“I could rave about how absolutely amazing Samantha was with my Khaleesi for hours, but I’ll keep it short for reading purposes. My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. By the end of the 3 days, Khaleesi was walking into Samantha’s house without hesitation and didn’t even turn around to look at me. Samantha is incredible and I highly recommend her!!!!”

“While I was visiting my brother and his family in Williamsburg, Christene was so wonderful with helping watch my pup Riley while we went out to explore for the day! She was super responsive and her schedule was very flexible. Riley’s a bit of an anxious and skittish doggo but he warmed up to Christene and her family quickly!! I’m so thankful I found Christene to watch Riley. It’s always nerve wracking leaving Riley with someone new, but she gave me a lot of updates and reassurance he was acclimating well!! Her doggo is also the cutest so that’s a huge plus! Highly recommend and I’ll be reaching out again when we visit again!”

About: Hello, my name is Kathy and I offer overnight boarding, day care, and walking for mellow and senior dogs and I specialize in caring for cats and kittens. I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs my whole life, from young ones to seniors, as well as sick pets who need medical attention. I am skilled at giving oral medication and shots. I also volunteer at my local no-kill shelter and handle cats of all sizes. My husband and I live with our small introverted tripod dog and 2 cats in a house with a fenced-in backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with sidewalks. Our home is a relaxing space for senior, mellow, and/or introverted dogs - if your dog enjoys cuddling on the couch or slow strolls around a quiet neighborhood, then we have the perfect home! I also offer the following services separately: - Dog baths (shampoo + conditioner; $15/bath) - Cat nail trimming ($10/session) Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home with a generally flexible schedule. I'm able to set my own hours for the most part and can be available over lunch as well as before and after work. I'm also able to take frequent breaks to let dogs outside in our fenced-in backyard with a 6-foot fence. After work, we will go for a walk around the neighborhood. I'm the primary caretaker but my husband helps when he is home. Boarding: I have a small, introverted tripod and 2 cats. As such, I will only board mellow, senior, and/or introverted dogs who are good with cats. My cats will not bother your baby as long as they don't bother the cats. Drop-ins: I understand every pet has its own personality and will respect their needs! I'm happy to play with your energetic companion or leave your shy loved one alone and let them come to me. No matter what, I am always attentive to their body language.
“Shawna is the absolute Best. Just from 1 visit , I don’t want my Kash going to anyone else . She is so welcoming and gave any info I needed before the visit . My Kash was comfortable and when he warmed up he gave her a few laughs . She shared videos and keep me updated throughout the day. Definitely recommend. I will be booking with her more often 😊”

“She's great! Really cared for our scared pups during their first time away from home. Definitely would use her again and recommend to anyone needing a caring and loving sitter for their fur babies.”

“Melissa is amazing. She is so sweet and genuinely cares about your fur baby. Her fur babies are super friendly and got along so well with mine. My boy felt so comfortable as soon as he walked in the door. It was like he had been there a thousand times before. You will get photos throughout the day to see how much fun your fur baby is having. I use Melissa weekly for day care and will be using her for boarding as well. If you want to feel your fur baby is safe and loved….. Melissa is your sitter.”

“This family takes great care of our pup. When I pulled into the drive and Rosy recognized where we were, she was super excited! They love her and Rosy loves them right back!”

About: I’m a dog trainer so I’ve worked with dogs of all temperaments so I’m willing to take the “not so friendly” pups in! I’ve worked with a minimum of 50 dogs, all boarded in my house! (Not all at the same time, hahah! But I have 2 dogs of my own) As mentioned previously, I have 2 dogs of my own, not including the dogs I train, so a large portion of my days are spent caring for dogs! My dogs love being outside so they all spend a lot of time out in my backyard. I provide multiple potty breaks a day, typically between 8 and 12 each day. I will provide grooming (bath, brushing, and nails) for each dog that stays in my care! I have a kennel room which is filled with toys, beds, crates, a tv, and windows for fresh air! I’m able to house dogs that aren’t dog, cat, or child friendly as well!

“Esteisy was amazing with our dog all week! She has a super spacious yard that our older dog loved rolling and playing in. She met up every morning and afternoon on time during drop off and pick up. She was very responsive with communication and sent us a report card with pictures and daily activities! We would definitely book with her again!”

“We had a great experience with Qasheedra. From the moment we met, she and her family were warm, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took the time to understand my dogs’ needs and routine, which really put me at ease. My dog came back happy, relaxed, and well cared for — I couldn’t ask for more. I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!”
