppy needs as well as a senior dog. I’m also very familiar with handling large breeds on a leash. I understand how a pet is part of the family and I will show your dog lots of love and affection, just like I would my own. I am available Monday-Friday 8am-2pm then from 6pm-8pm. I’m available 7am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please contact me if you need help outside of those times and I can try to work with you. I’m not able to keep your dog in my home, but I will always make sure your dog is safe in your home. I will always follow your safety protocols.

About: Hello! I'm a 40yo female and long time animal lover. I had a small farm in Texas and I've always had xlarge breed dogs since being on my own. I am well versed in handling dogs and any protective behaviors, as well as any exercise level you need supported. I also have done shots (in horses), giving pills, and handling any ointments your pets may need. My current schedule is open, so I can come to you, whenever it's needed. I am currently working on a Bachelor's Degree and have a very flexible schedule; I can do walks and overnight stays to keep your pet comfortable whenever you need. My pets always had a schedule, so I'm happy to help keep you and your pets stay on a regular schedule. I am used to dogs needing walks and meal time in the mornings and the evenings, as well as some breaks in the afternoon; just let me know your needs and we'll get it worked out.

About: I am a lifelong l lover of all animals. As a kid I had dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and fish. As often as I could be, I was outside looking for all types of animals and exploring nature. Currently I have 3 dogs, a cat, and 2 beautiful little girls. One of my dogs is diabetic and I have to administer insulin daily. I have a lot of experience caring for many animals with different dietary and health needs. Right now, I am a stay at home dad. My wife is off work for the Summer, so I will have time available to help care for your pets. My children will also be starting pre-school in the Fall so I will have plenty of time available for pet visits. I am very detail oriented, and will make sure I care for your pets how you prefer, and follow your instructions to the best of my ability. I currently have two daughters in elementary school. I drop-off and pickup every day from school. I am available while they are in school (approx. 8:00AM-2:00PM) and may have availability later in the afternoon some days. I am available for any drop-in visits at client's home (including walking, feeding, and other routine pet care) but, am not caring for pets at my home at this time.

About: Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve spent time looking after pets for friends, family, and neighbors—making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I pay close attention to their personalities and needs so they feel right at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I build my schedule around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits, and I ensure each pet receives consistent attention, exercise, and care. I keep my schedule organized so I can be reliable and fully present for every visit. I care for pets in their own home where they feel safest and most relaxed. I stick to their usual routine—meals, walks, playtime, and downtime—so nothing feels disrupted while you’re away. I spend quality time with each pet, not just quick visits, and always make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved. I also keep you updated so you have peace of mind.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me time and time again to look after their pets (and even their plants), and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I share my home with my sweet lab mix, Congo, and my newly adopted cat, Mayo, who bring so much joy into my life. I’ve also spent years house‑sitting and pet‑sitting, and my time working in the local restaurant industry has taught me to be dependable, patient, and attentive. I treat every pet with the same love and comfort I give my own! I’m a local college student with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to give your pets attention, playtime, and consistent care. I follow safe walking practices with secure leash handling and close awareness of my surroundings. I also stick to your dog’s usual training and routine to keep them comfortable.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve volunteered with shelters and own three of my own for the last 10 years. I’m currently working from home and hoping to get out of the house for a bit by doing drop in visits or dog walks. I’m available to board dogs as well so long as any furry guest gets along with the dogs already in the house. I’m comfortable administering medication so long as instructions are given. I’m certified in canine CPR. Im happy to cater to the needs of your dog and follow any instructions you provide. As im working from home, im available nearly all the time except for a few virtual meetings during the week. Our normal routine is a short walk in the morning, they hang out with me while I work, maybe a walk or a game at lunch, more work from home, then free in the evening for movie nights/parks/bite to eat somewhere dog friendly. I have a fenced yard with a doggy door to the back. I have also converted my office into a dog room with space for extra crate if that’s what is preferred. Animals are allowed on furniture at the owners discretion. I recognize all owners do things a bit differently and I know how worrisome it can be to leave them with a stranger so I want to put your mind at ease by conforming my care to how you prefer.

