I’d let my pups stay with her again anytime- highly recommend.”

About: As a lifelong dog owner with two fur babies of my own, I understand just how important it is to find someone who genuinely cares for your pet. I work from home, so I'm always around to keep a close eye on your pup, providing plenty of attention, playtime, and love throughout the day. With a securely fenced backyard for regular potty breaks and daily afternoon walks to keep them active, your pet will feel right at home. I look forward to giving your furry family member the care and comfort they deserve! I work from home, so I'm here 99% of the time, with my office right next to the backdoor for quick, on-demand potty breaks. I’m available all day, every day of the week, with overnight boarding offered, too. I’ll stick closely to your pup’s usual routine for meals, medications, and other needs to make them feel right at home. Plus, I do daily evening walks before dinner to help get out that last bit of energy, setting them up for a calm, restful night. Your pet's comfort and happiness are my top priority! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have two friendly dogs of my own—a small breed rescue and a playful St. Bernard—both full of energy and love meeting new friends. We keep a relaxed, homey atmosphere where pups are welcome on the furniture and beds, making themselves at home just like family. For safety, we crate our dogs only when stepping out briefly (like a quick grocery run) and during mealtimes so everyone can eat in peace, minimizing competition. If your pup prefers their own space, we have an extra crate on hand, so no need to bring yours if that’s easier. Our smaller fenced yard is great for quick play sessions, bathroom breaks, and light exercise. Plus, I’m happy to help with gentle grooming as needed, including baths, brushing, and paw cleaning. You can trust that your pet will be in a loving, structured environment with plenty of attention and care!
15. Keyana B.
“Keyana is very sweet, patient, and loving when it comes to my babies. I have a very hyper boxer who loves walks and keyana would send me pictures of my baby on the beach and at the park! She is amazing and she even bathed my hyper girl!”
16. Alberto M.
“Alberto is an amazing animal lover. He volunteers in his spare time caring for animals at the Peninsula Animal Shelter in Newport News. He takes care of chickens too!”
17. Kelsey C.
“Kelsey took exceptional care of my pup. I learned through this that he has some severe separation anxiety that we need to work on and she handled it with absolute grace and kindness. My family was laying my father-in-law to rest the day she watched our pup and she didn’t worry me with updates on his not-so-great behavior and I am immensely grateful. We will work on his manners and then give the Rover app another try. Thank you again to Kelsey and her family!”
18. Tanisha J.
About: Hi my name is Tanisha. I am a military nurse. I have taken care of dogs most of my adult life. I recently had my dog pass due to medical conditions. She had been with me since 2010. Since her death I’ve decided to open my home to taking care of others pets because I’ve experienced the struggle with finding quality pet care. You can count on me to treat your pet like my own. I have a 12 year old son, that also love animals, so between the two of us your pet will get plenty of love and attention. Your pet will be allowed to go anywhere in the house they choose, but I do not allow them on the furniture. Your pet will sleep inside of the home.
19. Jasmine N.
