About: As a passionate animal advocate, I've had the privilege of serving as the Foster Care Coordinator at the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society for 1 year, while also volunteering with shelters throughout my adult life. Additionally, I'm a Certified Veterinarian Assistant, and my life's journey has been enriched by sharing it with diverse animals, from beloved domestic pets like dogs and cats, to hospice and senior animals. I'm committed to providing your cherished pets with the same love, care, and compassion that I've devoted to my own. I am thrilled to be available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. If you have a special request for different hours, I invite you to share your needs and I will eagerly discuss and arrange a solution that works for you. I will nurture your fur babies with the same love and devotion I would shower upon my own precious little ones. With my extensive shelter experience, I have been blessed to work with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, temperaments and life stages. I have had the joy of caring for rambunctious puppies and the privilege of providing comfort to senior dogs and cats.

“Helena A, she is the best dog Walker person to know her and my dog Lilly get along, really, really good, she's teaching Lily how to play out of her shell, I would recommend her to anybody, and she's easy to work with. She was able to do a last minute booking for me when I had last minute plans.”

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and now have a golden retriever puppy of my own. Throughout college I would pet sit and care for family friends dogs when I came home for holidays and breaks. Experience with both small and large dogs. Currently work as a registered nurse with a flexible schedule during the week as well as availability on weekends and holidays. Comfortable with kenneling, walking, feeding, bathing, giving medications, and playing. I currently work full time as a registered nurse Monday through Friday however I still have a flexible schedule. Available both during the week and weekends as well as holidays. I can easily crate dogs in your home and provide walking if there is no fenced in yard. If there is a fenced in yard there will be lots of play time.

About: Trustworthy and Caring Dog Sitter with Over a Decade of Personal Dog Ownership Experience. Thank you for considering me as your dog sitter. I currently work outside the home full-time M-F with a lunch break at 1200 where I come home and walk my 12 year old dog. I have a fenced yard, a 12 year old Yorkie, and plenty of places for your pup to explore on walks. Your pup will be cared for as a member of the family.

About: Hello, my name is Kathy and I offer overnight boarding, day care, and walking for mellow and senior dogs and I specialize in caring for cats and kittens. I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs my whole life, from young ones to seniors, as well as sick pets who need medical attention. I am skilled at giving oral medication and shots. I also volunteer at my local no-kill shelter and handle cats of all sizes. My husband and I live with our small introverted tripod dog and 2 cats in a house with a fenced-in backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with sidewalks. Our home is a relaxing space for senior, mellow, and/or introverted dogs - if your dog enjoys cuddling on the couch or slow strolls around a quiet neighborhood, then we have the perfect home! I also offer the following services separately: - Dog baths (shampoo + conditioner; $15/bath) - Cat nail trimming ($10/session) Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home with a generally flexible schedule. I'm able to set my own hours for the most part and can be available over lunch as well as before and after work. I'm also able to take frequent breaks to let dogs outside in our fenced-in backyard with a 6-foot fence. After work, we will go for a walk around the neighborhood. I'm the primary caretaker but my husband helps when he is home. Boarding: I have a small, introverted tripod and 2 cats. As such, I will only board mellow, senior, and/or introverted dogs who are good with cats. My cats will not bother your baby as long as they don't bother the cats. Drop-ins: I understand every pet has its own personality and will respect their needs! I'm happy to play with your energetic companion or leave your shy loved one alone and let them come to me. No matter what, I am always attentive to their body language.

“So happy to find Logan! With two crazy huskies, finding someone confident enough to take on that challenge is a little nerve racking, but Logan is exactly what we needed. She is flexible and accomidating, available at short notice when needed. Great communication and provided updates. Definitely recommend Logan and plan on having her walk my pups again! 🐺🐻❄️”

About: I've loved animals since I was a kid and have cared for many throughout my life! I was tasked with raising my family dog since she was a puppy when I was in high school, and I helped my college roommate with her puppy! I have walked/boarded many dogs and cats since moving to Virginia! Being in the military, my coworkers travel a lot so I have become the workplace's go-to "pet auntie." I genuinely love to spoil pets and providing them with a safe and homey environment while their loved ones are out! I have a fairly flexible work schedule so I can come back to my home or to your home to take care of your pet! Early morning, lunch, and evenings are especially free, so I can work around that depending on your needs. I do not own pets, so they will be here as a single child in the case they are boarded! Crates, food, litter boxes, etc will need to be provided as I don't own those things. I have access to many parks around my neighborhood, so walkability is not an issue!

“Ashley has housesit for our dogs over the past three years. She has stayed in our home for overnights on many occasions watching all three at the same time. Our dogs were all happy, healthy and our home immaculate. and she has also been very flexible with us when we had changes to return dates which was a nice bonus. Elizabeth B.
“When you think “dog owner”, you should think Elizabeth. No one shows more dedication, all-encompassing love, concern, empathy, and zeal in not only her own beautiful Aussie puppy, but all dogs alike, than her. She cares deeply, loves fiercely, and is one of the most direct and respectful communicators I know. She will never let you down or leave you hanging. Thank you for everything Elizabeth!!!!”

Trenton L.
“Trent is my son. He is a great dog dad to his dog Buster. He has also been a great “Bubba” (as all of our pets have called him lol) to our dogs Mylo (black lab-passed away in 2019), Sissy (mixed breed who came from the shelter-passed away in 2022) & Scruff (toy poodle who was a stray in our neighborhood-passed away in 2023) & our cat Lily (also a stray). Trent shows compassion for all animals but he always seemed to have a special place in his heart for Scruff, who was blind when we took him in. Trent was very patient with him, especially in Scruff’s later years when he needed to be carried a lot. My grandparents were animal lovers who worked for the SPCA in their day and their legacy of loving animals has definitely traveled down the family tree to their great grandson Trent. Trent has also recently walked 3 dogs for my friend while she was recuperating from an injury and I’m sure she would highly recommend him for this job. Trent is reliable and you won’t go wrong if you hire him.”

Catherine A.

“Love comes Catherine! She's taken care of my babies for 20 years. If you want someone who is kind and conscientious, and who will make sure that your fur baby will be loved and cared for, then Catherine is perfect.”

Logan M.

Yuna L.
“Yuna is an amazing dog sitter and walker! My husband and I have had her keep our somewhat anxious and reactive dog Morty 3 or 4 times and every time Morty comes back to us content and ready to continue life at his normal pace and schedule without needing to be retrained on anything! She’s the best.”