Multiple animals are fine. Any size dog. Services available for Moore County. Comfortable with sick ones and able to follow any medical practices you have. I'm sensible, quiet, pleasant, clean and it would be just me. Hobbies include sewing and crafts. Hope to be a help to you and your pets. (I'm in this for the bonus dog kisses!) Thank you for reading. My schedule is posted and, if possible, I can accommodate walks and drop-in visits if I am overnight locally.I'm involved with an airborne volunteer organization and have flying days here and there. Early riser, physically fit and active. I follow the daily routines already set by the client: walk, bed, feeding times, etc. Knowing what the pet is like ahead of time is important. About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Because I’ve always had pets of my own, I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust looking after your furry family members. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or simply keeping a routine, I’m here to provide dependable, caring support for your pets. I’m currently a senior in high school, and my class schedule is very flexible. I only have classes from 2:05-3:45, which means I’m available most of the day for pet care. This allows me plenty of time for walks, check-ins, feeding schedules, and giving your pets the attention they need. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. When caring for pets, I respectfully follow the pet’s normal schedule like handling feedings, walks, potty breaks, medication if needed, and any special instructions you provide. No matter where the care takes place, I’m committed to offering reliable, loving, and attentive service so your pet feels happy and secure while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of pets for 4 years now. I have taken care of other pets, such as goats, guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, and a gecko. I recently earned my Level 1 Certified Veterinary Assistant credential, so if your pet has any medications, like a pill, shot, or anything topical, I know how to administer those. Along with that, I have clinical experience due to my internship at Carthage Animal Hospital. I am free most of the summer, which allows me to have a more flexible schedule to take care of your pet. I also can take care of them at any specific times you need me to. Typically, I try to make sure the pet is well fed and has used the restroom while also playing with them to prevent boredom. I also believe in a safe environment for them, especially on walks or when taken outside, because it is such an important aspect to making sure your pet is protected.

About: I was born and raised with dogs, cats, birds, and horses. I’ve never known a time in my life without animals! From farm animals to household pets, I’ve cared for them all. I’m a big proponent of positive reinforcement and prioritize gentle care and minimal stress for your pet. I’m comfortable with complex medical needs, seniors, and "quirky" pets. I’m happy to adhere to routines and training for continuity. I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care that I treat my own ❤️ I’m doing animal care full time at the moment so I have a flexible schedule. I can work in midday visits, late night check ins, and multiple visits. Whatever works best for you! I’m happy to take your pup on neighborhood walks, play in the yard, or go on outings to Sniffspots or parks. I can drop in and check on your cats or spend time doing enrichment activities. I’ll treat your home with respect as I would my own and can take care of house sitting chores while you’re out of town. At my home, I have a large fenced yard and three very playful dogs. A large greenway runs through my neighborhood and is shaded for year round walks. I can crate your pup separately as needed.

About: I grew up with several different kinds of animals at home. My first job was at a pet store and I have continued to love caring for animals since then. I've taken care of friends and neighbors pets for several years. I am comfortable with any pet, as long as they have a good temperament. I am a fourth grade teacher, so my schedule is completely open in the summer. During the school year, my availability is mostly limited to weekends. At my home I have a fenced in backyard and two high energy dogs ( a Dutch Shepherd and a Corgi) who would love a buddy to play with. I also have three children, ages 8-15, who like to help take care of our furry friends. At your home you can expect your pet to be cared for just like you were there, whether they need to be walked or just let out and played with while you are away. Dogs must be crate trained for boarding or day care at my home. This allows me to make sure my pets and yours are safe when I leave the house.

About: Hi!! I’m basically your dog’s dream sitter 🤩✨🤍 I’m super active and love getting outside wheter its running, walking, or hiking. If your dog has energy to burn, I’m your girl. I’ll happily take them on long walks or even runs (yes, your pup might come back more fit than when you left them 😌). I’m also big on balance, so if your dog is more of a “lay in the sun and vibe” type, I’m just as happy giving them all the love, attention, and chill time they want. I’m responsible, reliable, and genuinely love animals, so I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own. You’ll get lots of updates, cute pictures, and peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I’d love to get to know your pet and make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away 💛 Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my everyday life! I build my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for whether it's morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight stays. I'm an active person who loves being outdoors, so daily walks and playtime are something I genuinely enjoy. Because I’m organized and dependable, I’m able to give each pet the time, attention, and consistency they need. Whether it's early morning potty breaks, lunchtime cuddles, or evening strolls, I make sure your pet feels loved and cared for as part of my regular routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their regular routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow your instructions closely whether that’s feeding schedules, walk times, playtime routines, or administering medications. Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 457 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Eagle Springs. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Eagle Springs. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Eagle Springs.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eagle Springs. On Rover:

  • 97% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
